The Liberty Conservative Endorses Roy Moore In AL Senate Race

The Liberty Conservative has announced that it is endorsing Judge Roy Moore in the special election for U.S. Senate in Alabama. Moore is set to face establishment stalwart Sen. Luther Strange in Tuesday’s primary runoff. Roy Moore’s record shows that he is a man of principle, and a proven defender of constitutionally limited government and states’ rights. If elected, Moore has pledged to stand up to Mitch McConnell, and to stand with Senate conservatives such as Rand Paul and Mike Lee. By contrast, Strange, a former Washington lobbyist, is being propped up to the tune of $8 million by McConnell-linked… Keep Reading

US Success Against ISIS In Syria Comes With Steep Human Cost

In Raqqa, Syria, the US military and allied forces are advancing rapidly against ISIS. They estimate that the ISIS forces remaining in the city are between 500 and 900, down sharply from the totals in June. With Donald Trump replacing Barack Obama as US President, terrorists no longer have a safe haven in Syria and other parts of the Middle East. “We have almost completed our job – Daesh (ISIS) now only controls less than 15 per cent of Raqqa,” said Haval Kané, a warrior with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), said to The Sun. “They are holding out in… Keep Reading

The Graham-Cassidy Bill Is Effectively Dead

Republicans are down to the wire in making a last ditch effort to tear down the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. But like all the times before, it appears as though the latest GOP incarnation of Obamacare Lite will fall short in Congress. Despite last minute efforts to save the legislation crafted by Senators Bill Cassidy (R-LA) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC), the votes aren’t there. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has been a defiant voice against the legislation for some time now, labeling it Obamacare Lite and Obamacare 2.0. Through tweets and interviews, he has listed his grievances against the… Keep Reading

We Have To Stop Fighting The Russia-Trump Probe

Recently, new and damning revelations have surfaced in the Robert Mueller inquiry into the alleged Russia-Trump collusion during the 2016 election. Undeniably, many on the right and the left are in shock at the level of depth Mueller and his team prosecutors have gone to unravel the mystery. In essence, they are asking the questions of “what happened,” “who,” and “why?” With this in mind, many on the right—especially in Trump’s base—need to accept the fact that the investigation is reaching an unprecedented level after the allegations of Russian-linked tinkering in the 2016 election were revealed. Yes, it is drawn… Keep Reading

RINO Primary Challenger Scheduled As Warmup Speaker For Bannon At Berkeley Free Speech Rally

All eyes within the pro-Trump movement are currently on Milo Yiannopoulos’s much-hyped ‘Free Speech Week’ event in Berkeley, which is scheduled to take place next week. Most of the attention is being focused on Day 4 of the event, when the most high profile speakers – conservative commentator Ann Coulter, YouTube personality Sargon of Akkad, former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, and Yiannopoulos himself – are scheduled to address attendees. However, the speaker list for that day also lists an apparent warmup speaker for these individuals, someone named ‘Stelion Onufrei’. At first glance, the relatively unknown Onufrei may be… Keep Reading

Fake News Tries To Downplay Kid Rock’s Senate Chances With Suspect Poll

Kid Rock’s Senate prospects have never looked brighter, but the mainstream media is trying to throw a wrench into all of that. They pushed a poll that showed that Kid Rock is far behind his prospective opponent, Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI). The Marketing Resource Group, a Michigan-based polling firm, claims that Kid Rock, real name Robert Ritchie, is losing to Stabenow by a massive 52-to-34 percent margin. The Detroit Free Press, a liberal rag who Kid Rock banned from covering his concerts are reveling in the news. “If Kid Rock is serious about running for the U.S. Senate in Michigan,… Keep Reading

Government Regulation And Crony Capitalism Is Keeping Thousands In Florida Without Power

Almost two weeks have passed since Hurricane Irma made landfall in South Florida, yet tens of thousands remain without power. With temperatures regularly eclipsing over 90 degrees, these outages are not only a grave inconvenience for Floridians cleaning up after the storm, but have proved to be deadly. Given the power of Irma, it is not surprising that it has left behind incredible devastation. Unfortunately it is also not surprising that it is a government-protected utility that has done the most to impede recovery. The pain and suffering currently being felt is the direct result of government policy and the… Keep Reading

Berkeley Assault Victim Still Looking For Justice As Police Drag Their Heels

The law enforcement of Berkeley, CA has shown repeatedly that they have no concern for the basic civil rights of conservative Americans, and that is clear by their treatment of assault victim Celeste Paradise. Paradise was accosted at a Ben Shapiro event hosted by UC-Berkeley occurring one week ago. The incident was first reported on social media by Kyle ‘Based Stickman’ Chapman that the woman was stabbed at the Shapiro event, but that turned out to be a false report. Although Paradise was assaulted by leftist ANTIFA terrorists, she was never stabbed. Her story was described in full detail in… Keep Reading

Actor Participating In Anti-Trump Propaganda Video Was Accused Of Incest

Iconic Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman appeared in a propaganda film released this week propagating neo-McCathyist lies against President Trump and Russia to delegitimize last year’s election results. Considering the man’s checkered past, it is no surprise that he would embark on such a disreputable campaign. Freeman was accused years ago of having a bizarre incestuous relationship with his now deceased step grand-daughter. Back in 2009, Freeman failed his wife, Myrna, and was in the process of abandoning their relationship of 25 years. Many outlets reported that he left Myrna to become romantically involved with E’Dena Hines, Freeman’s step grand-daughter who… Keep Reading

