Let The View And Antifa Both Have Their Say

While scrolling through my Facebook newsfeed, from time to time I come across posts asking if The View should be canceled. No doubt, the talk show format consists of a heavy amount of Trump-slamming. The hosts take every opportunity granted to them to ridicule and condemn President Donald Trump. When strong conservative women like Ann Coulter make an appearance presenting legitimate facts, the panel not only dismisses her viewpoints but also tries to shame her with short rants by washed up comedian Whoopi Goldberg followed by thunderous applause from the left-leaning audience. For guests like Kellyanne Conway, Laura Ingraham, and Sarah… Keep Reading

The Conservative Case For Calexit

Should California Secede? That was the title of Michael Hiltzik’s November 29th article for the Los Angeles Times, and it is certainly a good question. Liberal left-coasters seem to be the most enthusiastic members of the “Calexit” lobby while many on the Right, including Jim Geraghty of the National Review, are downright dismissive if not wholly intolerant of the idea. We on the Right are an intellectually superior lot to our counterparts on the Left, and as such, we cannot afford to be as close-minded as they are. Let’s examine the idea of Calexit and see if it is something… Keep Reading

Conservative Optimism Revealed By Ossoff Loss

In his article for The Nation – Jon Ossoff’s Loss Should Be a Lesson to Corporate Democrats – D.D. Guttenplan (is that even a real name? It doesn’t sound like a real name) writes, “To win Democrats need to tell voters what they’re for—and to do that effectively, they need to stop running scared and let progressives, who don’t need focus groups or consultants to know what we’re for, take the lead.” This is standard liberal fare: The problem isn’t that they have bad policies, it’s that they didn’t explain them well enough. Obama was the master of this approach… Keep Reading

Study Indicates Weak Men Prefer Socialism

The unflattering term ‘snowflake’ is generally associated with the overly sensitive left. It is a term referring to someone who’s easily hurt emotionally and quick to go on the defense, especially when opinions contradict their narratives. This was evident at colleges across the nation as classes were canceled following Trump’s election victory. College officials believed the legal adults who were attending their universities needed to be consoled. Of course, those legal adults gave school officials many reasons to be concerned for their emotional wellbeing. For some reason, this generation of progressive students were not mentally prepared to accept any other… Keep Reading

Bigotry Isn’t Always a Bad Thing

I have a confession to make, dear readers: I am a bigot. That’s right, I am obstinately devoted to my opinions and prejudices and I possess a deep-seated hatred and intolerance of certain groups and beliefs that are in conflict with my own. I suspect you too are a bigot in your own unique ways and also in other ways that are more common. For instance, since World War II, most people in the West and beyond are bigoted against Nazis. There’s nothing wrong with hating Nazis and being intolerant of their warped worldview. This kind of bigotry is actually… Keep Reading

Paul, Massie Concerned About Growing Kushner Influence In White House

Australian libertarian politician David Leyonhjelm recently met with U.S. Senator Rand Paul and U.S. Representative Thomas Massie, two leading libertarian Republicans in Congress, during a trip to Washington. According to the The Australian, “the libertarian Republicans [Leyonhjelm] met believed Mr Trump was doing a good job so far, but still had a lot to prove.” Keep Reading

The Laughable Left

Writing for Vox, Carlos Maza claims that “Comedians have figured out the trick to covering Trump.” It should come as no shock that someone writing for a bastion of semi-functional retardation like Vox believes himself to be today’s Juan Ponce de Leon and political satire is his long sought after Fountain of Youth. Despite Maza’s oblivious enthusiasm for the trivial and obvious, this is no huge discovery. He’s no pioneering and chivalrous conquistador, he’s the optimistic little boy who finally found a pony in a pile of excrement. Maza’s faux eureka moment is a microcosm of what has become of… Keep Reading

Transgenderism Is a Myth

Our once great nation is overflowing with poseurs who make believe they’re fighting the good fight against an uneducated army of Philistines, that is, anyone who votes Republican. And so, the myth goes, without the posturing of pawns in entertainment, news media, social media, politics and government, the least fortunate and most misunderstood among us (blacks, Hispanics, gays, transgenderism, etc.) would be crushed under the unfeeling boot heels of puritan era artifacts who long ago outlived their usefulness, if they were ever useful to begin with. Unpaid big-mouthery is all the rage these days and it always has been; people… Keep Reading

The Treasonous Alliance Between The Left And Islam

The most perplexing and perverse development in our country’s politics over the past decade or so has been the unholy alliance between the so-called “progressive” movement and the pseudo-religious terrorist organization best known as Islam. A degree in the history of Abrahamic faith systems – maybe only Islam in particular – would be helpful in highlighting the absurdity of the Progressive-Muslim pact, but it’s unnecessary – the mind-numbing stupidity of the arrangement is virtually visible from space. On one side, you have snowflake social justice warriors who champion the causes of women and gays, among other things. On the other… Keep Reading

