North Korea Issues Demands, Orders Trump To Back Off As Precondition For Diplomacy

North Korea has issued an official response to President Donald Trump’s suggestion that he is open to talks “under certain circumstances.” The notoriously anti-American nation is open to meeting, but they have some preconditions of their own that the U.S. must follow to make it happen. “As everybody knows, the Americans have gestured [toward] dialogue,” North Korea’s Deputy UN Ambassador Kim In Ryong said on Friday as reported by Sky News. “But what is important is not words, but actions.” “The rolling back of the hostile policy towards DPRK is the prerequisite for solving all the problems in the Korean Peninsula,” Ryong said. “Therefore, the urgent issue to be settled on Korean Peninsula is to put a definite end to the US hostile policy towards DPRK, the root cause of all problems.” Keep Reading

Kushner’s Cronyism: Trump’s Son-in-Law Uses Corporate Connections To Secure Weapons For Saudis

The Trump administration is working diligently to make Saudi Arabia great again, having secured a weapons cache totaling over $100 billion for the Islamist kingdom. It was reported that Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and his influential advisor, called up the CEO of Lockheed Martin to secure the deal himself. The New York Times issued a report yesterday describing Kushner’s “personal touch” on a $110 billion weapons deal brokered at the behest of the Saudis. Kushner called Marillyn A. Hewson, chief executive of infamous defense contractor Lockheed Martin, to persuade her to lower the price tag for his Saudi cronies. “The Trump administration is expected to frame the deal, worth about $110 billion over 10 years, as a symbol of America’s renewed commitment to security in the Persian Gulf. But former officials pointed out that President Barack Obama, whose arms sales to Saudi Arabia totaled $115 billion, had already approved several of the weapons in the package,” the Times report stated. Trump’s Budget Director Scrambles To Ready 4,000 Page Proposal For Next Week’s Deadline

Mick Mulvaney, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, joked this week that President Trump’s first budget is “not for public consumption yet.” Mulvaney may not be joking for long, as he and his cohorts have less than a week to get the massive budget prepared for unveiling. “I have to go home and read 4,000 pages of budget,” Mulvaney said to a group of conservative legal minds at the Federalist Society on Wednesday, according to a Washington Examiner report. Mulvaney is undaunted by the gargantuan task of reviewing and preparing the budget that lies ahead of him. In fact, the Trump administration anticipating the release date for the budget to be this coming Tuesday. “I tell people all the time that we have forgotten what it’s like to live and work in a healthy American economy,” Mulvaney said. “If you’re here today and you’re 30 years old or younger, you really have never worked in a thriving U.S. economy — you’ve been through a recession or… Keep Reading

Thomas Massie: Push By Amash, Neocons, Democrats To Impeach Trump Is “Baloney”

While most Republicans are breathing a sigh of relief that FBI Director James Comey was relieved of his position, Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) is not among them. He has counteracted his traditional ally, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), to side with neoconservatives such as Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and demand an independent investigator to look into connections between Trump and Russia. Amash didn’t stop there. He has openly expressed his disdain for Trump, saying that he trusts Comey more than the President. He is even open to working with the Democrats on impeachment efforts if any revelations are uncovered. Amash’s concerns stem from Trump allegedly advising Comey to brush off an investigation of former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. While the possibility of nefarious behavior conducted by the President may trouble Amash, Massie summed up his colleague’s worries as “baloney.” Keep Reading

Donald Trump: Uh Oh, My Son-in-Law Jared Kushner Might Be Incompetent!

One of President Donald Trump’s most influential and powerful advisors is a member of his own family. His son-in-law, Jared Kushner was put at the helm of the new White House Office of American Innovation, and designated to work on criminal justice reform and other crucial tasks, but now Trump has apparently discovered a shocking secret about his daughter’s husband: He’s completely incompetent! “[President Trump’s] own mood, according to two advisers who spoke on the condition of anonymity, has become sour and dark, and he has turned against most of his aides — even his son-in-law, Jared Kushner — describing them in a fury as “incompetent,” according to one of those advisers,” a New York Times report claims. Ted Cruz And Rand Paul Urge Republican Senate To End Obamacare By Going Nuclear

