Lincoln Or Lee? What Would Hitler Say?

“Some crazy person just compared President Abraham Lincoln to Hitler. Yes, this just happened on CNN and Brooke Baldwin’s reaction was perfect.” So scribbled one Ricky Davila on social media. Indeed, an elderly Southern gentleman had ventured that President Lincoln, not General Lee, murdered civilians, a point even a Court historian and a Lincoln idolater like Doris Kearns Goodwin would concede. While the Argument From Hitler is seldom a good one, Ms. Baldwin’s response was way worse. Were she an honest purveyor of news and knowledge; anchor-activist Baldwin would have sought the facts. Instead, she pulled faces, so the viewer… Keep Reading

President Trump Clears The Air On “Unite The Right” During Contentious Press Conference

While mainstream media reporters have been foaming at the mouth attempting to get President Trump to repeat their biased talking points all week, he went in the opposite direction at today’s press conference. While deriding Nazis and white supremacists, Trump also bashed what he calls the “alt-left” as well as offering a defense for “Unite the Right” protesters who merely wanted to preserve historical statues. “What about the alt-left that came charging at the, as you say, the alt-right. Do they have any semblance of guilt?” Trump asked reporters after getting grilled over his response to this weekend’s madness in… Keep Reading

“Unite The Right” Protest Broken Up And Moved Due To ANTIFA Terror, Police Stand Down

Leftist terror has forced today’s “Unite the Right” rally to be moved from Emancipation Park after right-wing protesters were frequently assaulted. Law enforcement stood down and refused to protect protesters, causing a state of emergency, which caused the rally to be moved far away from the Robert E. Lee statue that was the focal point of the protest. Twitter is ablaze with images and video of melees occurring between far-left and far-right protesters. ANTIFA and their sympathizers, desperate to deny a “platform” for their opponents to speak freely, terrorized the protesters with mace, urine and feces as police stood down… Keep Reading

“Unite The Right” Becomes Civil Rights March After City Attempts To Block Protest

The “Unite The Right” rally scheduled to take place Saturday at Emancipation Park in Charlottesville, VA is going to happen, but not without serious push-back from local government officials. They are attempting to force to rally to be relocated because of alleged public safety concerns. The Charlottesville city council revoked the permit of the organizers, citing specious claims that too many people were planning to attend. The city council wanted to move the location to a more remote area far away from the Robert E. Lee statue they intend on defending. Alt-right activist Jason Kessler said that he and fellow… Keep Reading

The Civil War, Then And Now

One hundred and fifty-four years ago this week, nearly at the peak of the Civil War, General Robert E. Lee cemented his legacy in American history with his triumph over Union forces at the battle of Chancellorsville, a victory often referred to as a perfect battle. It is an example of how sangfroid and strategy and chutzpah and cunning have together the potential to overcome overwhelming odds. It was a disgraceful performance by the north’s General Joseph Hooker and it cost Lee his “right arm” in General Stonewall Jackson, who was killed by friendly fire on the second of May.… Keep Reading
