Claud Cockburn: Pioneer Of The Mainstream Media

Conservatives today locate the origins of the “mainstream media” in the Watergate and Vietnam era; when every reporter since has wanted to have the presidency-toppling effect of a Woodward and Bernstein. But from Watergate on, the presidencies that reporters have wanted toppled have been exclusively Republican ones. Much of this partisanship had to do with the inclusion of New Leftist ideologues, ironically once anti-establishment toward the press, burrowing into the profession and the academia that trains future journalists. Conservatives are certainly correct that the profession today is dominated by leftists who never left the late sixties, where objectivity was an… Keep Reading

Dan Rather Refuses To Go Away

Like his beloved Clintons, Dan Rather refuses to go away in shame. This venerable dean of the mainstream media clearly has no shame or awareness of his liberal bias (he once told then-employee Peggy Noonan that he was a centrist), evidenced by his recent return to his familiar role of bashing Republicans and carrying water for Democrats. It was this very liberal bias that caused Rather to resign from CBS for feverishly peddling documents revealed to have been false purportedly showing that former President George W. Bush received preferential treatment while in the Texas National Guard during the Vietnam War.… Keep Reading

#CNNBlackmail Goes Viral After Media War Involving President Trump Gets Personal

The world of journalism and social media is a very odd place, especially in the era of President Donald Trump. There is very little difference between a troll and a reporter these days, and the fallout from Trump posting a meme showcases just how badly the lines have been blurred in the digital age. Over the weekend, President Trump posted a relatively innocuous meme on Twitter of himself giving a body slam to a man with CNN’s logo cropped over his head. This was a version of a popularly shared meme based on Trump’s 2007 WrestleMania appearance. Widely understood to be… Keep Reading

Sarah Sanders Deals Out Reality Check For The Mainstream Media

When Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders got behind the podium at yesterday’s Press Briefing, the truth finally came out. One correspondent posed a question in regards to CNN recently publishing a false news story, resulting in a number of individuals getting fired. The outlet reportedly apologized for this incident, but the President, of course, took to his social media account to call CNN “fake news.” The corresponded wanted to know why CNN’s initial response “was not good enough for the President.” Secretary Huckabee Sanders responded, “I don’t know that it’s that the response isn’t good enough for the President.… Keep Reading

James O’Keefe Strikes Again: CNN Producer Admits Faking The News In Hidden Camera Video

When it comes to hidden camera journalism, very few can top James O’Keefe. A pioneer in the field of internet muckraking, his organization, Project Veritas, has exposed Planned Parenthood, teachers unions, federal bureaucrats, crooked non-profit entities, and other corrupt entities. This time, he is taking on CNN and exposing their production of fake news with his “American Pravda” series. “Our goal is to expose the real motivations behind the decision-making process at our dominant media corporations,” O’Keefe said while introducing his bombshell video coverage. The first video of the series pertains to CNN’s obsession over the story of alleged Russian… Keep Reading