After the House failed to pass a clean repeal of Obamacare, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) are leading the charge for the GOP-dominated Senate to use all of the tools at their disposal to actually end Obamacare rather than replace it with new taxes, regulations and mandates. Politco has reported that Paul and Cruz are ready to throw decorum and long-standing established Senate rules out the window in order to fully repeal Obamacare. “The firebrands want to overturn long-standing precedent for what can be done under reconciliation, the fast-track budget process the GOP is using to dismantle the Affordable Care Act. They argue Republicans are allowing stale Senate norms to tie their hands and are forfeiting a chance to completely abolish the law,” the Politico article stated. Keep Reading

Trumpocalypse In The Making?: The President Weighs Axing Four Key Aides

President Donald Trump is getting restless. His agenda has stalled, his approval rating is cratering, and the Washington D.C. establishment won’t play ball. A report has indicated a serious shake-up is likely on its way, and many heads may roll. “The advice he’s getting is to go big — that he has nothing to lose,” a source close to Trump said, according to an Axios report. “The question now is how big and how bold. I’m not sure he knows the answer to that yet.” The report claims that possible Trump administration officials in line to receive the axe include Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, chief strategist Steve Bannon, counsel Don McGahn, and press secretary Sean Spicer, but everything is up for grabs. Trump is supposedly ready for a big change, and that means nobody is safe. “He’s frustrated, and angry at everyone,” one of Trump’s confidants said. Keep Reading

Family Private Investigator: Seth Rich Contacted Wikileaks

Fox 5 DC has revealed surprising and concerning information regarding Seth Rich, the former Democrat National Committee staffer who was found murdered in Washington, DC in July 2016. Questions regarding responsibility and potential motive for the murder have remained unanswered to this point, with police unable to locate and arrest a suspect for Rich’s shooting. Suspicion circulated throughout social and alternative media after Rich’s killing, with journalists and commentators such as Mike Cernovich questioning whether Rich’s murder was carried out in order to silence him from leaking potentially politically damaging information about Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party in the run-up to the November 8th Presidential Election. However, Fox 5’s correspondence with a private investigator has revealed some suspicious details, that could be said to give credence to theories that Rich’s murder was politically motivated. Rod Wheeler- a private investigator hired to research the case by the Rich family after local authorities failed to crack the case-  gave an earnestly shocking answer when asked if Rich had any connections to Wikileaks,… Keep Reading

House Freedom Caucus Member Mo Brooks Announces Senate Run

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) is attempting to make the jump from the House over to the Senate. The ultra-conservative lawmaker officially kicked off his campaign today after making several pit stops throughout the state of Alabama. “America’s future is at risk because our country’s foundational principles are under daily attack,” Brooks said as reported by the Alabama Media Group. “Our republic is only as good as our elections process. America’s elections are threatened by those who support voter fraud and election theft by opposing voter identification laws while encouraging non-citizens to vote in American elections.” Brooks is competing for the seat vacated by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who left the Senate mid-term to serve in the Trump administration. Brooks will be competing against incumbent Senator Luther Strange, who was appointed to the seat back in February by former Gov. Robert Bentley. Bentley was forced to resign in disgrace following an embarrassing public sex scandal. He plead guilty to misdemeanor campaign-finance charges and resigned last month. Alex Jones: My Radio Show Is a Trump-Free Zone!

Conspiracy-minded radio host Alex Jones has been under fire in recent weeks undergoing a series of messy public legal battles. Jones is under so much heat that he has even warned his close ally, President Donald Trump to stay off his radio show! “The truth is I told the president — I’m like, “Down the road some time, once we’ve got the big agenda through, please come on.” And he’s like, “How about soon? how about, yeah, I want to come on. How about next week?” “Sir, I’m not sure that would be good. I’ve said a lot of things — a lot of things out of context. I’m just not sure about that.” He just paused. See. See how that works? It isn’t about me. It’s about victory,” Jones said on his radio broadcast recorded May 12. Keep Reading

White House Press Corps Refuses To Report “Real News”

Today, during the White House Press Briefing, Sean Spicer started his portion of the press briefing highlighting the new trade agreement with China. This trade agreement is a major first step by Donald Trump in reducing the current trade imbalance between the two countries. Reducing the trade imbalance with China will have a positive economic impact on the lives of everyday Americans. The China trade deal allows American beef to be imported into China for the first time in 13 years. It also allows for the importation of Liquid Natural Gas. The financial sector will also benefit as American banks can now compete for China’s credit card processing business. While these three industries will benefit, Americans will also benefit. Libertarian Party Vice Chair Releases Controversial Anti-Military Manifesto

