Betsy DeVos: Opening The Hearts And Minds Of America

President-Elect Donald Trump’s new Education Secretary, Betsy DeVos, is the best pick in the history of the Department of Education since its inception, in this veteran teacher’s opinion. With her school choice prescription, she is just the medicine that a failing educational system needs to restore it to health. Her long time support of the Charter school movement is one key reform element, but the one that will be transformational will be vouchers or tax credits for any private school a parent decides to send their child to. The public school monopoly, headed by the National Education Association, is the greatest impediment to competition and reform and will fight tooth and nail to protect their turf and the view that children ultimately belong to the state rather than the parent. America is one of the few western nations that does not give aid to private k-12 religious schools, only to religious colleges. Betsy DeVos can change that oversight with the 20 billion dollar block grant that Trump has proposed to… Keep Reading

Defend Our President From The Warfare State

Old habits die hard in the CIA.  Overthrowing democratically elected governments is one of those bad habits, but this time it’s our government. Through anonymous sources in the Deep State, it is alleged in the George Soros affiliated Washington Post, that Russian hackers handed the White House to Donald Trump: “The CIA has concluded in a secret assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump win the presidency, rather than just to undermine confidence in the U.S. electoral system, according to officials briefed on the matter.” The Trump team hit back hard, pointing out that this is the same group that misled us with false stories of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, so why should we believe them now when they are trying to blatantly interfere in our electoral process?    Julian Assange, who is in a position to know the facts, has categorically denied that there was any Russian involvement, and instead has stated that he did not receive hacked emails but leaked emails from insiders in… Keep Reading

Total War: Fight Fire With Fire

The political left wins because it follows the tactic of total and continual war. It does not walk away from any election with the idea that combat can wait until the next election cycle. More importantly, they often make their biggest gains when out of power, precisely because they position themselves as “aggrieved” and “offended” and do not need to compromise to try to pass legislation. “Fake News” is just another one of their tactics. We are all talking about it now because the Left is very capable in defining the topics of the time, as a result of their near total control of academia, journalism and the media. Trump is also a master of defining the topics about which we discuss, but the question remains to what extent he will do so in a way that benefits conservatism generally.  Hopefully, with the addition of Breitbart’s media genius Stephen Bannon in his administration, he will be able to fight fire with fire. Bolton, Giuliani Out, Congressman Rohrabacher In For Secretary Of State

According to the Washington Examiner, concerns are increasing for President-elect Trump’s top two picks to run the State Department: Rudy Giuliani and John Bolton.  Sources say the Trump transition team is now considering California Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, a leading House foreign policy expert. Rohrabacher, who once worked as a Reagan speechwriter and a House member since 1989, emerged Tuesday night as a possible Trump pick.  He is much more aligned with Trump on foreign policy, immigration and global warming issues. October Surprise Over Syria’s Skies?

You may not have read about this in the mainstream news, but The Wall Street Journal  reported that there was a Russian air strike in June on a CIA-linked base which was a part of a campaign by Russia to pressure Obama to agree to closer cooperation over the Syrian skies, according to U.S. military and intelligence officials.   Four rebels were killed in that attack near the Jordanian border in the attempt to coax Obama to the negotiating table.  Possibly the Russians were upset that the US would not share any intelligence with them, so they may have sent a message with the “accidental” strike of how dangerous that policy was.  Eventually, the Russian strategy worked and both sides had agreed to more cooperation in September between their militaries.  Then in September,  in a tit for tat attack and an attempt to escalate the conflict in which Obama’s Al Qaeda/Saudi Arabia affiliated allies have been losing badly to the Russians and their allies, the Obama administration deliberately struck the known Syrian Army post… Keep Reading

Meet The New Boss Same As The Old Boss

“On the very first day of 2016, news agencies reported a bizarre story out of Turkey. At a press conference, President Recep  Erdogan referred to “Hitler’s Germany” as an example of the political system he proposes for his country — “a presidential system with a unitary state.” Hitler had his Reichstag and Erdogan his staged coup as he is following Hitler’s lead to a T.  We can see the same kind of aggressive recklessness in  Erdogan’s shoot down of a Russian Jet and support of ISIS terrorists in Iraq and Syria and saber rattling with Greece and Armenia.  Turkey does not have one friendly neighbor due to its sociopathic foreign policy.   If Erdogan follows the plan further, he will continue to reserve power in the Presidency and take it away from the century old Military, Judiciary and Parliamentary systems which is exactly what he is doing in his counter coup. The Ron Paul Institute noted:  “We don’t have to remind readers that when military coups take place in the middle-east, they… Keep Reading

