The Tragic Shooting Of Steve Scalise Must Usher In a New Era Of Political Discourse

You can’t reason with a postmodernist who believes logic doesn’t exist. You can try outwitting them in a war of words and hope a rational audience will be swayed by your superior intellect, or you can ignore them and appeal to the good nature of your fellow man by improving your own life in the hopes that others will emulate your example. You can be a better person tomorrow than you were today, and improve the world by bettering yourself through your deeds. The recent shooting of House Majority Whip Steven Scalise proves how desperately this change is needed. What sense does it make to continue the battle of ideas with the Left? Politically, they’ve been defeated for the time being. Culturally, they’re bankrupt with the violence of their deeds and the depravity of their words demonstrating it daily. They’re a pathetic lot–trampled under foot by the power of the ballot box–who are spiraling toward an ignoble demise brought about by their own self-destructive behaviors and rhetoric. Keep Reading

Scalise Shooter Identified As ‘Democratic Socialist’ Who Wanted To “Destroy Trump”

James Hodgkinson of Belleville, Illinois has been identified as the terrorist responsible for opening fire on a group of Republican Congressmen at a baseball practice earlier today, hitting House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA), according to a report by NBC News. Hodgkinson was shot by Capitol Police and later died of his injuries. Hodginson is said to have initially approached Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) and Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), asking them whether the group playing baseball were Republicans or Democrats. He then returned to his vehicle, presumably to collect his weapons, before firing at the Republican politicians on the field. Hodgkinson’s Facebook page provides an important insight into his ideological persuasion. It features a profile picture praising democratic socialism, and a cover photo featuring Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT). On his wall, he makes clear his endorsement of Sen. Sanders, saying, “I want Bernie to win the White House”, as he “really care about the working class”. He also expresses an admiration of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), declaring that he is… Keep Reading

Roving Band Of Bat-Wielding Protestors Spotted At The Evergreen State College

Reports emerged on Monday that packs of student protestors at the infamous Evergreen State College had been spotted “patrolling” campus armed with baseball bats. These reports – corroborated in the attached image – come as the Washington liberal arts institution faces increased scrutiny in response to a series of videos exposing a pattern of shocking and hateful behavior from Evergreen students. Oregon Republicans Consider Using Militia Protection Against Growing Leftist Terror Threat

With ANTIFA leftists normalizing political violence throughout the country, America is no longer safe for conservatives. After a crazed Bernie Sanders fan allegedly murdered two people in a vicious subway attack last week, Oregon Republicans are now considering utilizing the well-regulated militia to ensure their safety. “I am sort of evolving to the point where I think that it is appropriate for Republicans to continue to go out there,” Multnomah County GOP chair James Buchal said to The Guardian. “And if they need to have a security force protecting them, that’s an appropriate thing too.” When asked to elaborate, Buchal did not mince words. He doubled-down and indicated that he certainly meant aligning with militia and militia-affiliated forces moving forward. “Yeah. And there are these people arising, like the Oath Keepers and the Three Percenters,” Buchal said. Buchal is a long-time Republican activist who ran for Oregon attorney general back in 2012. He became interested in the possibility of using militia groups for protection after the annual Avenue of… Keep Reading

#AntifaUnmasked: ‘Professor’ Eric Clanton Pleads Not Guilty To Assault Charges

Eric Clanton, a former adjunct philosophy professor at Diablo Valley College-a Bay Area Community College- pleaded not guilty to felony assault charges on Friday at an Alameda County Court. Clanton is accused of assaulting Trump supporters with a bike U-lock at an April Free Speech rally at University of California-Berkeley. Clanton has been identified as an individual striking a pro-Trump demonstrator on the head with the bike lock, drawing blood (the assault can be seen at 0:16 in the linked video). In addition to the assault charges, Clanton faces the misdemeanor charge of wearing a mask during the commissioning of a crime. The college confirmed in a Facebook Statement that Clanton was in fact an employee of the institution. The masked Clanton was identified publicly through the results of a ‘crowdfunded’ investigation into the incident; stemming from a viral and widely viewed clip of the brutal assault occurring at the April pro-Trump demonstration. It came as a ironic surprise to the internet sleuths responsible for identifying Clanton that the perp was… Keep Reading

Don’t Let Them Silence You

A leftist narrative gaining a lot of momentum in our current climate is “hate speech isn’t free speech!”, which, in essence, translates to “this speech, that you use, is not protected by the first amendment”. Seems a bit…convenient. Challenge this narrative, requesting a definition of “hate speech” and you will most likely find out that “hate speech” just means anything with which they disagree. This is why they don’t view your speech as permissible or even defensible under the law (the very law which they do not understand). Liberals also own this narrative so they no longer see it valuable to defend free speech at all. The left wing in American politics is increasingly becoming more radical now that they seem to have a monopoly on allowable opinions. From here on out, the tyranny of the mob dictates. The terrifying reality of this is the censorship effect. There are truly great and decent people who just don’t want to be branded racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, etc. They don’t want to… Keep Reading

