Rand Paul Backs Trump On Sessions: “He Should Have Been More Supportive Of The President”

During a Thursday interview on Fox & Friends, a TV show popular with President Donald Trump, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) attempted to repair his reportedly fraught relationship with President Donald Trump. Sen. Paul was initially asked by host Brian Kilmeade about his phone conversation with President Trump last night. “We have a good rapport,” Paul replied. “He understands where I am – that I am really probably the most adamant that we should repeal Obamacare.” Asked about remarks made by Trump to the New York Times about Jeff Sessions’ decision to recuse himself from the ongoing Russia investigation, Paul firmly backed the President. “I think the President has a point, because the thing is here is that if everyone is going to recuse themselves just for incidental contact, I don’t think you get really good governance,” Paul said. “I think Jeff Sessions’ contact with Russians was incidental in the usual duties of being in the Senate.” “He should have stayed in the fray and should have been more supportive of… Keep Reading

The Donald Trump Jr. “Scandal” Highlights The Imminent Decline Of The Mainstream Media

I haven’t wanted to write about the whole Donald Trump Jr. thing because the story is utter crap, but here I find myself writing about a crap story with nothing underpinning it but crap piled upon layer after layer of crap. The Democratic partisans, enraged liberals, and their lapdogs in the mainstream media have been salivating over this particular fake news story, which says more about them than it does about Trump Jr. and his father’s administration. Here’s something worth noting that won’t get brought up by MSNBC or CNN or the New York Times: Famed liberal stalwart Alan Dershowitz even says that the Trump Jr. story is crap. You may now be asking yourself, “Okay, it might be crap, but how is it fake news? Even Trump Jr. admitted to his own culpability by releasing his e-mails, doesn’t that mean it’s a true story?” Sure, I don’t dispute that a meeting occurred between Trump Jr. and some sleazy Russian lawyer and her sleazy Russian compatriots. It’s not fake… Keep Reading

Uncuckable: Tucker Carlson Takes Down Russia Sensationalist And Neocon Shill In Back-to-Back Shows

Fox News host and ratings kingpin Tucker Carlson orchestrated a stunning takedown of two neoconservative pundits on back-to-back nights over the topic of Russia. He debated FOX News contributor Ralph Peters and Council on Foreign Relations fellow Max Boot this week. Both Tucker Carlson Tonight guests argued successively that Russia represented an existential national security threat to the United States–one even more dangerous than that of the Islamic State–with Boot attesting the leftist conspiracy theory that Russia had stolen the 2016 US Election. Peters in particular proved beholden to grandiose moral equivocations. He informed Carlson that he “sounded like Charles Lindbergh in 1938 saying Hitler hasn’t attacked us” for proposing that the United States cooperate with the world’s second strongest military power to destroy ISIS. While perhaps Peters’ Hitler equivocation would resonate with the Trump-era left–with its frequent proclivities for using Hitler and Nazi comparisons at the slightest of whims–this tired and intellectually unoriginal accusation increasingly rings dry and hollow with right-leaning Americans. In this confused day and age dominated by… Keep Reading

Democrats Continue Peddling False Information Deliberately

While Democrats feverishly attempt to link the Trump campaign with Russia, there is actual proof that the Clinton campaign had its own unsavory ties to Russia by peddling disinformation planted by Moscow. The disinformation in question concerns sources in Russia telling a former British spy named Christopher Steele that the Trump campaign aided the effort of Russia to hack Clinton campaign computers. Steele had his own ties to the Clinton campaign when researching the charges via “information” given to him by Russian sources. A Clinton donor paid for Steele’s researches via Fusion GPS, a company that gathers partisan information for Democrats to use against the GOP. After receiving the dossier, Fusion handed it immediately over to Democrats and the mainstream media. The Clinton campaign and Democrats peddled the supposed criminal activities their opponents engaged in with help from the Kremlin that resulted in Trump’s victory. Keep Reading

Rep. Amash: “We Deserve Answers” On “Serious & Disturbing” Donald Trump Jr. Emails

