Trump Administration Set To Pull United States From Globalist Climate Agreement

One of former President Obama’s signature achievements is set to be completely nullified. President Donald Trump has alerted EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt and other officials that he intends to withdraw from the Paris Climate deal. Trump wrote in a Tweet that was published yesterday, “I will make my final decision on the Paris Accord next week!” Although Trump is still playing it coy publicly, his private plans are apparently far different. He is planning to seize upon his “America First” mandate pertaining to the environment, and eschew the arbitrary carbon caps manufactured by globalist elites. The Obama administration had previously pledged under the Paris Climate deal that the United States would limit their carbon dioxide emissions by up to 28 percent below 2005 levels by 2025. United States carbon dioxide emissions are already declining sharply in large part due to increased energy exploration, casting even more doubt on the necessity of this agreement. Keep Reading

Anti-Establishment Right Makes Comeback Within Trump Administration

The ‘campaign Donald Trump’ is set to return in the coming weeks and months, with extensive reports of major staffing reshuffles in Trump world favoring operatives associated with the grassroots right that spearheaded the historic victory last year. This follows an evident shift to the right on policy emanating from the Trump administration, including Trump hammering NATO leaders on their failure to adhere to the terms of the alliance, siding with the Freedom Caucus against Paul Ryan on the border tax, and unveiling an impressive, conservative budget plan. A report by Axios suggests White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon will be heading a new “war room” to take on the liberal media and their deep state sources, who are seeking to undermine the Trump presidency with questionable allegations of collusion with Russia. Bannon, the former head of Breitbart News, is regarded by nationalists as their strongest advocate within the administration. Although he was said to have been sidelined back in April, it appears the continued onslaught of negative media coverage has led Trump to re-embrace… Keep Reading

Trump Administration Sides With Freedom Caucus To Oppose Paul Ryan’s Border Tax

Although the Trump administration and the House Freedom Caucus have been at odds this year, both factions are coming together against a new border tax. Treasury secretary Steven Mnuchin met with the Freedom Caucus on Tuesday to give words of encouragement to the hardline conservative legislators. Mnunchin allegedly told members of the Freedom Caucus that the Trump administration is unwavering in its opposition to a border adjustment tax, according to sources obtained for an Axios report. The border adjustment tax is currently being floated by House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI). On this issue, President Trump is apparently behind the Freedom Caucus 100 percent in opposition. “Secretary Mnuchin gave great insight into the thinking of the administration on tax reform,” Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) said to Axios. Meadows is the current chairman of the Freedom Caucus. “We are well served by his leadership. It became apparent that there is a growing consensus in the administration that we must act soon to advance tax reform and BAT [the border adjustment tax]… Keep Reading

Libertarian Maxime Bernier Narrowly Loses Canadian Conservative Party Leadership Election

Maxime Bernier, Quebec MP and former Foreign Minister, narrowly lost his bid for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada on Saturday to Saskatchewan MP and former House of Commons Speaker Andrew Scheer by just 49% to Scheer’s 51%. Scheer is a close ally of former Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who was criticized by libertarians during his tenure for his support for Keynesian-style stimulus spending. The relatively bland and generic Scheer is generally associated with the party establishment, while Bernier was seen as an outsider candidate. Bernier was believed to be the frontrunner in this race after the impromptu withdrawal of fellow outsider and Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary, who went on to endorse Bernier. However, the ranked ballot system used in the leadership election, which involves eliminating lower polling candidates and transferring their votes to the voter’s subsequent preferences, made the ultimate result difficult to predict. This system appears to have benefited Scheer, who had less personal support, but had the benefit of being less polarizing than other candidates. Bernier performed unusually poorly… Keep Reading

Inside Rand Paul’s Bipartisan Plan To Stop Weapons Deal For Radical Islamic Saudis

Recent news of President Trump’s $350 billion weapons deal with Saudi Arabia may have thrilled the Military-Industrial Complex and its Wall Street backers, but Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is not pleased. He thinks the deal may have unintended consequences in the Middle East and is reaching across the aisle in an attempt to partially block the agreement. Paul’s concerns mainly stem from the Islamic dictatorship’s ongoing war in Yemen. The Saudis have been committing bombing campaigns throughout Yemen for many years, specifically focusing on civilian targets. It is expected that the weapons being funneled to the Saudis through this agreement will aid in these vicious war crimes. That is what Paul wants to bring to an end. Keep Reading