The Intolerance Of The Left

D.W. Griffith the great American silent film director, depicts acts of intolerance throughout history in his epic movie by the same name.  The history of man is highlighted by such inhumane acts as the Persian conquest of Babylon over religious differences and the crucifixion of Jesus brought about by the Pharisees who violently disagreed with his views. Ultimately, the goodness of eternal motherhood wins out over the inhumanity of man towards those he differs with.  Today a modern story of intolerance is being played out in the streets of America as those on the far left try to intimidate and beat down supporters of Donald Trump at peaceful assemblies of those who wish to hear how the businessman turned politician would “make  America great again”. What we have witnessed over this primary season is unprecedented.  Thousands of paid organizers from Moveon.org, SEIU and other radical left-wing organizations have disrupted and shut down rallies of those they disagree with in a bold attack on the first amendment and American values. … Keep Reading

Tim Donnelly, Patriot, Not a Politician Running For Congress In California

April 23rd at Riley’s Farm, at a fundraiser billed “A Night with the Stars”,  8th California congressional candidate Tim Donnelly had endorsements from such notables as Comedian Rob Schneider,  “Dallas” Actress Morgan Brittney,  “Politichicks” Ann-Marie Morell and Michelle Malkin.   At the dinner several firearms were raffled off and Mr. Donnelly mixed with the ethnically diverse crowd who embrace his conservative ideals in what is the 87th most conservative district in the country. One such person was Anthony Harris who commented on why he supports Donnelly against the establishment. “I’ve been supporting Tim Donnelly since he ran for governor.  Unfortunately he didn’t win that race.  That race was an absolute travesty as Donnelly was ahead in the polls but at the last minute the likes of Romney and Jeb Bush and congressman Darell Issa, so called “Republicans”, decided to run a very nasty smear campaign by promoting a “more electable”(liberal) Neal Kashkari. “The reason why I support Tim Donnelly is because he is a great conservative.  He supports our second… Keep Reading

Coming Soon! The Return Of The Republicans!

Sometimes I don’t know whether to kick the Supreme Court or kiss it.  As America  seemingly turns to the left, albeit by judicial fiat,  the Right will have its revenge in 2016 via the legitimate voice of the people, the ballot box.  This is where real change happens.  A few black robed tyrants in narrow decisions on Obamacare and “Gay Marriage” may impose their  will on the American people for  a spell, but we the people still have the ultimate check on a court run amok and now have a rallying cry to overturn these political/judicial decisions.     Such revolutionary change to our fundamental values should never be made by the courts, instead the people through our representative government should resolve these controversial issues.  By giving conservatives a reason to mobilize and organize, Republicans will be in the driver seat and beat the Dems like a piñata with these flawed  Supreme Court decisions.  Congress can also nullify this Supreme court ruling by  defunding  any effort to enforce gay marriage and Obamacare. I… Keep Reading

When Leftists Attack

“So Rand Paul,   you’ve been beating your wife all these years,  when will you stop beating your wife?”   It’s a fair question, if you are a leftist media hack who just wants to score points for your cultural Marxist team, rather than engage in intelligent discussion.   On Rand Paul’s  initial announcement of his presidential candidacy, the leftwing media was out in unison trying to smear the biggest threat in the GOP primary to their top contender, Hillary Clinton,  who Rand is outpolling in key swing states. Rand Paul handled himself masterfully in his interviews  and if I were advising him I wouldn’t change a thing and here’s why:   When  Savannah Guthrie of leftwing MSNBC  goes into her interview by trying to frame the discussion with misleading and false information Rand doesn’t allow her to control the discussion and makes sure he gets time to answer.  That is what he needs to do in every discussion with interviewers who have an agenda no matter what names the media may call… Keep Reading

Is Russia The Real Enemy Of The American People?

Why the demonization of Putin by Glenn Beck and other western media?  First off, let me just say that I enjoy watching many programs on the Blaze, but on Russia, Glenn is listening to the wrong people.   Glenn Beck has recently put out a one sided three part series ominously called, “The Red Storm” which caricatures Russia as an end times force of the “anti-christ” focused on destroying the west.  While the background history on the split between the Orthodox east and Catholic west was well done, the modern analysis falls apart and is easily refuted with just a cursory review of online sources.  Thank God for the internet and the ability to sift through the spin.  So why are western media  trying to turn Russia into the next Bogeyman? Recall that the vassal western media portrayed everything the buffoon Boris Yeltsin did as a move away from communism and towards democracy, but everything Putin has done is “bad and sinister”.  Glenn follows in this vein with his series and seems… Keep Reading

The Real Story Behind The Riots, Legalized Plunder

Just last month my friend and photo radar expert Shawn Dow told me that the real reason behind the police protests in Ferguson was the automatic ticketing photo radar machines that had been put in place by local governments to raise revenue.  This has caused incredible harm on the poor in the community and frustration towards their police force which was becoming increasingly more militarized and disconnected from the public because of poor decisions made by the local politicians.  Upon further investigation the facts prove this to be the case. This anger at camera speeding tickets, not an apparently justified police shooting, was the long simmering motivation behind the riots.  Michael Brown was just the poor excuse to vent frustrations at the system that is shaking them down.  Unjust laws meant to fleece the public create resentment and disrespect for the law and those who enforce them.  It has been shown that these machines do not increase safety and in fact cause accidents to spike.  Missouri State representative  Courtney Curtis stated… Keep Reading