Libertarian Party vice chair Arvin Vohra released a divisive manifesto last night deriding the institution of the military, promising a coordinated effort to counteract “the lies and bluster military recruiters use to dupe young men and women” in the months to come. “If you were tricked by military recruiters, help prevent the same thing from happening to others. Share your experiences, and speak out boldly,” Vohra said in a Facebook post that immediately generated a polarizing reaction with most of the feedback being resoundingly negative. “I don’t think someone is innately evil for being in the military, but I think that a lot of the military’s actions have been evil,” Keith Thompson said in response to Vohra’s sentiments. “Seems kind of collectivist to paint with that broad of a brush.” “As someone who thought you were quite intelligent and informed, your comments remind me why the LP will never be a relevant party,” Rumman Kay replied. “Disappointed in you, bud.” Keep Reading

Sen. Rand Paul: Democrats “Should Be Thanking President Trump” For Firing James Comey

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is ecstatic with President Trump’s move to fire former FBI Director James Comey, and is calling out Democrats who bemoan Comey’s dismissal as partisan hypocrites. “I don’t think there’s been any facts presented that anybody broke the law. … I don’t think there’s any evidence that anybody broke the law,” Paul said while appearing on a “Fox & Friends” broadcast this morning. Democratic leaders such as Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) have been forced to admit publicly that all efforts to find evidence of Trump colluding with Russian interests to unduly influence last year’s Presidential election have yielded nothing substantial. This has not stopped the Democrats from crying foul after Comey’s release though. “[Democrats] were for getting rid of Comey too, but now they’re gonna say it’s all about this Russia investigation, which hasn’t produced one iota of evidence,” Paul said. He called the talk of Russian involvement in last year’s election a “huge myth” fabricated to undermine the President. Keep Reading

Rep. Amash Flirts With Conspiracy Theories, Suggests New Investigation Over Trump’s Russian Ties

Suspecting some sort of nefarious cover-up or conspiracy, Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) is looking into investigating President Trump’s ties to Russia after he publicly fired former FBI Director James Comey yesterday. “My staff and I are reviewing legislation to establish an independent commission on Russia. The second paragraph of this letter is bizarre,” Amash said in a May 9 tweet. Amash took umbrage with the following words from Trump’s dismissal letter to Comey. It reads, “While I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation, I nevertheless concur with the judgment of the Department of Justice that you are not able to affectively lead the bureau.” Amash is jumping on the Trump/Russia conspiracy bandwagon just as prominent Democrats are admitting that there is no evidence indicating that any wrongdoing occurred. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) were forced to own up to the fact that their prolonged wild goose chase is backed by zero evidence. Keep Reading

Rep. Massie: Trumpcare “Falls Far Short” Of GOP Promises To Repeal Obamacare

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) is not afraid to go against the grain. He opposed Trump, the House GOP leadership, and even his common allies in the House Freedom Caucus by voting against the American Health Care Act (AHCA). He would not buckle under the pressure, and despite its passage by a narrow margin, Massie is not backing down. “We voted on a health-care bill for which the text was available only a few hours before the vote,” Massie said in a Highland County Press op/ed. “In fact, the Congressional Budget Office had no time to even provide Congress with a preliminary estimate of the full cost of this bill.” Massie was joined by 20 Republican legislators who voted against the revised version of the AHCA. Most of the legislators who voted against the AHCA were moderates who felt the measure went too far in repealing Obamacare. Alongside Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC) and Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Massie was one of the few who voted against the bill because they… Keep Reading

As The White House Turns: Comey Is History, McMaster Is Reportedly On The Outs

It’s never a dull moment in the Trump White House. As rival factions within the administration continue to butt heads, the casualties are beginning to mount. Embattled FBI Director James Comey was officially relieved of his duties today, and if tensions continue to mount, national security advisor H.R. McMaster may be the next to get the axe. “While I appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation,” Trump wrote in a public letter addressed to Comey informing him that he was terminated. “I nevertheless concur with the judgment of the Department of Justice that you are not able to effectively lead the Bureau.” Trump’s decision was accompanied by a public statement from Attorney General Jeff Sessions laying out the groundwork for Comey’s immediate dismissal. If reports can be believed, McMaster’s days may be numbered within the Trump administration. A Bloomberg report indicates that although Washington D.C. loves McMaster, Trump is quickly souring on the man. Keep Reading

