Rand Paul Issues List Of Demands On Graham-Cassidy Health Care Bill

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has issued a list of demands to the White House in order to obtain his vote on the Graham-Cassidy health care reform bill, according to a Sunday report by Axios. The administration believes Paul represents the best hope for passing the bill, with Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) seen as less likely to come over. In particular, they are banking on the warm relationship between President Donald Trump and Sen. Paul, a frequent defender of the administration during his televised appearances. Paul has negotiated directly with Trump, as well as Vice President Mike Pence, regarding this legislation. Keep Reading

Sen. Rand Paul Stands Against Trump, Graham To Oppose Latest Obamacare Bailout

Another Obamacare bailout has been proposed in the legislature, and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is leading the charge to stop it. Familiar swamp rats Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Bill Cassidy (R-LA) – aided by the clueless or complicit President Trump – are pushing legislation that would keep most of Obamacare in place while forcing Republicans to own the results of its disastrous failure. “In all ways the Graham/Cassidy bill is also Obamacare Lite,” Paul wrote in an e-mail appeal to his supporters. “In no way is it repeal the way we promised. I will oppose this bill as I… Keep Reading

Rand Paul (R-KY) is the first GOP defection in the Senate on the Affordable Health Care Act (AHCA), according to The Hill. Paul as “irretrievably gone” on the bill, adding, “he’s not going to vote for any bill that has refundable tax credits… Keep Reading

Neocons Gloat After President Trump Bombs Syria To Weaken Assad Regime

Neoconservatives could not be happier after President Trump bombed Syria last night in a retaliatory measure against President Bashir Al-Assad for alleged chemical attacks that were released on video for the world to see. “This is the challenge of Bashar al-Assad and then we’ve also got ISIS, so we’ve also got ISIS so we’ve got a long way to go,” Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said to MSNBC. “But, the signal that was sent last night is a very, very important one.” McCain wasn’t the only neocon jubilant with the prospect of more war. His great friend and fellow militarist Sen.… Keep Reading

The Deep State Attempts a Coup

Hitler’s 1923 coup attempt, best known as the Beer Hall Putsch, was only a nominal failure. The immediate result was his arrest, trial, and conviction, though his sentence was barely carried out. The long-term effect was to inspire in him the belief that power is best achieved through engagement with the ruling regime and existing democratic apparatus. Ten years later, his goal was accomplished by way of his legitimate but coercive ascendancy to the Chancellorship and the implementation of the Enabling Act. World War II put an end to his ambitions but Hitler’s prowess in actualizing his aspirations within the… Keep Reading