Why The Fair Tax Beats The Tar Out Of The Income Tax

If you haven’t seen “UnFair the  Movie”, I highly recommend getting the DVD.  John Sullivan, the same producer of “2016: Obama’s America” and “Expelled:  No Intelligence Allowed”,  took the unfair title from the language of the left.  Polling shows that Americans respond very favorably to the term unfair.  UnFair the movie was released “Michael Moore” style with a  great  grass roots promotion of this documentary which focuses on  the abuses of the IRS. What we have here is an IRS which is not about revenue but  about intimidating and harrassing people and is all powerful controlling our politics, faith and the economy.  The current system is not just unfair,  it’s immoral.  It  violates at least four areas of the Constitution.  First  amendment religious and political expression is violated by the “Johnson Amendment” which seeks to regulate churches and 501c organizations via their tax exemption status.   The fourth amendment guarantees the right to privacy- yet we have a totalitarian IRS which says you have 2 weeks to give us all of… Keep Reading

Cruzin For a Bruisin

A funny thing happened to Senator Ted Cruz on his way to an “In Defense of Christians” event,  he turned it into a rally for Israel and an attack on Christians who disagree with his narrow views.  When a hit piece on the conference alleged that one of the Lebanese Patriarchs had worked with Hezbollah against ISIS,  according to Reinvented Daddy, the senator decided to deploy his “hate-seeking Cruz missiles” and ditch the group in order to score points with  the Israeli lobby. First of all he showed his Philistine ways by confusing  the purpose of the event and who his audience was and made outrageous allegations towards members of the group.  These Christian leaders are in a life and death struggle with ISIS and didn’t need the senator to pile on top of the most persecuted group in the world, Middle Eastern Christians.  Amazingly the group was able to cobble together the Patriarchs of the Middle East of various squabbling denominations.  What brought them together was a focus… Keep Reading

The Confessions Of a Once Raging Liberal

In my first year at the university, a friend of mine referred to me as a raging liberal.  I was very involved in the peace movement and still believe that offensive war is a failure of governments to solve disagreements in a rational way.  While I disagree vigorously with the postmodern association of “liberalism” as being synonymous with relativism, I am a liberal in the classic sense in that I believe in the free exchange of ideas and the ability of reason to determine between the good and the evil, the beautiful and the ugly and the intelligent and the ignorant.  Unlike the relativist who has a hard time making judgments, this ability to discriminate is the true sign of an enlightened individual. As a confused and misguided college youth, I flirted with the dead end of liberalism and in hindsight, would certainly do some things differently.  Like Reagan who came out of the left, I found it much more dangerous to our Republic than anything on the right.… Keep Reading

“By The Waters Of Babylon We Sat And Wept”

“By the Waters of Babylon” by Don McLean Iraq,  once known as the “cradle of civilization” may soon come to be known as the  “graveyard of civilization.”  The first laws, writing, astronomy and math were all gifts that Mesopotamia gave to advance civilization.  The most famous Mesopotamian from Ur of the Chaldeans, was Abraham,  the  patriarch of the three great religions; Christianity, Judaism and Islam.  Today the land  is being torn apart by religion and foreign intervention.  After the creation of Israel, most of the once large and thriving ancient Jewish community in Iraq fled.  My father came from Iraq to America in 1952 because he realized that Iraq was not a nation for a Christian man to raise a family.  He was an indigenous Chaldean who spoke Aramaic, the language of Christ, and wanted to be free to practice his Catholic faith. The number of  Christians who have emigrated from Iraq is over 1 million and increasing since the most recent societal breakdown. Soon the indigenous Christians could disappear… Keep Reading

America, Declare Your Independence From The Fed!

Once upon a time in America our grandfathers were able to work at decent jobs where they actually produced goods that the world needed and were able to provide a comfortable life for their large families.  Grandma didn’t have to work  and most families owned their own homes and lived relatively debt free. Welcome to America today where a typical family has both parents working, with  one or possibly two children,  and struggle to pay the rent on their apartment. But the banks in their “concern” for the woes of the average Joe have come up with a solution. It is called the credit card where we can become debt slaves to the banks to the tune of double-digit interest rates. What has happened to weaken the once thriving American economy we inherited from our forefathers? It’s called the Federal Reserve and its offspring inflation. This invisible tax slowly eats away at the value of the dollar and distorts the economy by creating booms and busts. We can thank the Federal Reserve for… Keep Reading