Trump Refuses To Re-litigate Flynn’s Firing

Today, Sean Spicer fielded multiple questions from a hostile media about whether Sally Yates‘ concerns about Michael Flynn were handled properly. Spicer made clear that Flynn served this country with distinction and that the White House had no desire to re-litigate what Flynn may or may not have done. Trump asked for Flynn’s resignation and he received it. Trump cannot go back and ask Flynn for his resignation a second time. Spicer painstakingly went through the timeline between Yates voicing her concerns and Flynn being asked to resign. Yates claims that she was clear about her warning, however, the White House disputes that point. White House counsel, Don McGahn, required Yates to come back a second time to fully brief him on on Yates concerns. Trump was notified immediately of Yates’ concerns about Flynn. Keep Reading

Middle School Student Suspended For Liking An Instagram Airsoft Gun Picture

In recent years, schools have placed a greater emphasis on safety and security. Given the occurrence of school shootings, bomb threats, and other acts of violence, their need to protect students has grown more difficult. Strengthened protocols and heightened security have been an obvious result, as to ensure students cannot be harmed easily and unauthorized individuals cannot simply enter an education facility. While these developments occur, some schools are taking safety and security to extraordinary levels. Instead of protecting the building, their students and administrators, and ensuring a safe environment, they’re seeking to sanitize the thoughts of their students. Recently, a Middle School student was suspended for his activity on Instagram. Now in terms of credible threats, law enforcement has a responsibility to investigate to ensure that any risk can be properly dealt with. If someone threatens to bring a gun to a school and shoot up the student body, there is a responsibility to respond. If an individual threatens harm against an educator, administrator, student or any other individual, there… Keep Reading

White House Nationalists Strike Back Against Suspected Globalist Plant H.R. McMaster

Reports of President Trump’s disillusionment with White House national security advisor H.R McMaster have led nationalists and populists within the administration to push to reclaim lost influence over foreign affairs, unnamed White House sources claimed this week. President Trump’s frustrations with his national security advisor–the replacement of the iconoclastic Michael Flynn–were said to have reached a boiling point yesterday morning, with the President screaming at McMaster over his attempts to override President Trump and conduct diplomacy as if he were the Commander-in-Chief. McMaster supposedly guaranteed South Korea that the United States would pay for a complicated missile defense system for the Pacific nation. Trump himself had raised that prospect into question at an earlier date, as he appeared skeptical over the idea of giving billions of dollars to one of the world’s most highly developed and richest countries. McMaster earlier sought to neutralize the influence of White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon by arranging his removal from the National Security Council. This accomplished a well-known objective of neoconservatives and other… Keep Reading

“Resign Now!”: Roger Stone Slams Steve Bannon For Incompetence, Lack Of Fashion Sense

Trump’s long-time confidant, Roger Stone is not happy with what is going on in his great friend’s administration. A self-described libertarian, Stone is angry that the Trump administration is swaying from its “America First” mandate. He has isolated a peculiar target for his ire: White House chief strategist Steve Bannon. Bannon is seen as the primary voice for nationalism within the Trump administration, but his work has not pleased Stone. Stone went on a Twitter rampage against the publisher turned political oracle last week criticizing his organizational ability, his lack of competency, his poor dressing ability, and claiming he is apart of the problem for his inability to keep Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner at bay. “@StevenKBannon Resign Now! You refuse to confront @jaredkushner – u (sic) are part of the problem not part of the solution,” Stone said in a May 5 Tweet. Former Director Of National Intelligence James Clapper Again Lies To Congress

There’s a common assumption in American politics that once you reach a certain status, justice is below you. It was a point frequently made about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as she ran against then-candidate Donald Trump. Despite lower level leaks receiving harsh punishments for their actions, her recklessness and poor handling of classified information went unpunished. Given Clinton’s status in American political culture, many people were not overly surprised. Then there is the case of former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, who again appeared before Congress today. This time it was alongside former acting Attorney General Sally Yates to discuss the issue of alleged Russian interference in last year’s presidential election. Keep Reading

