Steve Bannon Plots Populist Uprising In Colorado Alongside Tom Tancredo

Ever since he left the White House, Breitbart News executive director Steve Bannon has been a very busy man. He spent the better part of last week stumping successfully for Judge Roy Moore to aid his Alabama primary victory against his establishment opponent, Luther Strange. Far from resting on his laurels, Bannon traveled to Colorado for a meeting with paleoconservative firebrand Tom Tancredo.

“Ok. What the hell. He is here and yes we met. Fascinating guy. No idea what else his plans are here or frankly, what brought him here. But you know he is my boss at Breitbart!” Tancredo said in an e-mail response to written questions from a reporter.

Tancredo, ever the rabble-rouser, responded to a question of whether the men discussed his possible run for governor with a winking smiley. He then said, “come to think of it, I believe it came up.”

Tancredo ran for Governor in the prior two elections, but failed to break through despite garnering an impressive amount of support. In 2010, he ran as a member of the Constitution Party and received a stunning 36.4 percent of the vote. Running in the 2014 primary, he lost by a narrow margin to Bob Beauprez, who would go onto lose to Democratic Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper. Tancredo hopes that Trump’s populist revolution will finally get him over the hump to claim the governorship.

Any talks between Bannon and Tancredo are only in the preliminary stages. Both men are well-acquanted with each other due to having similar political beliefs (so similar, in fact, that Bannon employs Tancredo as a Breitbart contributor) and will likely continue to plot doom for the globalists together in the months to come.

Judge Roy Moore’s primary victory was a great initial sign, but will what happened in Alabama last week become the norm throughout the country? It is too early to tell at this point, but if conservative populism truly becomes ascendant, Tancredo may finally be able to call the governor’s mansion home.

  • Colorado needs it. Too many bleeding heart liberals from California here now.

  • Bannon only helps Democrats with his backwards bullshit.