Rand Paul Backs Tillerson In Trump Administration’s Internal Iran Deal Dispute

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has called for the United States to remain in the Iran nuclear deal, providing new negotiations regarding restricting Iran’s ballistic missiles are conducted, in an interview with Politico. In doing so, he has backed the position of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, who is said to favor maintaining the nuclear agreement with Iran, albeit with some modifications to strengthen the current arrangement. Tillerson’s position echoes that of Trump’s during the 2016 presidential campaign period. Both Trump and his campaign advisers argued that while they did not support the Iran deal, they would respect the fact that a deal… Keep Reading

President Trump Bets On Big Loser, Cannot Fill Seats In Alabama For Luther Strange Rally

Once again, President Donald Trump was played for a sap by the GOP establishment. After endorsing Sen. Mitch McConnell’s crony Luther Strange against his hard-right constitutional challenger last month, Trump is now planning to stump for Strange this Friday. There is only one problem though: Nobody is showing up to hear Trump’s doublespeak. Robert Bentley. Organizers are downsizing to a smaller venue than… Keep Reading

Trump’s China-Sanctions Madness Imperils The Dollar

Last week US Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin warned the US will impose new sanctions on China if it doesn’t conform to UN sanctions on North Korea: “If China doesn’t follow these sanctions, we will put additional sanctions on them and prevent them from accessing the U.S. and international dollar system, and that’s quite meaningful.” In other words, the administration wants to sanction one of the US’s biggest trading partners, and the world’s second-largest economy. China is the world’s third-largest recipient of Americans exports, behind only Canada and Mexico. China is the world’s largest source of imports for Americans, slightly ahead… Keep Reading

The Value Of The Greek & Roman Classics

When a member of the House of Commons rises to speak on a subject in which he has a pecuniary interest, both the rules of the House and plain decency require him to declare that interest. It is a just requirement, and I propose to follow it here. My agreed title for this morning is “The Value of the Greek and Roman Classics.” I run the Centre for Ancient Studies, which provides tuition in Greek and Latin and Classics in general. The Pardon That Broke Iceland’s Back

On September 13th, the government of Iceland convened for the first time since the summer break. By midnight the next day, the government had completely fallen. In 2004, Hjalti Sigurjon Hauksson was imprisoned for raping his stepdaughter nearly every day for 12 years, until she was 18. Today, his crime has helped to collapse the government of Iceland. Several months ago, Benedikt Sveinsson, the father of Iceland’s Prime Minister, drafted a letter of recommendation for Hauksson, arguing that his “honor should be restored.” In Iceland, members of the public can privately recommend people for the honor of a pardon, and it may then… Keep Reading

President Trump Offers Nothing But Hot Air For His Disingenuous UN Speech

President Donald Trump gave an “America First” speech in front of the United Nations today, speaking out in favor of national sovereignty, deriding the evils of socialism and communism, and calling for other countries to contribute more for global security. However, examining Trump’s record against his rhetoric shows that his speech today consisted of mostly hot air. “As President of the United States, I will always put America first, just like you, as the leaders of your countries will always, and should always, put your countries first,” Trump said toward the beginning of his speech. However, Trump’s foreign policy has… Keep Reading

Progressive Socialism And The Democrats

The liberals of the Democratic Party have given way to the progressive-socialists that have overtaken their party. Why Natural Disasters Are Worse For Poor Countries

In the wake of hurricane Harvey, disaster experts were shocked by how few deaths resulted from the storm: ““It was astounding that we didn’t have a much larger loss of life,” said Phil Bedient, co-director of a Rice University effort to research severe storms and evacuations. A recent count puts total storm-related deaths at 82, out of a metropolitan population of more than 6.5 million. The relative lack of lives lost is being attributed to a variety of factors including luck, the timing of evacuation orders, and “swift action by first responders.” There’s no doubt that these factors contributed to… Keep Reading

Individuals expecting carnage yesterday as Trump supporters and fans of the cult rap music act, Insane Clown Posse–nicknamed Juggalos–descended upon Washington D.C. came away very disappointed. The Juggalo March commenced without any real disruptions, garnering a great deal of positive press coverage, and making the point abundantly clear that the FBI’s ‘gang’ label of the group is wholly unwarranted. While the rule wouldn’t ban these clauses from company contracts entirely, it would prevent them from being used to stop group action. Aside from representing a blatant government intrusion in private businesses, this could seem like a good thing at face value. Consumers would be free to utilize further legal options, however,… Keep Reading

Think Gentrification Is Bad? The Opposite Is Worse

We’ve long been told that gentrification is the scourge of many communities, and we’ve become very familiar with the scenario: a stable middle-class community is destroyed when wealthy (usually white) people move in, drive up home prices, and force out the “diverse” population that had been there previously. There are problems with this narrative of course. Very often, the working-class homeowners who leave the neighborhood experience a windfall from selling their property to the incoming “up and comers” who buy out the aging homeowners. There is an upside. On the other hand, there are indeed downsides to gentrification. There are… Keep Reading