While most conservative and libertarian lawmakers have laughed off the Democrats’ obsession with Russia and reports of Donald Trump Jr’s communications with a Russian attorney, there is one clear exception in the House: Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI). Amash has frequently criticized the President on many issues, and addressed the controversy regarding Donald Trump Jr. early this morning with three separate Tweets. “The implications of the email thread are serious & disturbing. We deserve answers, not an ever-changing story. If there’s more, tell us now,” Amash wrote in a Tweet, echoing the concerns of prominent Democrats and Neocons. Donald Trump Jr. was implicated this for meeting a Russian lawyer who alleged to have damaging information about the Hillary Clinton prior to last year’s election. Trump Jr. downplayed this meeting as mere opposition research, but Amash is apparently not buying it. Keep Reading

By Meeting With Putin, President Trump Shows Democrats How Diplomacy Is Done

It has been a disappointing week for Democratic opponents of President Trump. After following up his Twitter war against the mainstream media with a speech in Poland proclaiming the supremacy of the West, Trump met with Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier today for a diplomatic visit in Germany that went swimmingly for all parties. “President Putin and I are discussing various things, and I think it is going very well. We’ve had some very very good talks. We’re going to have a talk now, and obviously that will continue, but we look forward to a lot of very positive things happening for Russia, for the United States, and for everybody concerned. It is an honor to be with you,” Trump said during the meeting. Speaking through a translator, Putin expressed his concern about deteriorating diplomatic relations with America. He said that although the world leaders had “several times talked over the phone, including on some very important bilateral and international issues,” that was “obviously not enough” moving forward. Rex Tillerson: US Presence To Be Limited In Syria, Fate Of Assad “Now Up To Russia”

The Trump administration has given a variety of mixed messages regarding foreign affairs, with different cabinet members and key advisors contradicting each other on an almost daily basis. However, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has remained constantly in favor of normalizing Russian relations and de-escalating tensions with Syria. He made remarks on Monday that should make all non-interventionists breathe a sigh of relief. Tillerson assured UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres that U.S. policy in Syria would be reduced to “limited tactical goals” and that U.S. forces would not jeopardize the regime of embattled President Bashar al-Assad. Additionally, Tillerson handed off any responsibility for the Syrian government by saying that the fate of Assad is “now up to Russia.” Keep Reading

On Our Soil: The Liquidation Of Juliet Poyntz

To this day, anti-anti-communists from the Cold War period and their tenured academic counterparts scoff at the idea that Soviet communists liquidated their American agents on US soil. While grudgingly admitting that Stalin did carry out wet work against those who dared to oppose him (I’ve heard professors actually defend it), they argue that such actions were exclusively conducted overseas–i.e, Leon Trotsky pickaxed in Mexico or the death-by-torture of loyalist soldier Bob Simile in Spain. But on at least one instance, Stalin used a Soviet assassination squad to undoubtedly kidnap and murder an American agent in New York City for the “crime” of defecting from the spy ring. The victim was Juliet Stuart Poyntz, who spied for the Soviets, but later defected because of Stalin’s Purge Trials. While in Russia, she witnessed firsthand the frame-up and subsequent murder of those she knew to be innocent, and refused to engage in any more espionage work for the Soviets after returning to the United States. On June 3, 1937, a year… Keep Reading

As Sabers Continue To Rattle, Russia Stands With Syria Against Threats Of U.S. Aggression

Although President Trump claimed that his Syria policy was not going to change, the sharp rhetoric from key members of his administration indicate otherwise. Presenting without evidence the usual refrain that Assad was planning a chemical weapons attack this week, the saber-rattling immediately kicked into high gear. “Any further attacks done to the people of Syria will be blamed on Assad, but also on Russia & Iran who support him killing his own people,” United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley said in a Tweet published on Monday. “The United States has identified potential preparations for another chemical weapons attack by the Assad regime that would likely result in the mass murder of civilians, including innocent children,” Press Secretary Sean Spicer said in a prepared statement issued on Monday night. “The activities are similar to preparations the regime made before its April 4, 2017 chemical weapons attack.” One man who is not buying this familiar story is Russian President Vladimir Putin, who stands by Syrian President Bashir al-Assad against ISIS and… Keep Reading