Showdown In Pikeville, Kentucky

On April 29, the Traditional Workers Party, joined by the League of the South and other right-wing factions, held a rally in Pikeville, Kentucky. It was, as one would expect, met with much controversy and counter-protest. This rally was only a portion of a weekend-long conference which included sessions on various topics, such as national socialist ideology and self-defense. The event had been planned since February, with several counter-protests planned shortly after the TWP announced its intended presence; merely a couple of days before the event, however, most official efforts to counter the national socialists were canceled due to security concerns. As everyone has learned in recent months, though, Antifa can always be counted on to show up to any form of right-wing demonstration, apparently even in small-town, rural Kentucky. Interesting enough, neither they nor the TWP seemed to have any locals within their ranks and were largely from out of town. This was understandably frowned upon by locals. “We wish everyone would go home peacefully and give our… Keep Reading

The First One Hundred Days Is a Meaningless Metric

The first one hundred days of a new president’s presidency is a media gimmick created by Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1933. I’ll skip right to the important part: It was a crock of shit then and it’s an even bigger crock of shit now. It’s an artifice meant to distract from more important things, such as the fact that the effects of policy-making often do not become evident until long after they are implemented. It took years for the deregulation of craft brewing to reap dividends and when it did Reagan’s economy took credit while Carter pounded sand. Like many (maybe most) bad ideas, NAFTA seemed like a good one at the time. The War on Drugs was supposed to usher in a utopia of peaceful streets and whole families; some forty years later it is an obvious failure built on lies. The point is, setting policy – good or bad – is a process, not an event. Roosevelt’s media gimmick is a snapshot of a bigger picture with… Keep Reading

In Show Of Fealty To The Left, Young America’s Foundation Cancels Ann Coulter’s Berkeley Speech

Under the pressure, the Young America’s Foundation (YAF) showed their true colors and buckled to ANTIFA leftists. Ann Coulter was scheduled to speak on Apr. 27 despite being canceled by UC-Berkeley, but that speech will no longer be happening because YAF pulled their support. “I’m so sorry Berkeley canceled my speech. I’m so sorry YAF acquiesced in the cancelation [sic]. And I’m so sorry for free speech crushed by thugs,” Coulter said to her supporters on Facebook earlier today. While the speech may have been canceled due to YAF’s lack of backbone, Coulter’s patriotic fans are not reacting in the same craven manner. Kyle “Based Stickman” Chapman, Gavin McInnes, Lauren Southern, and perhaps even Ann Coulter herself will be showing up in Berkeley to celebrate freedom of expression–with or without permission. The B*tch Is Back: Milo Yiannopoulos To Make Return At Berkeley With “Free Speech Week”

Rumors of Milo’s demise have been greatly exaggerated. After a media hit job forced the controversial tech journalist to resign from his post at Breitbart, Yiannopoulos is officially back and more inflammatory than ever. He announced today that he will be hosting “Free Speech Week” at University of California-Berkeley. “Free speech has never been more under threat in America — especially at the supposed home of the free speech movement,” Yiannopoulos said in a press release posted on his Facebook. “I will bring activists, writers, artists, politicians, YouTubers, veterans and drag queens from across the ideological spectrum to lecture, march, and party.” He did not give a date for when his week of festivities will commence, but regardless of the specifics, there will assuredly be a serious amount of push-back from ANTIFA and other leftist agitators. When Milo attempted to give a speech earlier this year in Berkeley, the town was set in flames while police refused to do anything about to keep the peace. Milo is undeterred by… Keep Reading

Ann Coulter Refuses To Be Silenced After UC-Berkeley Cancels Scheduled Speech

Due to threats of violence from leftist groups, the University of California-Berkeley has canceled Ann Coulter’s speech scheduled for later this month. The hard-right polemicist is unfettered though, and says her speech will go on with or without government permission. UC-Berkeley issued a series of demands required for Coulter to speak on their campus, according to Young Americans for Freedom, the event sponsors. “Coulter, we were informed, would be required to deliver her speech in the afternoon; only students would be allowed to attend; and the speech location would not be announced until close to the event,” Spencer Brown wrote in a YAF article. Coulter complied with all of these demands provided that Oakland police would do their jobs and the University would denounce any violence or disruptions to her speech as intolerable. In response, UC-Berkeley decided to cancel the event completely. “This is as clear-cut a case as it gets that public universities are using taxpayer dollars to shut down conservative speech, while allowing liberal speech only,” Brown… Keep Reading

