Trump, Bannon Push Back Against McMaster’s Proposed Afghanistan Troop Surge

President Donald Trump has refused to sign off on a proposal by National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster to increase the U.S. military presence in Afghanistan, according to a report by Politico‘s Susan Glasser. According to Glasser, a “heated debate” arose, with McMaster and Secretary of Defense James Mattis on one side, and the President and his Chief Strategist Steve Bannon on the other, which was described by senior officials present as a “s*** show”. The President was reportedly “dissatisfied” with the proposal, which resulted in him “sending it back to his national security team demanding more work”. He later told reporters, “I want to find out why we’ve been [in Afghanistan] for 17 years.” Keep Reading

National Review Cuckservative David French Attacks “Left And White”

“But it’s easy to call out the Left. Here’s where things get more uncomfortable. Conservatives still have to face the disgusting fact that Steve Bannon is in the president’s inner circle, and Bannon proudly labeled his website, Breitbart, “the platform for the alt-right.” That “platform” compiled massive page-view numbers while publishing dreck that excused the alt-right as little more than countercultural trolls, while writers and journalists (like me, my wife, and many others) found themselves subjected to vicious campaigns of hate, threats, and abuse when we wrote or spoke critically of Trump,” National Review editor David French wrote in an op-ed last month. With these words, the avid “NeverTrumper” French describes the “radicalization” on the current Right caused by the presidency of Donald Trump. Although French’s tirade tries to look even-handed, it hardly lays a glove on the anti-Trump Left. In a pro forma way, it goes after Maxine Waters, black congresswoman from Los Angeles, who it is suggested may be a bit unsavory, and complains that the Democratic… Keep Reading

Trumpocalypse In The Making?: The President Weighs Axing Four Key Aides

President Donald Trump is getting restless. His agenda has stalled, his approval rating is cratering, and the Washington D.C. establishment won’t play ball. A report has indicated a serious shake-up is likely on its way, and many heads may roll. “The advice he’s getting is to go big — that he has nothing to lose,” a source close to Trump said, according to an Axios report. “The question now is how big and how bold. I’m not sure he knows the answer to that yet.” The report claims that possible Trump administration officials in line to receive the axe include Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, chief strategist Steve Bannon, counsel Don McGahn, and press secretary Sean Spicer, but everything is up for grabs. Trump is supposedly ready for a big change, and that means nobody is safe. “He’s frustrated, and angry at everyone,” one of Trump’s confidants said. Keep Reading

White House Nationalists Strike Back Against Suspected Globalist Plant H.R. McMaster

Reports of President Trump’s disillusionment with White House national security advisor H.R McMaster have led nationalists and populists within the administration to push to reclaim lost influence over foreign affairs, unnamed White House sources claimed this week. President Trump’s frustrations with his national security advisor–the replacement of the iconoclastic Michael Flynn–were said to have reached a boiling point yesterday morning, with the President screaming at McMaster over his attempts to override President Trump and conduct diplomacy as if he were the Commander-in-Chief. McMaster supposedly guaranteed South Korea that the United States would pay for a complicated missile defense system for the Pacific nation. Trump himself had raised that prospect into question at an earlier date, as he appeared skeptical over the idea of giving billions of dollars to one of the world’s most highly developed and richest countries. McMaster earlier sought to neutralize the influence of White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon by arranging his removal from the National Security Council. This accomplished a well-known objective of neoconservatives and other… Keep Reading

“Resign Now!”: Roger Stone Slams Steve Bannon For Incompetence, Lack Of Fashion Sense

Trump’s long-time confidant, Roger Stone is not happy with what is going on in his great friend’s administration. A self-described libertarian, Stone is angry that the Trump administration is swaying from its “America First” mandate. He has isolated a peculiar target for his ire: White House chief strategist Steve Bannon. Bannon is seen as the primary voice for nationalism within the Trump administration, but his work has not pleased Stone. Stone went on a Twitter rampage against the publisher turned political oracle last week criticizing his organizational ability, his lack of competency, his poor dressing ability, and claiming he is apart of the problem for his inability to keep Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner at bay. “@StevenKBannon Resign Now! You refuse to confront @jaredkushner – u (sic) are part of the problem not part of the solution,” Stone said in a May 5 Tweet. Stone followed it up by saying, “@BreitbartNews perhaps if poorly dressed @StevenKBannon got off his dead, disorganized incompetent ass.” Keep Reading

Inside The War Room: Steve Bannon’s White Board Reveals Trump’s Ambitious Agenda

President Trump’s chief strategist Steve Bannon posed for a photo op yesterday with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach in his infamous war room inside the White House. Giving a slight glimpse into how the White House is run behind the scenes, Bannon’s white board can be viewed in the background of the picture. Containing many ambitious goals pertaining to immigration in partial view, the white board makes it clear that border security is the focal point of Bannon’s work. Immigration pledges include tripling the number of ICE enforcement agents, suspending the Syrian refugee resettlement program, ending the controversial ‘catch-and-release’ policy, and hiring 5,000 more border patrol agents. Tasks that have been achieved were checkmarked while other promises have yet to be fulfilled. There are more pledges that were obfuscated from view in the picture, including an entire section related to health care that was barely visible in the shot. Reports regarding Bannon’s influence on President Trump have conflicted in recent weeks. It was believed that Bannon was the dog house after… Keep Reading

DeMint’s Last Stand: Conservative Lawmakers Rally Behind The Heritage Foundation President

