An Unborn Child Has Rights, Whether You Like It Or Not

It is often hard to have an insightful discussion on abortion for a variety of reasons. When it comes to this issue, too many people stick to their dogma and just drown out any opposing view. Liberals will often denounce any other opinion because they believe that a woman’s right to choose is supreme, and religious conservatives argue that life begins at conception, thus all abortions should be illegal. Unfortunately, the two sides do not find middle ground or compromise on their views, and to make matters worse, abortion is a widely controversial issue that too many fear talking about.… Keep Reading

Between a Pregnant Woman And Unborn Female, Who Claims “women’s Rights”?

Abortion has become a heated topic in society, often polarizing ordinary people and being a heavy source of contention between the two main political parties. Should a pregnant woman have a right to abort her child? If so, what does that mean for the unborn child within her? Alternatively, is the fetus within a pregnant woman truly a human being and at what point does it gain rights? Science often takes a backseat in the issue with politics taking the forefront. Liberals claim this is an issue of women’s rights. The argument is that a woman’s body is her own,… Keep Reading

A Contradiction Of Faith

Susan Chorley was resolved to have an abortion. The Massachusetts native felt confident the child would be a burden on her, her family, and her career. In a desperate attempt to salvage some superficial sense of morality, she justified her decision as a “mercy killing”. Already convinced the child was an inconvenience, she was worried child might feel that way too. Therefore, she did what was best for them both (how noble, right?). Chorley’s story is no different than other stories from women who’ve chosen abortion. Her career and lifestyle took precedence over the life growing inside her womb. So,… Keep Reading

The Right To Kill Your Equal

We all enter the world through a woman and (spoiler alert) everyone dies. Regardless of how you exit this world (natural causes or freak accident), no human being is immortal. We’re all here today and gone tomorrow. Aside from various man-created hierarchies, are there any universal categories to determine who’s greatest among us? Is someone’s significance based on: • What family they’re from? • Their level of attractiveness? • What their occupation is? • How financially stable they are? All these categories are based on one person’s opinion over another’s. Humans are notorious for judging one another based on this… Keep Reading

The Pro-Choice Terminology Deception

“My body, my choice! My body, my choice!” The popular slogan chanted by pro-choice supporters during pro-life gatherings is a defiant declaration to all anti-abortion advocates and lawmakers, a woman’s uterus is off limits to any and all government regulations. It’s a statement which – supposedly – represents freedom for all women to decide the fate of an unborn child. Yet, upon a closer review, when you compare the phrase with how abortion supporters actually apply it, the freedom to choose is not what the phrase represents. If abortion supporters were really about choice, they certainly wouldn’t be offended by those who believe that every child… Keep Reading

Media Silent While Millions March For Life

Media bias is on full display as huge crowds of pro-lifers gather in Washington D.C. for the March for Life against abortion, which has been receiving, unsurprisingly, little to no media coverage. On Friday, during the 44th annual March For Life, pro-life activists filled the national mall in Washington D.C. to March in solidarity with the unborn victims of abortion. Taking place on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision creating the ‘right’ to an abortion, the March for Life is the largest annual demonstration in Washington. Keep Reading

Women’s Rights March Is Masquerade For Presidential Insults

Less than 24 hours following President Donald Trump’s historic inauguration, hundreds of thousands of activists assembled around the country and different parts of the world in support of Women’s Rights. Many demonstrators marched proudly, displaying their knitted pink stocking caps complete with cute kitten ears cleverly referred to as ‘Pussy Hats’. The caps became a symbol of outrage toward sexually explicit comments made by President Trump over a decade ago. In addition to the caps, other feminist marchers dressed up in vagina costumes to send a message to the President: “this pussy is not for grabbin’!” Demonstrators arrived with picket signs… Keep Reading

Planned Parenthood And Progressive Perversion Of Rights

As we draw closer to the inauguration of our 45th president we also draw closer to the long overdue repeal of the ironically titled Affordable Care Act. Informally known as Obamacare, this abomination, much like its namesake, never should have become a reality. It’s fitting that as Obama leaves office congress will almost simultaneously rid our nation of this cancerous boil once and for all. It must, of course, be done with a replacement immediately on its heels – the last thing the Republican dominated congress should do is leave the American people hanging. If they do it right, the… Keep Reading

The Beast From Beyond Reality

The following thought is certainly not original with me, but regardless of who expressed it first, it bears repeating: Conservatives craft policy based on the world as it is, and liberals craft policy based on how they believe the world should be. Said another way, the former seeks to adapt to the confines of reality, the latter is completely out of touch with it. This dichotomy can be traced back to the early twentieth century when the nascent progressive movement was in the wicked thrall of the eugenics craze. Lead by villains such as Margaret Sanger, these genetic elitists believed… Keep Reading

Why You Should Support A Ban On Late-Term Abortions

The ongoing debate on abortion is one of the most divisive issues in the political sphere, and it has attracted increased attention over this election cycle. It has become a more pressing issue as the public is uncertain about how abortion rights will change when President-elect Trump takes office. His presidency is expected to usher in a more conservative stance on abortion, as shown by Vice President-elect Pence’s pro-life position and Trump’s promise that “the justices that I am going to appoint will be pro-life.” The public is aware of the gravity of this matter, as 45% of Americans stated that… Keep Reading

Does The Pro-Life Movement Have a Future?

From the moment Roe v. Wade came down from the gavel of the nine gods to the lives of our unworthy peasantry, social conservatives and the religious right have been debating tactics to achieve the impossible: Overturning a 7 to 2 Supreme Court decision. It’s a task not many activist movements have been able to pull off. First, the mantra was appointing new justices to overturn it. Lawyers and strategists tried to find a way for Congress and the President to go around it. Amending the Constitution was placed on the table. How was the pro-life movement going to push… Keep Reading

You Probably Don’t Understand Gary Johnson’s Position On Abortion

Throughout his campaign for President of the United States, Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson has been attacked by the right for being pro-choice. Many see Johnson as no better than Hillary Clinton on the issue of abortion. After all, Johnson says in nearly every interview that being libertarian means supporting a woman’s right to choose. However, a more in-depth analysis of his public statements about abortion both during this campaign and in the past make it fairly clear that those who dismiss Johnson with a pro-choice rubber stamp simply don’t understand his stance. First off, Johnson has made it clear… Keep Reading

Dear Austin Petersen, Personhood Is The Ultimate Liberty Issue

Dear Austin, As a Libertarian Presidential Candidate, I know you’re busy with a lot of interviews and meetings with conservative media and voters looking for a way out of the coming Trump/Hillary nightmare, but I wanted to take the opportunity to reach out to you and try to iron out some of the wrinkles in your pro-life messaging. See, protecting life is an utterly non-negotiable issue for a slew of Libertarians as well as Republicans, and polls show that the nation as a whole is moving in an anti-abortion direction, with the highly-libertarian Millennial generation leading the way. Many of… Keep Reading

Three Really Dumb Abortion Arguments You Should Stop Making

As the series of shocking videos released by the Center for Medical Progress continues to land body blows on Planned Parenthood, fewer and fewer abortion advocates can be found to defend them.  They are even slowly disappearing from the typically safe comments sections of traditionally left-leaning sources like Slate and my state’s resident MSM outlet, the Des Moines Register.  Articles from pro-choice folks condemning the abortion giant seem to have knocked the legs out from some of the most vulnerable arguments lately, like the thinly-veiled falsehood that abortions only comprise 3% of Planned Parenthood’s services, or the notion that being… Keep Reading