Trump’s Pushy Approach Toward NATO Shows Member Countries Who Is Boss

President Donald Trump is not content to let other heads of state run roughshod over his authority. This fact was evident during yesterday’s gathering at the North American Treaty Organization (NATO) where Trump shoved other leaders aside and told them to pay up! Trump is currently abroad on the first international trip of his Presidency, and stopped in Brussels yesterday to join other world leaders at NATO headquarters. Although Trump has softened on NATO and no longer calls for their dissolution, Trump has not abandoned hardline rhetoric toward the organization completely. Dusko Markovic, Montenegro’s prime minister, felt the wrath of Trump personally as he was abruptly shoved aside by the President before a photo op. Markovic downplayed the incident. He said, “This was an inoffensive situation. I do not see it in any other way… I want to tell you that it is natural for the president of the United States to be in the first row.” Keep Reading

Buy American, Hire American

His original intent was to eliminate the H-1B visa program. However, upon meeting with corporate executives during his campaign, President Trump changed course, deciding the H-1B visa program didn’t need to be eliminated but reformed. Trump signed an executive order entitled “Buy American – Hire American”, designed to make it harder for U.S. companies to hire foreign help. It calls for four government agencies to suggest reforms to the H-1B visa program as soon as possible. Although the order doesn’t eliminate the H-1B visa program, its purpose is to ensure high-quality workers are being hired for “specialty positions” and not simply fill positions for cheaper wages. Before any U.S. company can decide to hire a foreign national, they must prove they tried every alternative route to find qualified American workers first. If they should need to hire a foreign national, they must be the best-of-the-best. Keep Reading

The Left And Islam: Enemies Of Western Civilization

The only good thing to emerge from the aftermath of the terrorist attack in Manchester is that we in the United States have perhaps the most unambiguous picture yet of what surrender looks like. From useful idiots like Katy Perry to George Stephanopoulos, we have witnessed the same consistent refrain: The problem isn’t mass murder, the problem is that people have a problem with mass murder. The real crime isn’t a bomb exploding at an Ariana Grande concert, the real crime is that anyone would have the temerity to highlight the root cause of the problem. The real problem is Western Civilization, a problem which must be eradicated. Mean spirited words aren’t always inappropriate but in our day and age of appeasement and craven kowtowing to the enemy of civilization – Islam – mean spirited words are worse than mass murder and those who speak them deserve to be horribly murdered. The subtext of the Leftist narrative behind this attack and all those which preceded it and all those… Keep Reading

What We Need To Learn From Manchester

ISIS did not attack in Manchester; a second-generation Muslim, son of immigrants, did. The Islamic State may have inspired 22-year-old Salman Abedi, but ISIS in the Middle East did not murder 22 youngsters and injure dozens at a performance of pop tart Ariana Grande. ISIS, no doubt, is pleased Salman Abedi has killed in Manchester. The outfit is eager to continue providing inspiration, even training, to his kind. But the ephemeral ISIS did not send Abedi and his ilk to kill Britons. The Abedis, who fly the Libyan flag outside the family home, were invited into England. Policy makers and power brokers in the West have invited Muslim immigrants to live among us in the idiotic belief that, underneath the nosebags (the burqa, the abaya, and full-body swaddle), they were just like us. War Before Civilization

Oh boy, Larsen’s doing another anthropology related post! With the recent…unpleasantness in Manchester, it might possibly be relevant to current events though. Well, maybe not, but it does debunk a major tenet of leftist anthropology, so it’s always semi-relevant if nothing else. If you’ll recall my last article, I am an anthropologist by training, and I have already taught you about the intellectual battleground that is the anthropology schism, a schism that is responsible for at least some of why the world sucks nowadays. That wordy introduction is what brings me to the subject of this article: Lawrence Keeley’s (PHD, Oxford University) War Before Civilization, a relatively recent (1994) textbook that scholastically analyzes the subject of tribal/pre-state warfare and compares it to modern warfare, while toying with some of the implications of what this data means for humanity as a whole. Simply put: if you have any lingering beliefs in “noble savagery”, or a primordial “Golden Age”, this book will absolutely shatter them: for his heavily footnoted analysis shows that, proportionally… Keep Reading