Conservative Optimism Revealed By Ossoff Loss

In his article for The Nation – Jon Ossoff’s Loss Should Be a Lesson to Corporate Democrats – D.D. Guttenplan (is that even a real name? It doesn’t sound like a real name) writes, “To win Democrats need to tell voters what they’re for—and to do that effectively, they need to stop running scared and let progressives, who don’t need focus groups or consultants to know what we’re for, take the lead.” This is standard liberal fare: The problem isn’t that they have bad policies, it’s that they didn’t explain them well enough. Obama was the master of this approach as evidenced here, and Democrats like Congressman Steny Hoyer, and others, followed his lead and continue to do so. It’s a telling window into how they think about their own voters as well as their conservative counterparts. After decades of sermonizing, the Left has decided that the American people are too stupid to understand liberal diatribes and ideas. Or they’ve failed to explain them properly. This is a false… Keep Reading

It Is Time For Trump To Deep-Six The Deep State

We live in interesting times, indeed. Some historians have compared the accidental Roman Emperor Claudius, who reigned over 2000 years ago, with Donald Trump. He was an old man for Roman times and replaced the young, charismatic lunatic in Caligula who was assassinated in office after going mad with power. Claudius was an outsider who was brought into power by the Roman Praetorian Guard who wanted to see political change from the corrupt Augustinian lineage. The Roman establishment had written off the stammering, limping “monster of a man” in Claudius, which is what may have saved his life in the ruthless power struggles of the Roman aristocracy. Claudius played the role of buffoon as a shrewd politician to distract and disarm his critics. Keep Reading

U.S. Navy Fighter Jet Shoots Down Syrian Aircraft After Alleged Bombing Of Kurds

In a statement given by the Department of Defense to various media outlets, the U.S. military confirmed that a US F/A-18E Super Hornet fighter jet had shot down a Syrian SU-22 aircraft, which had allegedly bombed the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces. “The Coalition does not seek to fight Syrian regime, Russian, or pro-regime forces partnered with them, but will not hesitate to defend Coalition or partner forces from any threat,” the Pentagon said. The Syrian Democratic Forces backed the U.S. claim, accusing the Syrian government of having “mounted large-scale attacks using planes, artillery, and tanks” against them. Keep Reading

The War On Trump: A Guide For Conservatives, Libertarians & Liberals

Periodically, America experiences episodes of mass, hysterical contagion. What is “hysterical contagion”? A sociologist explains it as the spread of symptoms of an illness among a group, absent any physiological disease. It provides a way of coping with a situation that cannot be handled with the usual coping mechanism. For example, in 1983, girls in the West Bank fell ill, one after the other. Soon, all the schools and finally the entire community was engulfed, affected with the same symptoms. Arab doctors implicated the Israelis. But of course. The Israeli occupation had poisoned the girls by gas to reduce their fertility. When real doctors arrived on the scene to examine the neurotics; the girls were pronounced physically healthy. The frenzied behavior known as mass hysteria or hysterical contagion is well documented. The Trump-Russia “collusion,” “obstruction of justice” probe qualifies, with an exception: This particular form of mass madness involves a meme, a story-line, rather than the physical symptoms observed in the West Bank. Rumor recounted as fact for which… Keep Reading

Trump Fends Off “Showboat” Comey And The Federal Zombies

He pleaded the case of a loyal soldier, rather than forsake retired US Army lieutenant general Michael Flynn to the mercies of FBI director James Comey. And he asked for loyalty from the congenitally disloyal. You’ll agree: President Donald Trump is being indicted on technicalities and on personal style. Distill the president’s unremarkable actions, subject to a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing, and it becomes clear that the establishment—for sensible people outside the beltway have dissociated from the Russia-collusion phantasmagoria—is indicting him on the plain, impolitic speech that catapulted Donald Trump from candidate to president. Trump is “aggressive and oblivious to the rules of engagement,” fumed CNN’s sibilant Chris Cillizza, formerly of the Washington Post. Correct. But was the language of combat you deployed, Mr. Cillizza, a Freudian slip? Keep Reading