Former Sen. Jim DeMint is hanging by a thread at the Heritage Foundation right now. It has been reported that he is likely to be ousted as President of the conservative think-tank in the days to come, but not if the most conservative legislators in Washington D.C. have anything to say about it! Republican Study Committee Chairman Mark Walker and Utah Sen. Mike Lee reportedly penned a glowing letter to DeMint hailing his many achievements for the conservative movement. It has already been endorsed by over two dozen House and Senate Republicans, including Freedom Caucus Chair Mark Meadows, House Financial Services Committee Chair Jeb Hensarling, House Ways and Means Committee Chair Kevin Brady, and 2016 presidential candidates Sen. Rand Paul, Sen. Ted Cruz and Sen. Marco Rubio. The letter has yet to be released to the public, and even more Republican lawmakers are expected to sign on. “For the last two decades, you have served faithfully as a leading advocate for America at its best,” the letter reads. “You have consistently promoted our… Keep Reading

Heritage Foundation Shake-Up: Jim DeMint Out, Steve Bannon In?

A rumored shake-up at the Heritage Foundation has conservatives on high alert. Former Sen. Jim DeMint, a champion for conservative values while in the legislature, is expected to lose his post as Heritage President. A name floated as his potential replacement is White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, the controversial paleoconservative who previously served as CEO of Breitbart News. Adding more fuel to the fire was an exchange between FOX News journalist Chris Wallace and Heritage Action CEO Michael Needham this morning. When pressed by Wallace, Needham refused to deny rumors that Bannon will be the next Heritage leader. “There are a lot of stories out that Jim DeMint, the head of the Heritage Foundation, is going to be out and that Steve Bannon may become the new head, that this is going to be his safety net as he is forced out of the White House,” Wallace asked Needham on a “Fox News Sunday” broadcast. “What can you tell us?” Needham refused to give a straight answer to… Keep Reading

REPORT: Steve Bannon Didn’t Oppose Syria Strike; Maintains Distance From Right-Wing Media

White House chief strategist Steve Bannon has been called a right-wing firebrand, a tea party favorite, and even a white nationalist for his role in creating the Trump presidency. However, Bannon’s true nature is shaping up to be much different than the hype if recent reports are to be believed. In a New York Magazine article, journalist Olivia Nuzzi gave a glimpse to a different side of Bannon than what is usually portrayed by the media. She portrays Bannon as a man who has expended very little of his political capital to get nationalist allies into key White House positions, and has grown distant to the right-wing media outlets seeking his guidance. “He has a lot of friends out on the internet who love him, but we are all still waiting for him to unleash the beast,” said Charles Johnson, editor-in-chief of GotNews.com. Another source close to the President has even disputed reports that Bannon pushed back against the controversial and unauthorized strikes in Syria against Bashir al-Assad. “He… Keep Reading

Steve Bannon: McMaster Wants a ‘New Iraq War’ In Syria

The Trump administration is weighing different options regarding Syria at the present moment after a chemical weapons attack widely attributed to the Assad regime. The biggest chasm has developed between White House chief strategist Steve Bannon and National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster over whether or not to start a ground war in the region. According to a Bloomberg View report, McMaster is advocating a full-scale invasion of Syria, with 50,000 ground troops. Conservative journalist Mike Cernovich had previously warned that McMaster, in league with the disgraced former CIA Director David Petraeus, was pushing for sending as many as 150,000 conventional forces to Syria. Bannon believes that this would create a “new Iraq war” and has derided McMaster to his colleagues for his proposal. Keep Reading

Neocon Elliott Abrams To Trump: Remove Steve Bannon From White House!

The neoconservatives are once again emboldened after Trump’s military strike on Syria last week. Former George W. Bush advisor Elliott Abrams is offering some unsolicited advice for President Trump: Dump Steve Bannon as chief political strategist. “He’s not a good influence on the president,” Abrams said to a reporter during a Politico interview. He apparently smiled ear-to-ear while discussing the prospects of Bannon’s removal. Furthermore, he is a firm proponent of Jared Kushner’s increased influence in the White House. Kushner is Trump’s son-in-law and the head of the new White House Office of American Innovation. Keep Reading

Trump Strategist Steve Bannon Abandons Tea Party Roots, Criticizes Freedom Caucus For Health Care Stand

After the Freedom Caucus stopped House Majority Speaker Paul Ryan’s health care bill from even receiving a floor vote, conservatives and libertarians were elated, but serious consequences may be on the way if White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon’s words are any indicator. Conservatives and libertarians hoping their health care victory would result in Trump embracing their agenda have reason to be concerned. Some very choice words made by White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon regarding the Freedom Caucus to the mainstream media cast serious doubt on the likelihood of an alliance forming between limited government advocates and the White House. Top Dems Denounce Alleged Bigot Bannon, Endorse Proven Bigot Ellison

When President-elect Donald J. Trump appointed Stephen Bannon, alleged anti-Semite, as White House chief strategist, Democrats and some Republicans were outraged. Now, those very same Democrats are voicing support for Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), verifiable anti-Semite, to become DNC Chair. In November, Bannon was selected to fill the role of White House chief strategist and senior counselor to Trump. Bannon previously served as a Naval officer, investment banker for Goldman Sachs, and movie producer before becoming head of Breitbart News, a self-declared ‘platform for the alt-right’, in 2012. Under Bannon’s leadership, Breitbart has actively promoted Trump and published several allegedly racist and anti-Semitic stories. In August, Bannon left Breitbart to join the Trump campaign as its CEO. The Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center have condemned Bannon’s selection because of his perceived bigotry and anti-semitism. Though these left-leaning groups castigated Bannon, the Zionist Organization of America as well as former Breitbart Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro, an Orthodox Jew, came to his defense against the claims of anti-semitism. Shapiro,… Keep Reading
