Lions, And Tigers, And Guns, Oh My…

Gun rights are one of the most defining issues for many conservatives. It isn’t my top issue, due to my devotion to the First Amendment; but, the Second Amendment rights to many are even more sacred than their right to freely speak, practice their faith, and slam politicians. Nevertheless, the way you perceive your gun rights links back to one basic principal: human’s natural survival instinct. Keep Reading

Trump Could Be The Most Pro-Gun President In History

It’s impossible to overstate the importance of the election of Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton in last week’s presidential election when it comes to the Second Amendment. The Constitutional right to keep and bear arms dodged a bullet when Hillary was defeated. Clinton’s views on gun rights are well known; she supports an “Assault Weapons” ban, opposes the Heller v D.C. decision, wants to repeal the immunity firearms manufacturers have when a criminal misuses their produts, wants to set up a federal registry of all handguns, and supports closing loopholes that don’t exist. If Hillary had won, the Supreme Court would have been stacked against gun rights for a generation. The push to ratify the UN Arms Trade Treaty would have picked up steam, and she certainly would have used all executive power available to limit Americans’ right to defend themselves. Keep Reading

In The Wake Of Orlando: What Gun Laws Actually Make Sense?

The recent shooting in the Orlando, Florida LGBT nightclub was tragic and heartbreaking, not just for the LGBT community, but for anyone in America who felt solidarity and actually gave a damn. But as usual, the afterglow of tragedy was swiftly upheaved and manipulated for political argumentation – never mind the fact that the blood hadn’t even cooled; the suits in Washington felt it necessary to stand on the graves as soapboxes and promulgate yet another anti-gun push. President Obama stated that same day during his press conference what a shame it was that the “type” of gun used in the shooting was so easily, legally accessible. The “type” of gun in this case was an AR-15, which, if one actually knows knows a thing or two about guns other than the fact that they shoot bullets, will be recognized right away as a semi-automatic weapon – the same as a common handgun. But the AR-15 is bigger and scarier-looking, and so the government mouthpieces in the media can count… Keep Reading

Muskets, Militia And The Second Amendment

“We need to do this every day of the week and just really brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way.” – Eric Holder, former U.S. Attorney General   There has been a Gun-Free Zone shooting every day of President Barack Obama’s second term. It has become yet another hallmark of Omerica. And now he’s calling for national “gun safety laws” to stop “gun violence” in America. Many Politicians and pundits point to “assault rifles” and “high-capacity magazines” and insist they don’t belong in a civilized society. Back in the 1970s, they said the same thing about “Saturday Night Specials” in New York City. Gun control zealots will target firearms whether they carry 30 rounds or 5 bullets in a snub-nose revolver. And they’ll come up with scary names. Then they trot out the nonsense statistics and scenarios. “You have a greater chance of having a gun taken and used against you than if you don’t have a gun.” Really? Well, what chance do we have to… Keep Reading