The Pro-Choice Terminology Deception

“My body, my choice! My body, my choice!” The popular slogan chanted by pro-choice supporters during pro-life gatherings is a defiant declaration to all anti-abortion advocates and lawmakers, a woman’s uterus is off limits to any and all government regulations. It’s a statement which – supposedly – represents freedom for all women to decide the fate of an unborn child. Yet, upon a closer review, when you compare the phrase with how abortion supporters actually apply it, the freedom to choose is not what the phrase represents. If abortion supporters were really about choice, they certainly wouldn’t be offended by those who believe that every child… Keep Reading

Face To Face With Liberal Indoctrination

Some time ago, I suggested that liberals have, by in large, lost their minds. This is based mostly on their denial of reality and their freakish hypersensitivity when confronted with criticism or ideas that differ from their own. They appear to be coming apart at the seams with nothing concrete to ground them, but I ended the article with the idea that perhaps they aren’t crazy and are merely suffering the ill effects of years of brainwashing. The indoctrination received by our friends on the left begins, for the most part, in the public school system where the chief virtues… Keep Reading

Denial And Dudgeon In The Millennial Generation

The following may seem a little harsh, but please keep in mind that everything I’m about to write is out of genuine concern for our friends on the left, particularly those of the millennial generation. They say children are our future and with that in mind, I’ve become increasingly concerned about the mental health and well-being of people my age, and even those who are younger. At first glance, it appears as though our liberal friends have lost their collective mind. My first real memory of politics was watching George H. W. Bush mop the floor with Michael Dukakis back… Keep Reading

The Beast From Beyond Reality

The following thought is certainly not original with me, but regardless of who expressed it first, it bears repeating: Conservatives craft policy based on the world as it is, and liberals craft policy based on how they believe the world should be. Said another way, the former seeks to adapt to the confines of reality, the latter is completely out of touch with it. This dichotomy can be traced back to the early twentieth century when the nascent progressive movement was in the wicked thrall of the eugenics craze. Lead by villains such as Margaret Sanger, these genetic elitists believed… Keep Reading

The Death Of Definition: How 2016 Reset America’s Political Spectrum

Among the many time-honored structures left in ruins by the 2016 presidential process, perhaps nothing has suffered more than our comfortable set of political labels. Terms like “conservative”, “progressive”, “liberal”, “libertarian”, and even “classic liberal” (courtesy, Speaker Paul Ryan) have been growing dull for years, but this year seems to have become so useless that warring activists under each label were forced to drop their weapons, crawl out of their respective trenches, scratch their heads, and try to figure out which side they really belonged on. Who can blame them? Every election has its share of word-bending, but 2016 dropkicked… Keep Reading

Crybaby Culture

Over the past several years, those of us on the right have watched in semi-stupefied horror as the traditions and morals that serve as the bedrock of our culture have been eroded under an incessant bombardment of cultural Marxism. Those values that built this nation (not to mention much of western civilization) are under open attack by an army of social justice warriors whose main obsessions are political correctness and the obliteration of anything resembling traditional America: Conventional gender roles, the family unit, modesty and humility, strength – both physical and mental, veneration of our elders, self-respect, gravitas, hard work, etc.… Keep Reading

Career Politicians – President Trump Says “You’re Fired!”

Congressional term limits have been a topic of conversation for decades in political circles.  Should members of Congress only be allowed to serve a certain number of terms?  Are career politicians a bad thing or is consistency good?  Well, the subject was once again thrust into the limelight when Presidential Candidate Donald Trump announced on Tuesday at a campaign rally in Colorado his plans to push for a Constitutional amendment imposing Congressional term limits.  Just as he would do in his ever so popular television series The Apprentice, Trump would like to look across the boardroom table at Congress, stick out… Keep Reading

Can The “Very Liberal” Celebrate Independence Day?

The week of Independence Day, Gersh Kuntzman of the Daily News, called for Major League baseball to permanently ban the playing of “God Bless America.” While conceding some of its virtues, Kuntzman laments that the classic jingle “embodies” some of “our worst things,” vices like “self-righteousness, forced piety,” and “earnest self-reverence.” Kuntzman approvingly alludes to a 2013 poll conducted by the author of a book on “God Bless America.” The poll found that 61% or so of those asked share Kuntzman’s judgment that the song should go the way of the dinosaur.  The real story here, though, is to be… Keep Reading
