Steve Bannon Plots Revolution Against GOP Establishment, Targets Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch For Removal

Steve Bannon continues his ruthless pursuit against his enemies in the GOP establishment. As Executive Director of Breitbart News, he has hammered enemies of President Donald Trump’s populist ‘America First’ agenda relentlessly. He is recruiting primary challengers for next year’s mid-term elections, and recently attempted to convince an anti-establishment hopeful to take out Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT). Bannon met with Boyd Matheson while the two men were both in Washington D.C. last week. According to a Deseret News report, Bannon tried to convince Matheson to run against Hatch, a long-time establishment favorite, in a primary election next year as apart… Keep Reading

Report: John Kelly Blocking Deal That Would Vindicate Julian Assange

White House Chief of Staff John Kelly is allegedly blocking Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) from communicating a deal to President Donald Trump regarding Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, according to a Tuesday report by the Daily Caller. Under the terms of the deal, Assange would provide information vindicating Russia of the now-widespread accusation that the country hacked into the Democratic National Committee and subsequently gave the information they acquired to Wikileaks in an effort to assist Donald Trump. In return, Assange would receive a preemptive presidential pardon. Keep Reading

Senator Bob Corker Announces Retirement As The Establishment Exodus Continues

It’s been a difficult week for Senate Republicans. Senator Luther Strange, a heavy favorite by the Republican mainstream to win the Alabama primary, lost to former State Supreme Court justice Roy Moore by a wide margin. This comes after the failure of a last minute attempt to repeal and replace the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, an effort led by Senators Bill Cassidy and Lindsey Graham. Now, a prominent Republican Senator has announced his retirement. Senator Bob Corker has announced that, at the conclusion of his term in 2018, he will not seek re-election. First elected in 2006, he… Keep Reading

The Liberty Conservative Endorses Roy Moore In Alabama Senate Race

The Liberty Conservative has announced that it is endorsing Judge Roy Moore in the special election for U.S. Senate in Alabama. Moore is set to face establishment stalwart Sen. Luther Strange in Tuesday’s primary runoff. Roy Moore’s record shows that he is a man of principle, and a proven defender of constitutionally limited government and states’ rights. If elected, Moore has pledged to stand up to Mitch McConnell, and to stand with Senate conservatives such as Rand Paul and Mike Lee. By contrast, Strange, a former Washington lobbyist, is being propped up to the tune of $8 million by McConnell-linked… Keep Reading

The Establishment, The Real Deplorables

To those who say that Trump is going to lose this election: conventional wisdom agrees with you, as do the various betting pools out there. Of course, Brexit reminds us that the anti-establishment, populist vote in this election cycle is probably larger than the polls would indicate. Still, is it likely that lightning will strike the same place twice and give us two Brexits in the same year? Again, conventional wisdom would say no, which is why you have history, most current polls, and common sense on your side when you say that the election is lost. My sense is that… Keep Reading

Zuckerberg Embraces The Establishment

There are two obvious branches of the economy.  There is the market economy, entirely benevolent in nature and identified by its voluntary and mutually beneficial transactions, its natural coordination of scarce resources, and its ability to increase prosperity.  And the political economy which is entirely malevolent in nature, and is identified by its reliance on coercion and force, its bureaucratic inefficiencies, and its manipulation of fear, greed, and envy to serve the ends of a select few. Actors in both spheres of the economy are driven by a desire to better their own lives, the lives of their loved ones,… Keep Reading