The Alt-Right Becomes New Pop Culture Scapegoat Of The Trump Era

When President Obama was in office, there was no shortage of portrayals in popular culture demonizing conservatives and libertarians. Patriots were regularly cast as hate-filled terror threats in television, video games, movies, and media outlets. In the age of President Trump, a new scapegoat du jour has emerged in the alt-right. The plot to a currently unreleased video game, Far Cry 5 shows how the propaganda narratives are shifting in the age of Trump. The game is set in Montana, a well-known hot spot for patriots as well as the home of the alt right’s most infamous provocateur Richard Spencer. The game’s villains appear to be an amalgamation of both groups. The cover image for the game depicts a “Last Supper” scene featuring bearded individuals who are crude stereotypes of militiamen with weapons and ammunition strewn about the table. They surround a dapper messiah figure with a hipster beard, presumably the leader of the flock, who looks as if he was modeled directly from right-wing blogger Gavin McInnes. Keep Reading

Mulvaney Testifies That Trump’s Pro-growth Policy Will Help Balance The Budget

Today, the Senate Budget Committee heard testimony on President Trump’s 2018 Budget. Today’s witness was Mick Mulvaney, director of OMB. Each Senator had five minutes to ask questions about the proposed budget. Most Senators chose to make long statements for the cameras. Very few questions asked by either side were made in an attempt to actually understand something that they did not already know. One of the leading issues raised by the minority party was that Trump assumed 2.9% growth each year for the next 10 years. Almost every Democrat Senator mentioned this issue and how irresponsible it is for Trump to assume such an aggressive growth rate. They argued that if this nation does not experience 2.9% growth each year for the next 10 years that Trump’s budget will not actually balance in 10 years. These Senators found it hard to believe that this nation’s economy can grow at 2.9% each year. Keep Reading

Donald Trump Isn’t Palpatine, He Is Valorum

Let’s get some things straight. I voted for Donald Trump because I wanted the best effort to defeat Hillary Clinton (the Star Wars equivalent of Mother Talzin), so, I admit there may be some levels of hypocrisy associated with this piece. Moving on… The simplest of ways to put this is that Donald Trump is not the image of the corrupt Sheev Palpatine (a.k.a. Darth Sidious) that the Left has characterized him to be. In fact, it is my belief that Trump – when applying Star Wars canon — holds similar characteristics of Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum, Palpatine’s predecessor. Keep Reading

Mulvaney Answers Congress’ Questions About Trump’s 2018 Budget

Former Congressman and House Budget Committee member Mick Mulvaney returns to the House Budget Committee today to testify on the details of Trump’s 2018 Budget. Mulvaney returned as the director of Office of Management and Budget. Before the hearing started, one could see Mulvaney casually talking to various members who he had served with just a few months ago. During the over three-hour hearing, Republican committee members praised the Trump budget for its vision to balance the budget within 10 years. Meanwhile, every Democratic member gave long grandstanding demonizing speeches as to why their pet government project (several of which Congress has not authorized in several years) was seeing a reduction or elimination of funds. If you were to listen to the Democrats, one would assume that without government assistance, most Americans would have no place to live and would starve to death. Even some Republicans could be seen whining about some special interest spending that was getting cut. Keep Reading

Provocative conservative sensation Milo Yiannopoulos recently announced his official return and is already up to his usual antics. He will lead a demonstration tomorrow in New York City against radical Muslim apologist Linda Sarsour, who is scheduled to be a keynote speaker at CUNY in June. Yiannopoulos will be joined by New York Assemblyman Dov Hikind, anti-Islam activist Pamela Geller, patriot leader Kyle “Based Stickman” Chapman, and many others to give a counterbalance to Sarsour’s pro-Islamist point of view. “The left’s chokehold on the nation’s most powerful institutions continues, despite a Trump presidency and a Republican Congress, but this is a step too far. Sarsour being given the honor of commencement speaker is so malignant and so evil, it cannot be ignored. There is a responsibility for the time we are living in,” Geller wrote in a Breitbart editorial earlier this month about the protest. Keep Reading

According to Mises Cuba, “Chartrand was scheduled to meet up at the Benjamin Franklin Libertarian Library but never made it.”  This is not uncommon and is actually a norm for the state’s treatment of political prisoners. In fact, the Cuban Libertarian Party (Partido Libertario Cubano- Jose Marti) was founded after two members of Mises Cuba were arrested for promoting free markets, small governments, and freedom. According to Tho Bishop, Director of Social Media Marketing at the Mises Institute: “[Ubaldo Herrera] Hernandez, who also oversees the Benjamin Franklin Libertarian Library project, was charged with the crime of “attack”, a common charge for political opponents. We Must Defeat Radical Islam

When radical Islamist 22-year-old Salman Abedi blew himself up at a pop music concert in Manchester, England, killing 22 and wounding 59, he did more than commit a terrorist attack – he once again demonstrated the insidious nature of violent, radical Islam manifested as jihad. The suicide bomber detonated himself at Manchester Arena late Monday as concertgoers streamed out following the end of Ariana Grande’s concert. While ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack – at least in terms of inspiration, if not direct operational support – what is important is the fact that someone who was born in Britain not only had the desire to carry out an attack that would kill and injure scores of people but would also be willing to give his life in the process. Trump Administration Unveils The Most Libertarian Budget In History, But Will Congress Approve It?