Heroic Nationalists Expose True Colors Of Craven Libertarians And Conservatives

After globalist liberal candidate Emmanuel Macron defeated his populist nationalist opponent Marine Le Pen in yesterday’s French run-off election, American “free marketeers” are rejoicing. The French people have lost their pride, given up their right to self-determination, and erased any semblance of national sovereignty. This is cause of celebration for cosmopolitan libertarians and conservatives, who are ecstatic that the status quo remains intact for their oligarchical masters. “The election of Marine Le Pen in France’s presidential election on Sunday would have been bad news for France, for the United States, and for the world,” Dalibor Rohac of the American Enterprise Institute said in a FOX News op/ed. “Le Pen is no friend of conservatism… Frexit, which would have been likely accompanied by a default on France’s sovereign debt, could trigger a global financial panic of a magnitude far exceeding the experience of 2008 and 2009.” The European Union, a globalist entity filled with international bureaucrats setting an authoritarian agenda for an entire continent, will be preserved. Sen. Rand Paul: ‘Numerous Sources’ Are Claiming That Obama Spied On Me!

Earlier this year, President Trump made national headlines when he claimed that he was wiretapped by his predecessor, Barack Obama. Months later, Sen. I don’t have access to that information, but I’ve been very concerned that too many Americans’ information is being culled through without a warrant,” Paul said to Breitbart News in an exclusive interview. Although Paul makes it clear that he does not have evidence to substantiate his claim at the present moment, he is being alerted by credible sources that the surveillance did take place. Paul not only wants answers, but also wants to make sure that this type of spying isn’t used by government officials for the purposes of social control. Keep Reading

#MacronLeaks: French Presidential Candidate Targeted By Mass Leaks

Earlier today, a treasure trove of leaked emails and documents pertaining to centrist French Presidential Candidate Emmanuel Macron was released on the internet. “The En Marche! At this time it remains unclear who was responsible for the hack and what exact documents have been released. Wikileaks has begun publicizing the leaks on Twitter; however, it appears the leak originated from a different source. The nine gigabytes of files were uploaded to Pastebin by an anonymous user named “EMLEAKS,” and later featured on 4chan’s infamous /pol/ imageboard. Currently, the treasure trove of files are being reviewed for documents relevant to the public interest. The massive leak follows recent accusations and earlier leaked documents suggesting that Macron was implicated in money laundering in the Cayman Islands. Sen. Rand Paul Is ‘Not Too Excited’ About Health Care Reform, Still Undecided On AHCA

Although all but one legislator in the House Freedom Caucus approved a revised version of the American Health Care Act (AHCA), Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is not yet convinced. He told “Your World with Neil Cavuto” during yesterday’s broadcast that the proposed reform has a ways to go before he is willing to approve it. “It’s going to take a little bit of work to get me to a ‘yes’ vote, but I do have an open mind,” Paul said to Cavuto. “There’s not been a louder voice up here for replacing ObamaCare. I really want to repeal it. I just don’t want to replace it with ‘ObamaCare lite’ or another federal program.” Fellow Kentuckian, Rep. BREAKING: Rep. Justin Amash Caves On Trumpcare, Votes ‘YES’ On AHCA

Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) has established himself as the face of the principled opposition against President Donald Trump within the Republican Party, but his health care vote suggests that he is softening his stance. The prominent “Never Trumper” cast an affirmative vote today for the American Health Care Act (AHCA), which passed. Although a roll call vote is currently unavailable, reporters such as Dean Clancy of the Hill and Cameron Joseph of the New York Daily News confirmed on Twitter that Amash is one of the lawmakers who voted for the legislation. Although Amash gave an impression that he was deliberating until the last minute about the vote, claims from prominent political figures cast doubt on his story. Haley Byrd of the Independent Journal Review tweeted this morning, “Labrador and Amash are chatting on the House floor. Labrador is a yes, Amash undecided. Sen. Rand Paul On $1 Trillion Spending Bill: “Are Democrats Still The Minority Party?”

