The US Constitution Was Never Necessary For Military Defense

Before the US Constitution of 1787 was ratified, its proponents had claimed a centralized and powerful American state was necessary for the purposes of military defense. But, as the Anti-Federalists of the time pointed out, the older constitution (known as the Articles of Confederation) had already been sufficient enough to allow the colonies to defeat what was the most powerful state on earth — the British Empire. By the time the Federalists were advocating for a new, stronger, more costly constitution, the US was, as Richard Henry Lee put it, “in no immediate danger of any commotions; we are in a state of perfect peace, and… Keep Reading

Israeli Deputy FM Slams American Jews Who “Never Send Their Children To Fight” For U.S., Accused Of Anti-Semitism By Left

Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely has slammed American Jews in an interview with i24 News for what she believes to be a lack of patriotism to the United States. She argued that American Jews did not “[understand] the complexity of the region”. “People that never send their children to fight for their country,” she said. “Most of the [U.S.] Jews don’t have children serving as soldiers, going to the Marines, going to Afghanistan or to Iraq – most of them are having a quite convenient life.” Keep Reading

President Trump Touts Foreign Policy Progress While Putting Allies On Notice

President Donald Trump is happy with recent gains made against ISIS in the Middle East, and credits a shift in foreign policy from his predecessors as the result. Military men are now fighting to win, as they weren’t during the globalist regimes of Obama and Bush. “Everybody is talking about the progress you’ve made in the last few months since I opened it up,” Trump said in a Thanksgiving video call to the troops in Afghanistan. “We’re not fighting anymore to just walk around. We’re fighting to win. You’ve turned it around over the last three to four months like… Keep Reading

Rand Paul Slams Afghanistan Troop Increase

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) slammed President Donald Trump’s decision to commit 4,000 more troops to Afghanistan in an op-ed for The Hill. “The mission in Afghanistan has lost its purpose, and I think it is a terrible idea to send any more troops into that war,” he wrote on Tuesday. “It’s time to come home now.” Keep Reading

Why Everyone Reacted Inappropriately To Trump’s Transgender Military Ban

On July 26, 2017, President Donald Trump announced a ban on transgender individuals from joining the military. Trump’s announcement was met by praise from the Right and hate from the Left. In response, leftists continued to use their same-old Hitler comparisons and acted like this was the worst thing to happen in American history. But on the other side of the aisle, the religious right applauded this announcement and proclaimed that this was just another tactic in making America great again. Overall, I believe that the response from both sides of the political spectrum revealed that the Left continues to… Keep Reading

Justin Amash Joins RINOs & Democrats To Secure Military Transgender Funding

Representative Justin Amash, a self described fiscal conservative, and 23 other so-called Republicans joined together with Democrats to shoot down an amendment proposed by Missouri Rep. Vicky Hartzler that could potentially have saved upwards of $1.3 billion over the next decade by prohibiting the Pentagon from paying for surgeries and hormone therapy for mentally ill soldiers who are confused about what sex they are. Voting along with all 190 Democrats present and Justin Amash were Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, who has a transgender son, as well as anti-Trump moderate Carlos Curbelo and Planned Parenthood apologist John Katko. Hartzler maintained the amendment was… Keep Reading

The Arms Industry War On America

Recently, the film Man Down premiered in theaters across the United States. The film showcases the negative effects that war has both on the people who serve in them and their families back home. The film has the viewer immersed in the story, and I couldn’t help but leave the film thinking about the problems resulting from American militarism. How is it that we have 200,000 veterans who are homeless? Why do we have one in five veterans ending up with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? And why are 20 veterans committing suicide a day?   This depressing state of affairs has… Keep Reading
