Shameless Libertarian Rep Offers To Shave Unsightly Body Hair For Hurricane Relief

One of the few Libertarian elected officials is threatening to bare all and wax his body, for a good cause. New Hampshire State Rep. Joseph Stallcop, who switched from the Democratic Party to the Libertarian Party last year, has offered to wax all the unsightly hair from his body if he can raise $50,000 for Hurricane Harvey victims. “At the moment I knew … not even as someone who has a more public presence who could get more awareness, but just as a person who really wanted to help, I had to do something,” Stallcop said in an interview with… Keep Reading

Antifa Are The Globalists’ Shock Troops: Here’s How Trump Can Stop Them

The majority of Americans want to believe that America can, as President Donald Trump has stated many times, “come together” and “unite.” We want to believe that Americans of all identities and political leanings can find this mythical common ground and just get along with each other. We want to believe that the violence and bloodshed that seems to accompany every political event in modern America is some sort of aberration of history, and next week we are going to snap out of this trance, lay down our sticks and shields and bear mace and riot helmets, and once again… Keep Reading

Blood And Language: Reinventing The Special Relationship

“Let the Circumstances of Language; Religion and Blood have their Natural and Full Effect.” – John Adams, 2nd President of the United States The United States and the United Kingdom share a common history, culture, and tongue. To this day, the veins of 39 million Americans are estimated to flow with English, Welsh, and Scottish blood. That’s 12 percent of the population, and serves as the 3rd largest ethnic group in the nation. If you add the 36 million Irish descendants to that list, you have the single largest ethnic group in the United States. Sadly, however, despite being a former… Keep Reading

Manufactured Misogyny: Why You Should Still Ask For Her Hand In Marriage

Recently, the wildly out-of-touch rag, Cosmopolitan released an article on why men should stop asking their girlfriend’s fathers their permission to marry their daughter. The article claimed, “…those of us who want a more egalitarian society must take a hard look at how wedding rituals undermine that goal.” The author claims that much of what gets pegged as romance in today’s society is actually undercover sexism. She also claims that the only thing more sexist than asking for a woman’s hand in marriage is for a woman to take her husband’s last name. Before I get into how truly incorrect the author… Keep Reading

Revive The Tea Party!

In the age of Trump, the Right has been divided into two sides. On one side, we have the alt-right and alt-lite which seeks to defend Western Civilization by any means necessary. While I generally agree with these folks that Western principles should be preserved, I disagree strongly with their very tactics, such as play disruption and embracing racism. I personally feel that the best way to spread ideas is to actually hold discussions, not brawls. As seen in the aftermath of Charlottesville, these extremist forces have not succeeded in building sympathy for their cause as their stunt only incited more… Keep Reading

Grant Statehood To America’s Core Cities

The battle over sanctuary cities is not just a matter of pitting some cities against federal policy. The conflict is also pitting cities against state governments. More than 30 states have moved with varying degrees of success to rein in so-called sanctuary cities that have pledged to not assist federal agents with rounding up and prosecuting suspected illegal immigrants. So far, though, Texas appears to have taken the biggest step with new legislation that “requires local law enforcement agents to honor requests by federal immigration agents to detain jailed immigrants suspected of being in the country without proper documentation. It… Keep Reading

Google Issues Ultimatum To The Liberty Conservative: Censor Your Content Or Lose All Ad Revenue!

Yesterday morning, we received a very bizarre letter from Google issuing us an ultimatum. Either we were to remove a particular article or see all of our ad revenues choked off in an instant. This is the newest method that Big Brother is using to enforce thought control. Former Liberty Conservative contributor James Allsup was involved in the Charlottesville, VA “Unite the Right” rally-turned-riot that served as the catalyst for this drive for Orwellian censorship. Although the article itself contained no offensive content (it was merely distinguishing the many differences between the alt-right and literal Nazis), just the fact that… Keep Reading

Sen. Rand Paul Calls For An End To The Longest War In American History

For well over a decade and a half, the United States military has occupied the Middle Eastern country of Afghanistan. It began in the aftermath of the unprecedented terrorist attacks of Sept. 11th, 2001. With terrorists bringing down the Twin Towers and striking the Pentagon, then-President George W. Bush sought to strike back. But what started as an invasion for the purpose of vengeance has evolved into an endless occupation without realistic goals. Our strike against terrorists to ensure these attacks would never happen again changed into a rebuilding effort, one dedicated to forcing democracy on an undemocratic region and… Keep Reading

Berkeley Mayor Calls For University To Censor Milo By Crushing ‘Free Speech Week’

Milo Yiannopoulos, controversial conservative provocateur, literally caused a riot when he tried to speak at UC-Berkeley earlier this year. The university responded with a newfound respect for the rights of Yiannopoulos and his supporters, who are organizing “Free Speech Week” next month, but that has Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguin fighting mad. Arreguin, a radical leftist, reportedly told law enforcement personnel to stand down and refuse to keep the peace as political skirmishes flared up in the streets throughout the year. He is attempting to use the violence caused as a direct result of his own irresponsible and criminal decisions as… Keep Reading

Steve Bannon Breaks With Trump, Supports GOP Firebrand Roy Moore In Alabama Senate Race

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon may have left his post earlier this month, but he is not riding off quietly into the sunset. Immediately reassuming his post as head of Breitbart News, Bannon is unafraid to question his former boss or even contradict his decisions. This divide is on full display with Bannon’s support of Roy Moore in the U.S. Senate run-off election in Alabama against Trump’s pick, Luther Strange. “During a closed-door meeting with powerful conservatives in Washington last week, Bannon declared that he’s supporting former state Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore over Trump-endorsed incumbent Sen. Lincoln Or Lee? What Would Hitler Say?

