Claud Cockburn: Pioneer Of The Mainstream Media

Conservatives today locate the origins of the “mainstream media” in the Watergate and Vietnam era; when every reporter since has wanted to have the presidency-toppling effect of a Woodward and Bernstein. But from Watergate on, the presidencies that reporters have wanted toppled have been exclusively Republican ones. Much of this partisanship had to do with the inclusion of New Leftist ideologues, ironically once anti-establishment toward the press, burrowing into the profession and the academia that trains future journalists. Conservatives are certainly correct that the profession today is dominated by leftists who never left the late sixties, where objectivity was an obstacle to their political goals and thus jettisoned; and these propaganda techniques continue today by the journalists who leftist academics indoctrinate as college students. Antifas Defeated: Patriots In Boston Reach Victory Without a Battle

From the country’s seventh oldest settlement in New Hampshire – Dover – route sixteen will take you to ninety-five, from there you hop on one, and from there you hop on ninety-three, all south, and eventually you can find your way to the Government Square Exit. From there on out, you’re in no man’s land and you’re on your own in Big Dig and Duck Boat territory. It’s a place of wacky accents (pahk the cah neah the bah) and strange lingo (wicked pissah kehd) where movies are shot for audiences who ask, “Do they really swear that much?” and no, we don’t swear that much, we swear more. Out here in the wild, wild east, we use the “f” word the way other parts of the country say “uh” and “um” and we drink beer like it’s dirty water and if you don’t keep up we’ll let you know you don’t fit in. And if you have a problem with that you probably won’t come back but you’ll… Keep Reading

Antifa Cowards Meet Their Match

Newton’s Third Law of physics states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Though commonly understood to apply to physical interactions between objects in action, this law is as true in boxing and baseball as it is in politics. Midterm elections are often a down-ballot repudiation of a president and ruling party’s policy initiatives. This accounts for the Democratic Party’s drubbings in 2010 and 2014. It accounts for the humiliating dressing down they received at the hands of the forgotten men and women of the American electorate in November of last year. It accounts for the vehement violence perpetrated by the Antifa pawns of George Soros and other more ambiguous movers and shakers in the elite echelons of the “progressive” power structure. We got hints of liberal vitriol-in-action during the election campaign when paid provocateurs invaded Trump rallies and attacked their peaceful counterparts. At the inauguration, we saw more as masked thugs destroyed storefronts and set fires and assaulted anyone who dared stand up to… Keep Reading

The Fascism Of The Lawless Left

The birthplace of the free speech movement, UC Berkeley, was desecrated recently by a platoon of masked cowards who set fires, smashed windows, and assaulted peaceful people who had gathered there to hear a talk by infamous internet maven, Milo Yiannopoulos. Their efforts were successful: Milo canceled his appearance and the perpetrators of the inexcusable violence faded into the night. Not a single arrest was made in a stunning instance of law enforcement joining the lawless to make a mockery of the rule of law. These terrorists are not some modern version of good Samaritans, they are mercenaries, they are harbingers of what they claim to fight: fascism. The terrorism inflicted at Berkeley mirrored the violence of identically masked terrorists who wreaked the same spineless mischief in Washington, D.C. during the inaugural rituals of our latest president. Throughout the course of the contentious election season, the same craven and horrifying behavior was present at Trump rallies where provocateurs burned cars and destroyed storefronts and physically attacked many of those… Keep Reading

The Intolerance Of The Left

D.W. Griffith the great American silent film director, depicts acts of intolerance throughout history in his epic movie by the same name.  The history of man is highlighted by such inhumane acts as the Persian conquest of Babylon over religious differences and the crucifixion of Jesus brought about by the Pharisees who violently disagreed with his views. Ultimately, the goodness of eternal motherhood wins out over the inhumanity of man towards those he differs with.  Today a modern story of intolerance is being played out in the streets of America as those on the far left try to intimidate and beat down supporters of Donald Trump at peaceful assemblies of those who wish to hear how the businessman turned politician would “make  America great again”. What we have witnessed over this primary season is unprecedented.  Thousands of paid organizers from Moveon.org, SEIU and other radical left-wing organizations have disrupted and shut down rallies of those they disagree with in a bold attack on the first amendment and American values. … Keep Reading