Fiscally conservative critics of President Trump were shocked today as his first budget was announced. Trump’s budget office director, Mick Mulvaney unveiled a budget today that would cut $3.6 trillion in federal spending over the next decade. The only thing standing in the way of this libertarian budget is Congress. The Trump proposal may be too ambitious to be palatable for Congress. In spite of the Congress being dominated by Republican lawmakers, they have been reticent to making even the slightest of cuts to future government spending for many years. The GOP-dominated Congress even approved all of the Obama administration’s record spending. It remains doubtful that the legislature will approve Trump’s budget considering it would cut spending in areas that are still very popular to the electorate. Trump’s budget would cut at least $610 billion from Medicaid and more than $192 billion from food stamps over a decade, according to a Reuters report. Factoring in projected revenue increases, the budget would be balanced in 10 years as well. Trump’s… Keep Reading

Healthcare Is Neither a Right Or a Privilege

A few days ago I had the opportunity to participate in a brief discussion on the subject of healthcare, more precisely, whether it is a right or a privilege. The person I was talking with is one of those who frames the debate in terms of a false dilemma: healthcare is either a right or a privilege. If it is not one it must be the other, the former being the morally upright side of the debate, the latter being on the side of evil corporations and systemic greed aimed at killing and robbing as many poor people as possible. Stated again, this is a false dilemma. Healthcare is neither a right or a privilege, it is a service subject to scarcity and hence, subject also to the principles of economics. Keep Reading

North Korea Issues Demands, Orders Trump To Back Off As Precondition For Diplomacy

And if they fail, a lot of their voters will clearly ask what good the current leadership is if it can’t even oust a man so much of the Democratic base sees as nothing short of the devil.” It’s fair to study the constitutionality behind an impeachment and their claims for it. Feminists Feel A Nervous Tremor

A few weeks ago, the website “Feminist Current” wrote an article about the coming propagation of sex robots. As you might expect, it was not in favor of men utilizing these sex robots. The reason given for this trepidation was that sex robots are the epitome of patriarchy—now, women would no longer be seen as metaphorical sexual objects by the pipe smoking, Brylcreem-wearing patriarch of feminist nightmares. Men would have literal sexual toys, and this would, of course, inspire them to see women as sexual toys even more than they already do, in a vicious cycle of female abuse. If I may, I find this explanation to be a bit flimsy, for a few reasons: I want to make something perfectly clear (since the typical “femsplanation” for any protest against feminist talking points is that said protester is a pathetic virgin loser with a tiny penis and no life): I have no interest in sex dolls or sex robots. I’m in a loving and happy relationship with a real, flesh… Keep Reading

The Trump administration is working diligently to make Saudi Arabia great again, having secured a weapons cache totaling over $100 billion for the Islamist kingdom. It was reported that Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and his influential advisor, called up the CEO of Lockheed Martin to secure the deal himself. The New York Times issued a report yesterday describing Kushner’s “personal touch” on a $110 billion weapons deal brokered at the behest of the Saudis. Kushner called Marillyn A. Hewson, chief executive of infamous defense contractor Lockheed Martin, to persuade her to lower the price tag for his Saudi cronies. “The Trump administration is expected to frame the deal, worth about $110 billion over 10 years, as a symbol of America’s renewed commitment to security in the Persian Gulf. Dignity Lost: A Culture In Decline