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is angry yet again at the conniving nature of his own political party. Congressional Republicans unveiled their omnibus spending bill this week, which appropriates over $1 trillion dollars in new spending. This gives a huge political victory to the Democrats, Paul claimed in his Breitbart op/ed published Tuesday. “You’ll see it in the news as an “Omnibus spending bill,” when it should really be called “the Status Quo Protection Act.” President Hillary Clinton would have been proud of this bill,” Paul said. “It tosses out campaign promises as it continues to fund the military industrial complex and the welfare state.” Under the new plan pushed by Republican congressional leaders such as Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), the annual deficit would remain over $500 billion. Paul noted that mainstream media commentators have noted that the spending bill cannot be differentiated from Obama-era budgets, which were the most bloated in all of American history. Keep Reading

Inside The War Room: Steve Bannon’s White Board Reveals Trump’s Ambitious Agenda

President Trump’s chief strategist Steve Bannon posed for a photo op yesterday with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach in his infamous war room inside the White House. Giving a slight glimpse into how the White House is run behind the scenes, Bannon’s white board can be viewed in the background of the picture. Containing many ambitious goals pertaining to immigration in partial view, the white board makes it clear that border security is the focal point of Bannon’s work. Immigration pledges include tripling the number of ICE enforcement agents, suspending the Syrian refugee resettlement program, ending the controversial ‘catch-and-release’ policy, and hiring 5,000 more border patrol agents. Tasks that have been achieved were checkmarked while other promises have yet to be fulfilled. There are more pledges that were obfuscated from view in the picture, including an entire section related to health care that was barely visible in the shot. Reports regarding Bannon’s influence on President Trump have conflicted in recent weeks. It was believed that Bannon was the dog house after… Keep Reading

Presidents Trump & Putin Discuss Syria: Seeking Common Ground, Cooperation

President Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin via phone today about potential solutions to the ongoing Syrian Civil War. The world leaders agreed that the time has come for the destructive and brutal conflict to come to a peaceful conclusion. In the official White House readout of the phone call, the conversation was described as a “very good one, and included the discussion of safe, or de-escalation, zones to achieve lasting peace for humanitarian and many other reasons.” Ongoing cooperation between Russia and the United States with regards to the conflict would represent a break from traditional U.S foreign policy. As a candidate Trump shocked the Republican Party’s foreign policy establishment by resolving to work with Putin on the situation, even referring to anti-Russia hawks as “stupid people.” President Trump resolved to send an official U.S Representative to peace talks between the Syrian government and rebels in Kazakhstan occurring May 3-4. A Tipsy, Candid Nigel Farage Admits His Bromance With Trump Has Hit The Skids

During  a public debate at Purdue University, Dr. David Sanders, associate professor of biology at Purdue, was in the middle of a rebuttal to abortion activist Seth Drayer‘s opening statement when he unexpectedly leveled child pornography charges at Drayer’s organization, Created Equal. “He thinks fetuses are children, and he belongs to an organization that likes to show images of fetuses – and that’s something that’s a trademark,” Sanders began. “What would you call the public display of a butt-naked body of a child? I would call that child pornography.” He expanded on the accusation by questioning whether Created Equal had received consent for the images they use. “Do they have the permission of the fetus? Obviously not. Do they have the permission of the parents to show these images of children, naked children, their naked children?” Sanders… Keep Reading

Showdown In Pikeville, Kentucky

On April 29, the Traditional Workers Party, joined by the League of the South and other right-wing factions, held a rally in Pikeville, Kentucky. It was, as one would expect, met with much controversy and counter-protest. This rally was only a portion of a weekend-long conference which included sessions on various topics, such as national socialist ideology and self-defense. The event had been planned since February, with several counter-protests planned shortly after the TWP announced its intended presence; merely a couple of days before the event, however, most official efforts to counter the national socialists were canceled due to security concerns. As everyone has learned in recent months, though, Antifa can always be counted on to show up to any form of right-wing demonstration, apparently even in small-town, rural Kentucky. Interesting enough, neither they nor the TWP seemed to have any locals within their ranks and were largely from out of town. This was understandably frowned upon by locals. “We wish everyone would go home peacefully and give our… Keep Reading

House Freedom Caucus Members Introduce El Chapo Act

On Thursday, several House Freedom Caucus members introduced the El Chapo Act, the House companion bill to Sen. Ted Cruz’s proposal to fund Trump’s border wall without the use of taxpayer dollars. The El Chapo Act was introduced by Rep. Mo Brooks and cosponsored by Congressmen Tom Garrett, Steve King, and Louie Gohmert – all members of the House Freedom Caucus. Rep. Kevin Brady, who is not a member of the House Freedom Caucus, also cosponsored the bill. The introduction of the El Chapo Act in the House comes in the midst of debate in Congress about whether to fund the construction of Trump’s border wall and how it could be done. Last week, Congressional leadership stripped the budget of funding for the border wall. Keep Reading