Why The Jeff Sessions Hearing Was a Complete Waste Of Time

Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ hearing before the Senate intelligence committee was a complete waste of time. All Sessions did was reiterate the same talking points that the White House has been conjuring up for months. Other than that, much of the hearing was a confirmation of former FBI Director James Comey’s claims last week, and Sessions’s repetitive defense of Trump’s firing of Comey. Generally, there was no new information that pushed forward the Trump-Russia investigation. Perhaps the only information divulged quasi-relevance was Sessions’s confirmation of Comey’s private talk with Trump and his concern about being left alone with the president. While Sessions did confirm that Trump had a private meeting with Comey, this information does not bring the Trump-Russia investigation forward. Of course, virtually everyone has heard what Trump’s words to Comey were in the meeting last week, but nothing that was said qualifies as illegal or unconstitutional. While an argument may be made about Trump’s behavior and unethical tendencies, that argument cannot be made for impeachment. Simply put,… Keep Reading

Paul, Lee Only Senators To Stand With Trump Administration On Russia Sanctions

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) were the only Senators in either party to support the Trump administration’s position on Russia sanctions on Wednesday. Although the White House has yet to take an official position on the bill, their displeasure with it is clear. It is said that the administration’s objection to the Senate bill was principally grounded in the fact it prevents the President negotiating any downgrade in sanctions without the approval of Congress. President Trump, who often emphasizes his negotiating skills, was no doubt disappointed about having this issue taken out of his hands. This was further emphasized by the fact that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told the Senate, “what I wouldn’t want to do is close the channels off”, and Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee added that the administration believed the “existing executive branch sanctions regime” was sufficient. The State Department also made clear its intention “to look for areas in which both parties can work together”, such as working “together to fight… Keep Reading

Ivanka Pushes President Trump To Hire Trump-Hater John McCain’s Wife

Cindy McCain, the wife of Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), is joining Trump’s State Department as the “U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Human Rights”, according to a report by The Daily Beast. Her appointment was pushed by Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, who had been impressed by Cindy’s work on humanitarian issues, which Ivanka is focusing on as part of her role as Assistant to the President. This demonstrates the sheer level of influence Ivanka continues to wield over her father. As a Manhattan socialite, Ivanka is deeply involved with a plethora of metropolitan liberal causes, which appear to be far removed from the concerns of Trump’s disgruntled, working class base. So far, she has sought to push the administration to the left on the environment, feminism, parental leave, refugees, and health care. Keep Reading

Rand Paul Hammers Democrats: Senate Russia Hearings Are “All For Show”, “Political Theater”

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) strongly defended the administration and criticized the Senate Intelligence Committee’s ongoing investigation of the Trump’s administration’s ties to Russia during a Monday interview with Jake Tapper on CNN. “I still think that we’ve got a Special Counsel, let them do their job. The rest is all for show. This is political theater. Really, those committees aren’t getting anywhere, if there was really anything done wrong, it’ll come out of the Special Counsel and my suspicion is that very little of anything will come out of there. There may be some people that didn’t file their paperwork properly or didn’t file to be registered as foreign agents, but I kind of doubt there’s going to be anything.” Paul went on to describe Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who is set to testify before the committee today, as a “hardliner on Russia” and that it was “sort of crazy” to allege that Sessions had any ties to the Russian government. Paul then derided the committee hearings as little… Keep Reading

Trump Administration Scrambles To Salvage Russian Diplomatic Ties In New Era Of McCarthyism

