Globalists Promoting Trump’s Impeachment Or Removal Under COG Urge Staffers To Quit

Evan Osnos, a staff writer for the globalist-oriented magazine The New Yorker, has called on Trump administration staffers to quit as the so-called Comey memo threatens to plunge the country into “the full machinery of Presidential reckoning” and the deep state continues planning to remove Trump from office.

“For the first two years of Trump’s political career, no scandal could stall his rise,” Osnos wrote. “Comey’s revelation marked the threshold of a new era, thrusting Trump and the country into the full machinery of Presidential reckoning, an American ordeal not experienced since the Clinton-era Washington wars of two decades ago.”

In response to a report in the Washington Post suggesting President Trump revealed classified information regarding ISIS to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak, as well as claims that former FBI director James Comey was told directly by Trump to end the investigation into Michael Flynn, Osnos urged administration staffers to quit – and leak information about the administration’s inner workings.

“There is a long tradition of staffers leaving a troubled White House and then helping the public make sense of the dysfunction,” he wrote, specifically citing the example of Scott McClellan, the former press secretary for President George W. Bush.

McClellan quit his post in 2006 and wrote a memoir, “What Happened,” critical of the administration in which he portrayed Bush as “authentic” but “terribly off course.”

When asked his thoughts on Trump administration staffers who are considering quitting, McClellan said: “It’s kind of a question of appreciating your own conscience and doing what you believe is right.”

“When regimes collapse, dead-enders are the most fascinating to watch — the ones who end up with the profitable concessions and sought-after mistresses,” wrote Republican consultant and #NeverTrump advocate Rick Wilson in the Washington Post.

“You know already, though, that’s probably not you. So when this regime falls, ask yourself: Do you want to be among those who said ‘not me’ or do you want to go out like a Ba’ath Party generalissimo?”

Osnos notably reported on secret conversations among those ranging from Trump’s “friends and advisers; to lawmakers and attorneys who have conducted impeachments; to physicians and historians; and to current members of the Senate, the House, and the intelligence services” to remove Trump from office by declaring him mentally unfit for office under the 25th Amendment and implementing Continuity of Government (COG) procedures.

“This is a conversation that people are having around the dinner table, it’s one people have at the office, members of Congress are talking about it in private and the question is very simple: is this a president who is able to do the job and is able to go the distance,” Osnos said during an interview on MSNBC’s The Last Word.

The deep state has made no secret of its desire to remove Trump from office, via impeachment or the invocation of the 25th Amendment.

“Americans now have to face at least the possibility, a tangible one, that the election itself was subverted by a hostile foreign power in league with the winning presidential campaign, with implications all the way down the ballot,” wrote Norm Ornstein in The Atlantic, another globalist-oriented publication.

If the election were “stolen” through collusion with Russia, and Trump impeached, “Pence’s place as president would be no more legitimate than that of Trump.”

“After Pence—Paul Ryan, the speaker, followed by Orrin Hatch, the president pro tem, followed by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. If voters’ collective desires were subverted by foreign interference and a party’s collusion, none would have a legitimate claim—especially since the control of the Senate, at least, would have been affected by the Russian role.”

In that case, Ornstein suggested requiring a “do-over” election, thereby making it possible for the globalist-backed Democrats and establishment Republicans in Congress to remove any Nationalist or Populist from office by alleged collusion with a foreign power.