Sen. Rand Paul Comes Out In Favor Of President Trump’s Tax Plan

President Donald Trump officially announced his tax plan last week, and he will need some powerful allies in the legislature if he hopes to get it passed. He already has one in Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, who will put his conservative bonafides behind Trump’s initiative. “I like it because it’s bold. I like it because it cuts taxes and it doesn’t play games and say we’re going to shift taxes around and it’s going to be revenue neutral. It does cut taxes. It take less money. It sends less money to the federal government. I say, if you want to defeat the beast, you’ve got to starve the beast. That means don’t send more money to Washington,” Paul said on a Pennsylvania talk radio program last week in favor of Trump’s tax plan. Last week, Trump offered a general outline of his upcoming tax plan with more specific details to be released later. Trump aims to cut the top rate of individuals from 39.6 percent to 35 percent, and… Keep Reading

Heritage Foundation Shake-Up: Jim DeMint Out, Steve Bannon In?

A rumored shake-up at the Heritage Foundation has conservatives on high alert. Former Sen. Jim DeMint, a champion for conservative values while in the legislature, is expected to lose his post as Heritage President. A name floated as his potential replacement is White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, the controversial paleoconservative who previously served as CEO of Breitbart News. Adding more fuel to the fire was an exchange between FOX News journalist Chris Wallace and Heritage Action CEO Michael Needham this morning. When pressed by Wallace, Needham refused to deny rumors that Bannon will be the next Heritage leader. “There are a lot of stories out that Jim DeMint, the head of the Heritage Foundation, is going to be out and that Steve Bannon may become the new head, that this is going to be his safety net as he is forced out of the White House,” Wallace asked Needham on a “Fox News Sunday” broadcast. “What can you tell us?” Needham refused to give a straight answer to… Keep Reading

President Trump To Saudi Arabia: Time To Pay Your Fair Share!

Saudi Arabia has been a key strategic ally for the United States for many years, and President Donald Trump has been careful not to jeopardize that relationship. He approved a massive weapons deal with the Saudis and is carefully considering making a diplomatic visit to the country in the near future. However, Trump recently made it clear that this relationship must be a two-way street. “Frankly, Saudi Arabia has not treated us fairly, because we are losing a tremendous amount of money in defending Saudi Arabia,” Trump said in a Reuters interview last week. Previously, Trump had criticized Saudi Arabia on the campaign trail while running for President by expressing similar sentiments. Trump claimed that the Saudis were benefiting greatly from their privileged relationship with the United States, but the arrangement was not being properly reciprocated. “Nobody’s going to mess with Saudi Arabia because we’re watching them,” Trump said at a campaign rally in Wisconsin last year. “They’re not paying us a fair price. We’re losing our shirt.” Keep Reading

Rep. Thomas Massie: Trump Has ‘Exceeded Expectations’

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) suggested to the Washington Examiner on Friday that he is pleased with Trump’s progress so far, echoing his previous remarks in an interview with Breitbart. Referring to his colleagues in the House of Representatives, he said, “I think [Trump] has probably exceeded their expectations, frankly.” Massie then repeated his prior praise of Trump’s action on the TPP, and accused his colleagues of not giving Trump enough credit for the move. “You don’t hear that mentioned much because probably a lot of Republicans weren’t with him on that, and none of the Democrats want to give him credit for it.” Keep Reading

Amid Soaring Asylum Requests, House Bill Would Give Amnesty To Venezuelan Illegals

A bipartisan bill introduced in the House of Representatives on Wednesday would give Venezuelan refugees and illegal immigrants a path to legal residency and eventual citizenship in the United States. The bill, called the Venezuelan Refugee Assistance Act, was introduced by Carlos Curbelo (R-FL) and Darren Soto (D-FL). The bill was cosponsored by Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL). “For over a decade, thousands of Venezuelans were forced to flee the brutal Chavez dictatorship, and now, the situation has not improved under his hand-picked successor, Nicolas Maduro,” Curbelo said, citing the socialist government’s political violence. “This bill will allow Venezuelan nationals who have made a new home in the United States to remain here if they choose to, since it is too dangerous to return home.” Keep Reading

Sen. Mike Lee To Trump: Quit Funneling Taxpayer Money To George Soros!

