Tom Cotton Takes The Initiative For Immigration Patriots Against Pro-Amnesty Uniparty

As federal negotiations between the White House and the Senate descend into the high-pressure environment of a government shutdown, the contributions of Arkansas Republican Senator Tom Cotton have been recognized by pro-America immigration patriots as a decisive presence in blocking the attempted amnesty of up to a million DACA illegal aliens. Senator Cotton, viewed by some as taking up the former mantle of now-Attorney General Jeff Sessions in serving as the voice of American citizens concerned about mass immigration and illegal alien crime-was described by sources familiar with the matter as making the insistence that any potential designation of legal… Keep Reading

Stephen Miller Demands Passage Of RAISE Act As Prerequisite For Any DACA Deal

Senior Advisor to the President Stephen Miller has outlined the administration’s preconditions for any deal regarding minors affected by Trump’s decision to rescind DACA, according to a report by McClatchy. Miller called for switching to a merit-based immigration system, eliminating protections for unaccompanied illegal alien children, increasing the numbers of immigration enforcement officials, raising visa fees, and implementing e-verify, in a document which endorses most of the core tenets of the RAISE Act, which is also backed by the administration. Overall, there are roughly a dozen proposals mentioned in the list. Keep Reading

Amid Soaring Asylum Requests, House Bill Would Give Amnesty To Venezuelan Illegals

A bipartisan bill introduced in the House of Representatives on Wednesday would give Venezuelan refugees and illegal immigrants a path to legal residency and eventual citizenship in the United States. The bill, called the Venezuelan Refugee Assistance Act, was introduced by Carlos Curbelo (R-FL) and Darren Soto (D-FL). The bill was cosponsored by Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL). “For over a decade, thousands of Venezuelans were forced to flee the brutal Chavez dictatorship, and now, the situation has not improved under his hand-picked successor, Nicolas Maduro,” Curbelo said, citing the socialist government’s political violence. “This bill will allow Venezuelan nationals… Keep Reading

Rep. Steve King Threatens Trump With Lawsuit Over Amnesty Flip-Flop

President Trump is wavering on many key campaign promises, including his call to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program that permits illegal immigrants who have been in America since they were children to stay in the country without prosecution. This is not acceptable for Rep. Steve King (R-IA), who says that a lawsuit may be in order if Trump refuses to enforce immigration laws. “Is [Trump] going to force us to go back to court again?” King asked in an interview with the Daily Caller. King went on to say, “It is impossible to return the respect… Keep Reading

The Problem With Amnesty, Isn’t Amnesty

A couple weeks ago, President Obama announced that he would disregard the Constitutional process and grant executive amnesty to over five million illegal immigrants living in the states, surprising exactly no one. Equally predictable was the conservative uproar, and the ensuing accusations of racism from the Left. Much of the conservative reaction rightly centered on President Obama’s executive end-around on Congress, but the back and forth of “you’re buying votes with American jobs!” and “you’re a racist!” are again saturating politics the way Kirk Cameron saturates Christian filmmaking. Unfortunately, the bottom line of the immigration problem is often lost behind… Keep Reading
