Pastor Clinton?

To hear Hillary Clinton’s considering becoming a lay-preacher has created a social media firestorm of comments and opinions. The biggest challenge in addressing whether her qualifications as a lay-preacher are valid is the likelihood that her supporters are standing by, ready to pounce on anyone who questions the former First lady’s interest in sharing her faith. Regardless, even under the threat of public scrutiny, some real questions need to be asked. If Clinton is serious about this latest endeavor, her actions and political stances will certainly come into question. Not to beat a dead horse, but she was responsible for a number of poor choices and judgments which have gained national infamy; from the infamous email investigation to shady dealings with certain foreign leaders and so on. To this day, she’s admitted no wrong doings, even after former FBI director James Comey exposed multiple lies regarding her email server. While scriptures are clear that ‘no one’s perfect, not even one,’ it’s also important to note that Christians are called to… Keep Reading

If Only The Rights Of Everyday Americans Mattered As Much As Hillary Clinton’s

If there’s one thing that Hillary Clinton allies and supporters established last year, it’s that she was the victim of the year. Nobody in the world has been more targeted and more oppressed than her. Conservative opponents are relentlessly trying to stop a former Secretary of State who before that was a United States Senator and First Lady. To these individuals, her record speaks for itself. She’s established her record. Clinton is above us all. It is for this reason the rules do not apply to her. Chelsea Manning is sitting in prison after releasing classified information to whistleblower website Wikileaks. Before her trial, she was subject to harsh treatment that some have described as torture. The former Army Private First Class did not do this out of reckless negligence or severe incompetence. She did not do it out of spite towards the military or government, nor did she do it to harm the nation. Keep Reading

The First Presidential Debate: The Crook Vs. The Clod

The first debate between the two least-admired nominees in electoral memory was a puerile display; an embarrassing 90-minute bum fight detrimental to the viewing public and inimical to a Republic which once had higher standards. At the end of 90 minutes, it is clear that Trump knows little to nothing about foreign policy, global economics, and how the Constitution works; while Hillary knows little to nothing about integrity, honesty and how the Constitution works. They are – both of them – unfit for the office, with Hillary being worse. Yes, Lester Holt asked Trump many negative questions (about tax returns, the “birther” issue, the Iraq War, and Hillary’s presidential “Look”) that pushed Trump into a corner, and were designed to make him look bad, while pointedly avoiding any topics that could make Hillary uncomfortable or unhappy. Yes, Hillary Clinton was atrociously awful each time she got off script, her face alternating between the evil smile of a Disney villain, and icy blank stares, with a stammering cackle occasionally thrown in. Yes, the debate, if divided in two (the… Keep Reading

Uber And Innovation…The Left’s Worst Nightmares

Recently we have been hearing about the evil monstrosity destroying the very  fabric of our society and the welfare of all who inhabit it. This supposed malevolent entity is none other than Uber…a smart phone application that provides private taxi services to its users at competitive prices. Uber has been attacked and threatened by many government jurisdictions worldwide and their government monopoly taxi companies. They claim that Uber is unsafe and dangerous because it is “unregulated” and “unlicensed.” So do these politicians have a point? Is Uber really a danger after all? Of course not – this is all utter nonsense. Uber is far from a threat to our society and the economy. In fact, it is a positive development that has given countless people affordable and efficient transportation options while providing an income to just as many drivers. When the government throws accusations of a new and promising venture being dangerous because it is “unregulated” or “unlicensed,” this is essentially newspeak for “they didn’t pay us our kickback.” Governments across the… Keep Reading