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) has been very vocal in his criticisms of President Trump, going back to the dysfunctional campaign season that put Trump at bitter odds with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). Now, Lee is trying to warn Trump that taxpayer funds are being funneled directly into the pockets of his sworn enemies. “Whatever one’s views about abortion, energy regulation, alternative family structures, they are neither core international priorities of the American people, nor essential to American national security. They are domestic political controversies, pet causes of a sort of privileged, globalist elite,” Lee said in a speech at The Heritage Foundation this week. Sen. Lee and Trump were at odds for the greater part of 2016. Lee, a top proponent of Sen. Cruz’ presidential campaign last year, was one of the main people leading the charge against Trump on the floor of last year’s contentious Republican National Convention. Since then, tensions have eased and both men are focused on similar goals. Keep Reading

Milo Incorporated: Inside The Conservative Provocateur’s New $12 Million Trolling Empire

After teasing a big announcement for many days, Milo Yiannopoulos has finally delivered by announcing the formation of a trolling empire that may shake the foundation of politically correct society right down to its very core! “This isn’t some vanity nameplate on a personal blog. This is a fully tooled-up talent factory and management company dedicated to the destruction of political correctness and the progressive left,” Yiannopoulos said in a public statement about his new operation called MILO Inc. Despite being just announced, MILO Inc. already boasts $12 million dollars in shadow capital from undisclosed donors. If Yiannopoulos’ announcement is any indicator, it does not seem like this big money investment is going to restrain Milo. From his bold words, he plans to be as controversial and untethered as ever in his return. MILO Inc. has already announced Free Speech Week at UC Berkeley, scheduled tentatively for the fall. Yiannopoulos will give out the inaugural Mario Savio Award for Free Speech, named for the late Berkeley activist best remembered… Keep Reading

Coup At Heritage Foundation: Freedom Caucus-aligned DeMint To Be Ousted By Establishment

Former Senator Jim DeMint is set to be imminently ousted from his position as President of the Heritage Foundation according to a new report by Politico. Heritage board members aligned with the Republican establishment are set to announce they will not renew DeMint’s contract, which ends later this year, within the coming days. During the Bush administration, the Heritage Foundation was broadly supportive of the Republican establishment, providing strong support for Bush’s foreign and domestic policies. DeMint resigned his Senate seat in 2013 in order to take his current position at the Heritage Foundation, and has since radically shifted the organization to the right. Keep Reading

Ron Paul To Interview Julian Assange Today On His Liberty Report

Libertarian stalwart Ron Paul will broadcast an interview with Wikileaks’ Julian Assange today, following recent news of President Trump’s Department of Justice potentially pursuing criminal charges against the controversial whistleblower. “The CIA has been deeply humiliated as a result of our ongoing publications so this is a preemptive move by the CIA to try and discredit our publications and create a new category for Wikileaks and other national security reporters to strip them of First Amendment protections,” Assange said in a teaser clip from the interview that will air today at Noon on the Ron Paul Liberty Report. After celebrating its ten year anniversary in 2016, Wikileaks has stepped up their operations considerably. They published leaked e-mails of top Democratic Party operatives last October, possibly swinging the election in Trump’s favor. This prompted then-candidate Trump to infamously say, “I love WikiLeaks!” Keep Reading

President Trump Stands Firm On Trade, Promises NAFTA Overhaul

President Donald Trump has been admonished by his supporters due to a bevy of broken campaign promises, but on the crucial issue of trade, he has not wavered. Trump re-affirmed today that the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) would be renegotiated under terms more favorable for American workers or trashed completely. “I decided rather than terminating NAFTA, which would be a pretty big, you know, shock to the system, we will renegotiate,” Trump said to reporters in the White House. “Now, if I’m unable to make a fair deal, if I’m unable to make a fair deal for the United States, meaning a fair deal for our workers and our companies, I will terminate NAFTA. But we’re going to give renegotiation a good, strong shot.” Reports circulated earlier in the week that Trump was preparing to sign an executive order to remove the United States from NAFTA immediately, similar to how he terminated American involvement in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) in January. Trump has walked back those sentiments,… Keep Reading
