Nigel Farage ‘Person Of Interest’ In Russia Investigation

Brexit leader and right-libertarian firebrand Nigel Farage is said to be a ‘person of interest’ in the ongoing FBI Russia investigation, according to The Guardian, due to his association with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, U.S. President Donald Trump and controversial political strategist Roger Stone. Farage’s spokesman responded to the report by saying it was “verging on the hysterical” and that “Nigel has never been to Russia, let alone worked with their authorities.” Farage himself went on to describe it as “utter and total hysterical nonsense” and “fake news”. In March, Farage was seen leaving the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where Assange has sought refuge he was threatened by the British government with extradition to Sweden and the United States. Stone’s ties to Farage go back to the Republican National Convention, where the two men had dinner, and later maintained contact, with many claiming that Farage was Stone’s claimed back channel to Assange. However, there remains little substantive evidence that this constitutes any sort of coordination between Russia, WikiLeaks and the Trump camp. Keep Reading

Anti-Establishment Right Makes Comeback Within Trump Administration

The ‘campaign Donald Trump’ is set to return in the coming weeks and months, with extensive reports of major staffing reshuffles in Trump world favoring operatives associated with the grassroots right that spearheaded the historic victory last year. This follows an evident shift to the right on policy emanating from the Trump administration, including Trump hammering NATO leaders on their failure to adhere to the terms of the alliance, siding with the Freedom Caucus against Paul Ryan on the border tax, and unveiling an impressive, conservative budget plan. Bannon, the former head of Breitbart News, is regarded by nationalists as their strongest advocate within the administration. Although he was said to have been sidelined back in April, it appears the continued onslaught of negative media coverage has led Trump to re-embrace… Keep Reading

“Resign Now!”: Roger Stone Slams Steve Bannon For Incompetence, Lack Of Fashion Sense

Trump’s long-time confidant, Roger Stone is not happy with what is going on in his great friend’s administration. A self-described libertarian, Stone is angry that the Trump administration is swaying from its “America First” mandate. He has isolated a peculiar target for his ire: White House chief strategist Steve Bannon. Bannon is seen as the primary voice for nationalism within the Trump administration, but his work has not pleased Stone. Stone went on a Twitter rampage against the publisher turned political oracle last week criticizing his organizational ability, his lack of competency, his poor dressing ability, and claiming he is apart of the problem for his inability to keep Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner at bay. “@StevenKBannon Resign Now! You refuse to confront @jaredkushner – u (sic) are part of the problem not part of the solution,” Stone said in a May 5 Tweet. Stone followed it up by saying, “@BreitbartNews perhaps if poorly dressed @StevenKBannon got off his dead, disorganized incompetent ass.” Keep Reading