The Trump administration hoped to normalize relations with Russia after his predecessor’s diplomatic failures reignited a Cold War of sorts, but the sore losers in the Democratic Party are intent upon keeping the countries at odds with each other. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is trying to repair the damage, but it is a tall order. “Today our relationships with Russia are at a very low point so the President asked me to begin a re-engagement process with Russia,” Tillerson said during a diplomatic visit to New Zealand. Tillerson was chosen as Secretary of State partly because of his strong connections to Russia. He was awarded Russia’s Order of Friendship medal in 2013 by President Vladimir Putin personally back when he was CEO of ExxonMobil. If anyone could mend fences at this point, it would be Tillerson. The Anti-Snowden: NSA Leaker Releases Classified Information To Harm President Trump

A recent leak of classified NSA intelligence has prompted comparisons to Edward Snowden’s 2013 heroism, but the two circumstances are entirely different. While Snowden released information to alert the public about systemic criminal wrongdoing, Reality Leigh Winner did her leaking to satisfy a petty, partisan vendetta against President Donald Trump. According to the crime report, Winner was contracted through the Pluribus International Corporation to work at a federal government facility in Georgia for several months. She used her Top Secret clearance to gain illicit access to privileged information, and then released it to The Intercept in an attempt to damage the President. The leaked document reads as follows, “Russian General Staff Main Intelligence Directorate actors … executed cyber espionage operations against a named U.S. company in August 2016, evidently to obtain information on elections-related software and hardware solutions. … The actors likely used data obtained from that operation to … launch a voter registration-themed spear-phishing campaign targeting U.S. local government organizations.” Keep Reading

Rep. Amash Flirts With Conspiracy Theories, Suggests New Investigation Over Trump’s Russian Ties

Suspecting some sort of nefarious cover-up or conspiracy, Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) is looking into investigating President Trump’s ties to Russia after he publicly fired former FBI Director James Comey yesterday. “My staff and I are reviewing legislation to establish an independent commission on Russia. The second paragraph of this letter is bizarre,” Amash said in a May 9 tweet. Amash took umbrage with the following words from Trump’s dismissal letter to Comey. It reads, “While I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation, I nevertheless concur with the judgment of the Department of Justice that you are not able to affectively lead the bureau.” Amash is jumping on the Trump/Russia conspiracy bandwagon just as prominent Democrats are admitting that there is no evidence indicating that any wrongdoing occurred. Presidents Trump & Putin Discuss Syria: Seeking Common Ground, Cooperation

President Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin via phone today about potential solutions to the ongoing Syrian Civil War. The world leaders agreed that the time has come for the destructive and brutal conflict to come to a peaceful conclusion. In the official White House readout of the phone call, the conversation was described as a “very good one, and included the discussion of safe, or de-escalation, zones to achieve lasting peace for humanitarian and many other reasons.” Ongoing cooperation between Russia and the United States with regards to the conflict would represent a break from traditional U.S foreign policy. As a candidate Trump shocked the Republican Party’s foreign policy establishment by resolving to work with Putin on the situation, even referring to anti-Russia hawks as “stupid people.” President Trump resolved to send an official U.S Representative to peace talks between the Syrian government and rebels in Kazakhstan occurring May 3-4. Oliver Stone Educates And Misleads

I recently had the opportunity to watch The Untold History of the United States by Oliver Stone and, as I’m sure was intended, it was a thought-provoking experience. It is for many reasons a masterpiece of documentary filmmaking. The research behind it left no stone unturned and the archival footage included in the ten-part series is awe-inspiring. It is well written and well narrated by Stone. It is thorough and informative and enlightens the viewer to the many unseemly aspects of governance in the greatest nation in the history of mankind. Less thorough and more friendly than Stone’s treatment of the USA is his examination of the Soviet Union which he depicts as a victim, one who heroically struck back with righteous fury against the evil forces of Hitler’s Germany and later against the oppression of western capitalism. Hitler and his Third Reich were indeed evil and crossed every line of decency developed over the centuries to protect the rights of man. The Nazis needed to be destroyed and… Keep Reading

