Rand Paul’s Attempted Assassin Tries To Skirt Justice, Pleads Not Guilty After Vicious Attack

Rene Boucher – the socialist revolutionary who attempted to take Sen. Rand Paul’s life at his own home last week – pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge during a preliminary court hearing in Warren County on Thursday.

Boucher, a medical doctor and neighbor of Paul’s who had a long-running feud with the Senator over politics, caused potentially life-threatening injuries to Paul after ambushing the man while mowing his lawn last Friday. In an attempt to skirt blame for the terrorism inflicted by their client, Boucher’s attorney is trying to downplay the attack as being a part of a minor domestic dispute.

“Senator Paul and Dr. Boucher have been next door neighbors for 17 years,” said Matthew J. Baker, Boucher’s attorney, in a press release. “The unfortunate occurrence of November 3rd has absolutely nothing to do with either’s politics or political agendas. It was a very regrettable dispute between two neighbors over a matter that most people would regard as trivial.”

The complicit cowards of the liberal media immediately began doing propaganda on behalf of the attacker after news of the assault became widely reported. Boucher was set bail at a mere $7,500, making it clear that there will be virtually no institutional resistance to socialist revolutionaries making attempts at the lives of prominent conservatives.

“Senator Paul has five rib fractures including 3 displaced fractures. This type of injury is caused by high velocity severe force. It is not clear exactly how soon he will return to work, as the pain is considerable as is the difficulty in getting around, including flying,” said Doug Stafford, Paul’s senior advisor, in a press release. “This type of injury is also accompanied by severe pain that can last weeks to months.”

Boucher may still be facing additional federal charges as Warren County continues their investigation alongside Kentucky State Police and the FBI. While Boucher may have the mainstream media and activist judges on his side, this liberal terrorist has a long ways to go in order to escape justice.
