Simple But Difficult Solutions To The Problem Of Islamic Terrorism

The recent terror attack in New York City is like every other terror attack to have occurred over the past few years in the West. It was preventable, the assailant was a Muslim, and next to nothing will be done to thwart a future attack of the same nature. There are things that could be done to mitigate the risk of this happening again, but there exists a staggering lack of testicular fortitude in the halls of power, one that puts political correctness ahead of national security. Lives are now less important than words and in a climate of cowardice… Keep Reading

Liberals In State Of Confusion

Since the election, it appears the left has been in a state of confusion. Trump’s victory has created an entirely different form of left-wing progressives who appear to be going through an unusual transition. It was on full display this past weekend when protesters took to the streets across America demonstrating against Sharia Law. Sharia Law is an Islamic system of law that, if followed explicitly, would call for the death of those opposed to their religion, promote female genitalia mutilation, allow girls as young as 9-years-old to get married, require women to be slaves to their husbands, and prevent… Keep Reading

Bigotry Isn’t Always a Bad Thing

I have a confession to make, dear readers: I am a bigot. That’s right, I am obstinately devoted to my opinions and prejudices and I possess a deep-seated hatred and intolerance of certain groups and beliefs that are in conflict with my own. I suspect you too are a bigot in your own unique ways and also in other ways that are more common. For instance, since World War II, most people in the West and beyond are bigoted against Nazis. There’s nothing wrong with hating Nazis and being intolerant of their warped worldview. This kind of bigotry is actually… Keep Reading

A Lesson From The Tripolitan War

In the west, people tend to have short memories. Typically this isn’t a problem because most lapses in memory tend to be centered around the mundane: Where you left your car keys, picking up the dry-cleaning, the date of your third cousin’s wedding to the Shriner who resembles Dwight Yoakam, only uglier – if you can imagine that. With any luck you’ll find your keys, get to the dry-cleaner, and, hopefully, you chose something more becoming to wear to the nuptial ceremony than a leisure suit. These things are easily understood and forgiven, if not completely relatable. The leisure suit…… Keep Reading

The Treasonous Alliance Between The Left And Islam

The most perplexing and perverse development in our country’s politics over the past decade or so has been the unholy alliance between the so-called “progressive” movement and the pseudo-religious terrorist organization best known as Islam. A degree in the history of Abrahamic faith systems – maybe only Islam in particular – would be helpful in highlighting the absurdity of the Progressive-Muslim pact, but it’s unnecessary – the mind-numbing stupidity of the arrangement is virtually visible from space. On one side, you have snowflake social justice warriors who champion the causes of women and gays, among other things. On the other… Keep Reading

Fearing Possible Walkout, Sen. Rand Paul No-Shows Students For Liberty Conference

In an abrupt and unexpected maneuver, Sen. Rand Paul no-showed at the 2017 International Students for Liberty Conference (ISFLC) in Washington D.C. tonight. The reason given by event organizers was that he was busy with an important Senate vote, but records suggest that no such vote was taking place. Wolf von Laer, President of Students for Liberty, claimed that Sen. Rand Paul couldn’t make the conference due to pressing Senate business. However, the United States Senate Floor’s Twitter account reported that the body had adjourned at 1:54 pm in the afternoon, leaving attendees to speculate about the real reason why Rand… Keep Reading

The New Colossus Criteria

When Emma Lazarus wrote The New Colossus in 1883 she may or may not have been aware that, 6,500 miles to the east in the Arabian Peninsula, the Al Saud were clashing with their bitter rivals, the al-Rashids from the city of Hayil. Things didn’t go well for the Al Saud and, consequently, they were driven from Ndaj into exile, eventually settling in Kuwait. It’s a fascinating story and perhaps Miss Lazarus would have agreed. Warring factions and power struggles aren’t unique to Islam. For centuries, bitter rivalries between the monarchical governments of Europe tormented the continent with near non-stop bloodshed.… Keep Reading

Trump Blamed For Canadian Mosque Attack

On Sunday, a white supremacist entered the Quebec City Islamic Cultural Centre and opened fire on a group of Muslims engaged in evening prayers. This comes just days after President Donald J. Trump signed an executive order restricting immigration from several middle-eastern, Muslim countries. In the shooting, which occurred Sunday night, five people were killed and more were wounded. Just like the Charleston church shooting, the perpetrator of which I will not mention by name, this heinous crime was motivated by bigotry, plain and simple. The Charleston shooter shot and killed nine black churchgoers inside Emanuel AME church in 2015.… Keep Reading

The Gun Debate

As could be expected, the gun debate reappeared in full force after the tragedy that took place in Orlando.  All of the typical arguments from both sides are again being repeated ad nauseum.  From “we need to prevent this from ever happening again” on the left, to “from my cold, dead hands” on the right, and everything in between. In the post-9/11 world, both major political parties are increasingly coming out in support of restrictions on gun ownership.  The idea that anyone who is on a government watchlist (such as the no-fly list) should not be able to own a… Keep Reading

Beheading Children Beneath The Black Flag

Qur’an, Surah 8:12 – “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”  Matthew 24:9 – “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.” There is an unambiguous contrast drawn between those two statements of faith. In one, ostensibly fundamentalist words being used by groups like Islamic State (aka ISIS, ISIL) and others to justify and motivate their persecution and butchery of Christians in Iraq and elsewhere. In the other, prescient words of warning to those whose faith… Keep Reading