Donald Trump Is No Conman

Since the beginning of his campaign to become President of the United States, Donald Trump has been accused of being a fraud. He is, according to the Left and the Never Trump movement, a conman. One of the most outlandish theories to date has been that he was deliberately self-destructing both himself and the Republican Party to help his old-crone crony, Hillary Clinton. For a time – a short time – I thought there might be something to the theory. I have since reformed myself and come to grips with reality. Not everyone is as smart as I am. The authenticity of his aspirations is unmistakable to the millions who voted for him, but the sincerity of his determination to Drain the Swamp and Make America Great Again is called into question every day by both common folk who vote for anyone with a D next to their name and the professional big mouths of the pundit/propaganda class. Liberalism As a Blind Faith Religion

In the book of Hebrews, chapter eleven verse one, the Bible defines faith as being the substance of hope in things unseen. Those of us who are skeptical of the claims found in supposedly holy texts know that this is only half correct; in addition to hope in things unseen, religious faith is the denial of that which can be seen. The evidence for a godless universe is abundant and has brought us to a day and age in which the concept of a supernatural creator may be dismissed with a quick reference to Occam’s infamous razor: The God Theory is no longer necessary to explain the origin of the universe and its innumerable contents. Religion may be useful to its adherents for a great many things – a moral foundation, community, etc – but as far as answering the biggest questions about our world and the cosmos, it’s been weighed and measured and found wanting. And yet, the blind faith in a personal supreme being persists. The point… Keep Reading

The Deep State Attempts a Coup

Hitler’s 1923 coup attempt, best known as the Beer Hall Putsch, was only a nominal failure. The immediate result was his arrest, trial, and conviction, though his sentence was barely carried out. The long-term effect was to inspire in him the belief that power is best achieved through engagement with the ruling regime and existing democratic apparatus. Ten years later, his goal was accomplished by way of his legitimate but coercive ascendancy to the Chancellorship and the implementation of the Enabling Act. World War II put an end to his ambitions but Hitler’s prowess in actualizing his aspirations within the machinations of the state remains a blueprint for tyranny to this day. Things have changed since then of course, but often only aesthetically and in the arrangement of events; the deep state actors of America’s shadow government have perfected the Fuhrer’s sinister model without the pomp and circumstance and rituals of democratic processes. The faceless spooks of the intelligence community, the unelected career bureaucrats of various departments, and the… Keep Reading

Roy Blunt Is Right To Investigate Russian Ties

On Monday night, General Michael Flynn formally stepped down from his position as National Security Advisor for the Trump administration. One Republican called for a further investigation, and should not be castigated. Michael Flynn had been under fire for weeks from outlets like the Washington Post for speaking to Russia about sanctions before President Donald Trump was inaugurated and lying about it. He issued a letter of resignation and Trump accepted Monday. The reason given for the resignation was that Flynn had given “incomplete information” to Vice President Mike Pence. Not knowing the extent of Flynn’s contact with Russia caused Pence to present ‘alternative facts’ to the media. One Republican, Senator Roy Blunt of Missouri, has called for an ‘exhaustive’ investigation into ties between the Trump administration and Russia. Whether this investigation will be separate from or included in the ongoing investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election has yet to… Keep Reading

Obama Attacks Moscow To Salvage His Legacy

Try as he might to salvage what’s left of his tarnished legacy, President Obama can’t seem to avoid humiliating himself on his way out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Fake News: The Alibi Of Tyrants

A few days ago, Hillary Clinton gave a speech on Capitol Hill to pay homage to outgoing Senator Harry Reid. It should have been a happy occasion; Senator Reid’s tenure in congress has been a blight on our nation for decades, we should celebrate his departure from government. But instead, Mrs. Clinton took it as an opportunity to condemn an outbreak of “fake news” sweeping the nation and she was careful to characterize her concerns as being solely humanitarian. Lives are at risk, she says. Admonitions about humanity aside, Mrs. Clinton and the Democratic Party are, in truth, particularly outraged by fake news for having allegedly cost her the presidency. She and many others claim that the Russian government is directly responsible for the dissemination of fictitious stories that resulted in an undue benefit for Donald Trump. The Russians Made Us Do It

