Senate Poised To Go “Nuclear” To Confirm Gorsuch To SCOTUS

Just as the United States Senate Judiciary Committee voted 11-9 along party lines to advance Gorsuch’s nomination, Democrats reached the 40-vote threshold to filibuster a vote by the full Senate. Democrats Are Winning Even Though Trump’s Appointments Are Being Confirmed

Senate Democrats have shut down the Trump administration. Even though Republicans hold a majority on the Senate floor, Democrats have been able to stop Trump’s political appointments.