“Some crazy person just compared President Abraham Lincoln to Hitler. Yes, this just happened on CNN and Brooke Baldwin’s reaction was perfect.” So scribbled one Ricky Davila on social media. Indeed, an elderly Southern gentleman had ventured that President Lincoln, not General Lee, murdered civilians, a point even a Court historian and a Lincoln idolater like Doris Kearns Goodwin would concede. While the Argument From Hitler is seldom a good one, Ms. Baldwin’s response was way worse. Were she an honest purveyor of news and knowledge; anchor-activist Baldwin would have sought the facts. Instead, she pulled faces, so the viewer… Keep Reading

CIA Used Diplomatic Flights As Cover To Arm Terrorists In Middle East

The U.S. government, aided by Saudi Arabia, has been staging phony diplomatic flights in order to smuggle weapons to terror groups. A Bulgarian reporter uncovered that at least 350 flights were used for these purposes, resulting in $1 billion worth of illicit weapons being funneled into the hands of terrorists. Azerbaijan’s state-run Silk Way Airlines were used to transport these weapons with the knowledge of government officials. Labeled diplomatic so the flights would not be searched, the culprits were moving weapons largely purchased from Eastern Europe. The CIA has been assisting Syrian terrorists in this manner as they attempt to… Keep Reading

Michael Chabon Chastises Jews Who Support Trump

An enviable quote from Ernest Hemingway was that writers must put their ideology and positions on hold when sitting down at the typewriter. Otherwise, one was violating the craft. Hemingway was referring to a specific genre of writing; that of fiction. But balanced against this was George Orwell, who, with two exceptions, Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty-Four, was more an essayist than a novelist. For him, the starting point of any non-fiction piece derived from a sense of outrage: “When I sit down to write…I do not say to myself, ‘I’m going to produce a work of art.’ I write… Keep Reading

Why Do Presidents Need To Visit National Disaster Sites?

Whenever a natural disaster occurs, there seems to be this unanimous idea that the President of the United States should tour the disaster site. Whether it be the site of a horrific hurricane or a terrible tornado, the chief executive of the country is expected by the media and political pundits to make a visit. If the President visits too soon or takes too long, the decision is then thoroughly criticized. Why does it matter? The problem here is two fold. First, it feeds the notion that localities are dependent upon the federal government. Does Texas need the federal government… Keep Reading

Southern Secession Was One Thing — And The War To Prevent It Was Another

There’s an old saying that “he who distinguishes well teaches well.” In other words, if one’s going to talk about an important subject, one should be able to define his terms and tell the difference between two things that are not the same. This wisdom, unfortunately, is rarely embraced by modern pundits arguing about the causes of the American Civil War. A typical example can be found in this article at the Huffington Post in which the author opines: “This discussion [over the causes of the war] has led some people to question if the Confederacy, and therefore the Civil… Keep Reading

Why Decentralized Militias Matter

In 1852, Abraham Lincoln gave a speech in Springfield, Illinois in which he talked about the attempts at required militia training. He described how much of a joke the citizens made of any attempt at mandatory militia training. “No man,” Lincoln said, citing the rules, “is to wear more than five pounds of cod-fish for epaulets, or more than thirty yards of bologna sausages for a sash; and no two men are to dress alike, and if any two should dress alike the one that dresses most alike is to be fined.” He also described the militia figure of “our… Keep Reading

“Race Realism” Is A Dead End

Progressives like to call libertarians and conservatives ″racist.″ In most cases, this is an empty attack. Real libertarians and true conservatives judge people on their individual faults and merits. How The Libertarian Party’s Partisan Politics Hurts Libertarianism

If you speak to any political activist operating outside of the two-party mainstream, a common point mentioned is how party politics compromises principles. Republicans often sacrifice conservative principles to advance the party elite. Although individuals such as House Speaker Paul Ryan or Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell are considered leaders in the Republican Party, conservative activists generally do not consider them standard bearers of their cause. Case in point is the failure to legitimately repeal Obamacare. The same is said for many liberals and progressives in terms of the Democratic Party. Instead of nominating someone more devout to their cause… Keep Reading

“Blaxicans” And Other Reinvented Americans: An Unlikely Guide To Preserving America’s Culture

Rodriguez, the son of Mexican parents, asserts that racial terms such as “white” and “black” are irrelevant now due to race-mixing in America. But perhaps the most interesting part of the essay is when Rodriguez suggests that “instead of adopting the Canadian model of multiculturalism, America might begin to imagine the Mexican alternative–that of a mestizaje society.” In this statement, Rodriguez implies that Mexico’s treatment of separate races is better than the multiculturalist ideas of Canada. It is evident that the “mestizaje society” Rodriguez speaks of may… Keep Reading