Whenever it came to anything that he knew he shouldn’t have done, the comedian Flip Wilson used to say: “The Devil made me do it.” For the Democrats, it is the Russians who made us do it. More exactly, it is the Russians who made the Democrats lose on November 8. For a variety of reasons, it is particularly odd that the left, of all people, would take to peddling this notion that Donald J. Trump won, or was helped to win, by Vladimir Putin and the Russian government.  In short, far from serving as an indictment of Trump, this narrative reflects poorly on the Democrats. First, if the Russians hacked Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails, as the Democrats swear, it is because they were able to do so.  By now, everyone knows that Clinton—again, while Secretary of State—dispatched tens of thousands of emails, including and especially some that had been marked “classified,” over an unsecured, private server. Clinton compromised the security of every American man, woman, and… Keep Reading

October Surprise Over Syria’s Skies?

You may not have read about this in the mainstream news, but The Wall Street Journal  reported that there was a Russian air strike in June on a CIA-linked base which was a part of a campaign by Russia to pressure Obama to agree to closer cooperation over the Syrian skies, according to U.S. military and intelligence officials.   Four rebels were killed in that attack near the Jordanian border in the attempt to coax Obama to the negotiating table.  Possibly the Russians were upset that the US would not share any intelligence with them, so they may have sent a message with the “accidental” strike of how dangerous that policy was.  Eventually, the Russian strategy worked and both sides had agreed to more cooperation in September between their militaries.  Then in September,  in a tit for tat attack and an attempt to escalate the conflict in which Obama’s Al Qaeda/Saudi Arabia affiliated allies have been losing badly to the Russians and their allies, the Obama administration deliberately struck the known Syrian Army post… Keep Reading

They apparently do not fear the gross excesses of the national security apparatus that we can expect from a Clinton Crime Syndicate that will make Nixon’s misuse of the IRS look like child’s play. They apparently care not a whit about corruption, since there is nothing in Trump’s dubious “Trump University” shenanigans or corporate bankruptcies that come close to the “pay for play” behavior we have substantiated with the Clinton Foundation.   No, the only thing these folks fear is Main Street America rising up with pitchforks and demanding that someone in the Washington-Wall Street Axis at least throw them a few morsels. The Cuban Challenge For All Americans

If we are to open up relations with Cuba we must do so with the intent of bringing the information age to all Cubans. That means insisting the Internet be made available to all Cubans, just as it is available to the Castro elites, the Pope, and Mr. Obama who all want new formalized relations. Cuba is a museum of two profound failures: the complete failure of communism to improve the quality of life for all Cubans, despite all it stole on behalf of the poor; and the second miserable failure of the US embargo to end Castro’s anti-American  communism and his murderous regime. Yet, the primary reason for our rapprochement with the island nation just 90 miles from the Florida shore, is to protect our Gulf-area sea lanes and the New Orleans port to the Mississippi River. Our shipping of fuel, agriculture, and material commerce up the Mississippi River to Canada fuels nearly half our national GNP and job markets. The Mississippi as well as the Gulf area… Keep Reading

Is Russia The Real Enemy Of The American People?

Why the demonization of Putin by Glenn Beck and other western media?  First off, let me just say that I enjoy watching many programs on the Blaze, but on Russia, Glenn is listening to the wrong people.   Glenn Beck has recently put out a one sided three part series ominously called, “The Red Storm” which caricatures Russia as an end times force of the “anti-christ” focused on destroying the west.  While the background history on the split between the Orthodox east and Catholic west was well done, the modern analysis falls apart and is easily refuted with just a cursory review of online sources.  Thank God for the internet and the ability to sift through the spin.  So why are western media  trying to turn Russia into the next Bogeyman? Naturally, many Ukrainians took umbrage at their targeted famine due to the actions of the Soviet government.  This led many Ukrainians to welcome German soldiers as liberators during World War Two.  In fact, a part of Hitler’s elite private army called the Waffen SS (Schutzstaffel) was made up of Ukrainians (SS Galicia).  Eastern Ukrainians,… Keep Reading
