U.S. Severely Underestimates Civilian Deaths From Military Interventions In Iraq, Syria

President Donald Trump criticized unnecessary foreign military intervention frequently as a candidate and even while serving in the oval office, but the reality of his policies is not much different than what occurred under his predecessors. The Trump administration is severely underestimating civilian causalities from the warfare being conducted against ISIS in Iraq and Syria. For the month of July, the Pentagon only counted 13 of the 37 reports of civilian casualties as valid in their official statement. From these 13 “credible” reports, the Pentagon estimated that there were 61 unintentional civilian deaths that came as the result of their… Keep Reading

CIA Used Diplomatic Flights As Cover To Arm Terrorists In Middle East

The U.S. government, aided by Saudi Arabia, has been staging phony diplomatic flights in order to smuggle weapons to terror groups. A Bulgarian reporter uncovered that at least 350 flights were used for these purposes, resulting in $1 billion worth of illicit weapons being funneled into the hands of terrorists. Labeled diplomatic so the flights would not be searched, the culprits were moving weapons largely purchased from Eastern Europe. The CIA has been assisting Syrian terrorists in this manner as they attempt to… Keep Reading

Tillerson apparently finds it problematic that Iranian forces are working to fight ISIS throughout the Middle East. The Trump administration funnels weapons to states such as Saudi… Keep Reading

When Emma Lazarus wrote The New Colossus in 1883 she may or may not have been aware that, 6,500 miles to the east in the Arabian Peninsula, the Al Saud were clashing with their bitter rivals, the al-Rashids from the city of Hayil. Things didn’t go well for the Al Saud and, consequently, they were driven from Ndaj into exile, eventually settling in Kuwait. It’s a fascinating story and perhaps Miss Lazarus would have agreed. Warring factions and power struggles aren’t unique to Islam. For centuries, bitter rivalries between the monarchical governments of Europe tormented the continent with near non-stop bloodshed.… Keep Reading