Kyle Chapman And Augustus Invictus Announce “Based” Legal Guild To Protect Patriots

Fresh off of his demonstration of power last weekend, Kyle “Based Stickman” Chapman is ready for the next phase of his resistance plan. Anticipating that there will be many more conflicts between patriots and ANTIFA in the days to come, Chapman has combined forces with controversial Libertarian Party member Augustus Invictus to develop a legal guild of sorts. “The point of this organization is to protect the rights of all persons engaged in protests like the one at Berkeley this weekend,” Invictus said in a Facebook post detailing the new project. “The Antifa have a network of left-wing attorneys who advise them of their rights and help them to escape criminal culpability when they commit acts of violence against law-abiding citizens.” Invictus and Chapman aim to defend the rights of patriotic protesters against left-wing agitators. Both men have drawn frequent ire from the left due to their activism. Invictus and his supporters have been attacked by ANTIFA during rallies, and terror threats forced a libertarian festival to be shut… Keep Reading

Antifa Cowards Meet Their Match

Newton’s Third Law of physics states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Though commonly understood to apply to physical interactions between objects in action, this law is as true in boxing and baseball as it is in politics. Midterm elections are often a down-ballot repudiation of a president and ruling party’s policy initiatives. This accounts for the Democratic Party’s drubbings in 2010 and 2014. It accounts for the humiliating dressing down they received at the hands of the forgotten men and women of the American electorate in November of last year. It accounts for the vehement violence perpetrated by the Antifa pawns of George Soros and other more ambiguous movers and shakers in the elite echelons of the “progressive” power structure. We got hints of liberal vitriol-in-action during the election campaign when paid provocateurs invaded Trump rallies and attacked their peaceful counterparts. At the inauguration, we saw more as masked thugs destroyed storefronts and set fires and assaulted anyone who dared stand up to… Keep Reading

Despite Threats And Protests, Richard Spencer Will Speak At Auburn University Tonight

Although the University officially canceled the event, that is not going to stop controversial ethnonationalist Richard Spencer from speaking in Auburn, AL tonight. He will be giving his speech only a few days after the brouhaha in Berkeley amidst a tumultuous battleground of fiery left and right wing forces. “An injunction has been filed,” Richard Spencer said in an interview with the Auburn University student newspaper. “We feel the law is on our side. I think it’s very clear. The Supreme Court has been unequivocal in terms of supporting people in situations like ours.” Spencer was set to speak in a university building, but Auburn University canceled last week due to security concerns. Thus, he will be giving his speech instead at a campus “free-speech zone” at from 7pm to 9pm tonight where he will spread his identitarian message to his alt-right followers. ANTIFA is expected to have a heavy presence at the event as well, and clashes are anticipated. “What I’m going to do now is I’m going… Keep Reading

Libertarian Party Of Nevada Endorses Sabotaging Own Party’s Convention With Leftist Tactics

The Vice Chair of the Libertarian Party of Nevada has proposed an elaborate sabotage campaign based on far leftist tactics – to take down their own conference! David Colborne, Vice Chair of the Libertarian Party of Nevada, used the official website of state party to propose a sabotage campaign of their own Party’s conference to deny certain libertarian undesirables their right to organize within the Party. Although he was not mentioned specifically in the article, many links clearly indicate that the “polarizing” figure referenced by the article is Augustus Invictus. In his post titled “The Max Power Way” on the LP of Nevada blog, Colborne blamed Invictus for hiding “behind pregnant women” after ANTIFA leftists threatened a pregnant woman who is apart of his political circle. From there, Colborne suggested that the established leadership of the Libertarian Party of Florida sabotage their own conference in order to preserve “the status quo indefinitely.” Keep Reading

Based Stickman Reigns Supreme As Patriots Send Masked Leftists Running For Cover In Berkeley

Although he was arrested for his role in the melee, Kyle Chapman, a.k.a. the Based Stickman, is declaring the free speech rally that he helped organize in Berkeley on Saturday to be a smashing success. “We have effectively defeated ANTIFA. We have got them driven back all the way away from the park… They tried to attack us earlier, we destroyed them and ran them all the way down the street,” Chapman said. Keep Reading

The Usual Suspects: President Trump’s Left-wing Opponents Astroturfed ‘Tax March’ Rallies

Yesterday, a series of rallies took place throughout the country to protest President Donald Trump’s unreleased tax returns. While this has been a non-issue for many months now for most Americans, the specious nature of these protests have caused many people to cry foul—even the President himself. Trump tweeted the following on Easter Sunday, “Someone should look into who paid for the small organized rallies yesterday. The election is over!” On the Tax March website, the usual suspects are listed as partners for the march. At the top of the list is MoveOn.org, a notorious left-wing outfit funded by billionaire George Soros. Other familiar leftist entities credited with helping to organize the march include the SEIU, Indivisible, the National Education Association, Color of Change, and the American Federation of Workers. Undeterred By Leftist Terror, Based Stickman Plans Return To Berkeley For Patriots’ Day Rally

Kyle Chapman, known popularly as the ‘Based Stickman’ or ‘Alt-Knight’ after a well-publicized beatdown of ANTIFA put him in the news, is heading back to Berkeley for round two. This time, he has some serious backup. He will be joined by Lauren Southern, Brittany Pettibone, Vaughn Neville, and others for a Patriots Day rally scheduled for Saturday. Heavy leftist opposition is anticipated for the rally. Chapman has already been assaulted this week while filming a publicity shot for the rally in a public park. In the video, Chapman was stalked and harassed by ANTIFA thugs before a fight ensued. Chapman posted that he was arrested for his role in the incident. Nevertheless, he remains undeterred and is ready for this weekend’s demonstration. Keep Reading

ANTIFA Terror Threats Cause Venue To Drop Libertarian Festival; Event Now In Jeopardy

Terror threats from ANTIFA leftists have put next weekend’s Mid-Atlantic Liberty Festival in jeopardy. After left-libertarians released a call to arms vowing resistance, bomb threats were allegedly called in to the Hilton in Harrisburg, who were forced to cancel the event. “To me, it is horrifying that in the United States a fringe group can get away with its threats of violence, but such is the world in which we live,” event organizer Steve Scheetz said in a public Facebook post explaining the situation. The entire controversy arose after a debate was scheduled between former Libertarian Party Senate hopeful Augustus Invictus and Will Coley of Muslims for Liberty on the issue of border security. ANTIFA-aligned left-libertarians took umbrage with the fact that Invictus, who they allege to be a fascist without any clear evidence, was allowed to speak at the event. Instead of finding a like-minded group that doesn’t respect the values of free speech and free expression, they declared war against the event instead. But not every libertarian… Keep Reading

Hate Crime At ISFLC ’17: Antifa Leftist Ambushes Ethnic Trump Supporter

The events at the International Students for Liberty Conference (ISFLC) took a turn for the worse after the Saturday program concluded. Despite the ISFLC purporting itself to be an inclusive and diverse gathering, a hate attack took place in the morning hours that followed in the Marriott Wardman Park hotel where the event was held. John Lindley, self-described “anti-fascist” and Students for Liberty mainstay, sucker punched Turning Point USA ‘Latino Leadership Caucus’ member Cesar Subervi in the face in the hotel lobby on Sunday morning. After skirmishing the night before, the men were forced to be separated. The encounter prompted retaliation on behalf of Lindley the next morning when he sucker punched Subervi. Keep Reading

The Fascism Of The Lawless Left

The birthplace of the free speech movement, UC Berkeley, was desecrated recently by a platoon of masked cowards who set fires, smashed windows, and assaulted peaceful people who had gathered there to hear a talk by infamous internet maven, Milo Yiannopoulos. Their efforts were successful: Milo canceled his appearance and the perpetrators of the inexcusable violence faded into the night. Not a single arrest was made in a stunning instance of law enforcement joining the lawless to make a mockery of the rule of law. These terrorists are not some modern version of good Samaritans, they are mercenaries, they are harbingers of what they claim to fight: fascism. The terrorism inflicted at Berkeley mirrored the violence of identically masked terrorists who wreaked the same spineless mischief in Washington, D.C. during the inaugural rituals of our latest president. Throughout the course of the contentious election season, the same craven and horrifying behavior was present at Trump rallies where provocateurs burned cars and destroyed storefronts and physically attacked many of those… Keep Reading

Words Matter! (Human Lives Don’t)

It’s essentially become universally accepted that the political arena as of late has been steadily undergoing a transformation from a place of discussion and debate to one of battle. Throughout the duration of the past election season, the media never hesitated to remind viewers of just how divided the nation had become regarding the selection of the country’s new president. Inevitably, commentary of this sort would be accompanied by clips of each candidates’ inflammatory rhetoric, whether it was Donald Trump railing against illegal immigrants or Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders crusading against the evil corporations. And though there was occasional discussion about actual incidences of violence, much of the conversation would come to center less on actual actions and more on words and rhetoric. Eventually, a theme began to emerge: Words matter. Now taken at face value, there really is nothing wrong in pointing out the importance of language and how it may affect people. However, the mantra also hints at what has become a far more troubling political trend than divisiveness. And that is the… Keep Reading