The eternal lament of old timers is, “Young people these days,” and not without good reason. What one generation tolerates in moderation, the next will embrace to excess, or so I’ve heard it said. The Greatest Generation had to deal with their children being pot-smoking, long-haired hippies, neither of which are cardinal sins these days, in point of fact, they’re par for the course. Unwashed hair, unshorn armpits, and a perpetual high are now normal (I’m not sure if patchouli stink will ever be or has ever been tolerable) but even the hippies cleaned up their act in time for the golden age of the eighties. They knew the party wouldn’t and couldn’t last forever and eventually they grew up and reclaimed the dignity their parents tried to instill in them. In our day and age of gratuitous sexuality and violence in entertainment, it’s difficult to see young people these days ever reclaiming a vestige of self-respect, if they had any to begin with. Suspicion circulated throughout social and alternative media after Rich’s killing, with journalists and commentators such as Mike Cernovich questioning whether Rich’s murder was carried out in order to silence him from leaking potentially politically damaging information about Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party in the run-up to the November 8th Presidential Election. However, Fox 5’s correspondence with a private investigator has revealed some suspicious details, that could be said to give credence to theories that Rich’s murder was politically motivated. Rod Wheeler- a private investigator hired to research the case by the Rich family after local authorities failed to crack the case-  gave an earnestly shocking answer when asked if Rich had any connections to Wikileaks,… Keep Reading

How Anthropology Makes The World Worse

Something that my readers may not know about me is that I am an anthropologist by training, biological (or evolutionary) anthropology to be exact. Indeed, BS from Rutgers University of New Brunswick, New Jersey, on the Dean’s List my senior year, which frankly makes me as legitimate a scientific authority as Bill Nye. Jokes aside, I’ve noticed in our little sphere of the internet that amongst men who have taken the red pill, so to speak, anthropology is not respected very much, if not seen as a major reason for why the cultural zeitgeist of today sucks as hard as it does. And…yeah, I’m inclined to agree. But I don’t think it should be that way if anthropology is taught and studied properly; that is to say, if actual archaeological and ethnographic evidence is used rather than being swept under the rug in order to promote an ideological agenda. But to answer the question of how anthropology does make the world worse…that is an answer that will require a good amount of… Keep Reading

House Freedom Caucus Member Mo Brooks Announces Senate Run

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) is attempting to make the jump from the House over to the Senate. The ultra-conservative lawmaker officially kicked off his campaign today after making several pit stops throughout the state of Alabama. “America’s future is at risk because our country’s foundational principles are under daily attack,” Brooks said as reported by the Alabama Media Group. “Our republic is only as good as our elections process. America’s elections are threatened by those who support voter fraud and election theft by opposing voter identification laws while encouraging non-citizens to vote in American elections.” Brooks is competing for the seat vacated by Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who left the Senate mid-term to serve in the Trump administration. Brooks will be competing against incumbent Senator Luther Strange, who was appointed to the seat back in February by former Gov. Robert Bentley. Bentley was forced to resign in disgrace following an embarrassing public sex scandal. He plead guilty to misdemeanor campaign-finance charges and resigned last month. His baggage may extend… Keep Reading

Alex Jones: My Radio Show Is a Trump-Free Zone!

Conspiracy-minded radio host Alex Jones has been under fire in recent weeks undergoing a series of messy public legal battles. Jones is under so much heat that he has even warned his close ally, President Donald Trump to stay off his radio show! “The truth is I told the president — I’m like, “Down the road some time, once we’ve got the big agenda through, please come on.” And he’s like, “How about soon? how about, yeah, I want to come on. How about next week?” “Sir, I’m not sure that would be good. I’ve said a lot of things — a lot of things out of context. I’m just not sure about that.” He just paused. See. See how that works? It isn’t about me. It’s about victory,” Jones said on his radio broadcast recorded May 12. Keep Reading

Libertarian Lawmakers Criticize Trump Administration’s Support Of Mandatory Minimum Policies

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) are up in arms after Attorney General Jeff Sessions released sentencing guidelines last week indicating his favor of mandatory minimum sentences that were being phased out by the Obama administration. The two libertarian lawmakers have been long-time advocates for criminal justice reform. They feel that the Trump Administration under Sessions is clearly headed in the wrong direction on this particular policy, which will only serve to clog the prisons further while doing little to prevent crime. “Mandatory minimum sentences have unfairly and disproportionately incarcerated too many minorities for too long,” Paul said in a press release. “Attorney General Sessions’ new policy will accentuate that injustice. Instead, we should treat our nation’s drug epidemic as a health crisis and less as a ‘lock ‘em up and throw away the key’ problem.” Amash concurred with Paul’s statement. He said the following in a Twitter post from May 12, “Let’s pass criminal justice reform to put an end to this unjust, ineffective, and… Keep Reading

White House Press Corps Refuses To Report “Real News”

Today, during the White House Press Briefing, Sean Spicer started his portion of the press briefing highlighting the new trade agreement with China. This trade agreement is a major first step by Donald Trump in reducing the current trade imbalance between the two countries. Reducing the trade imbalance with China will have a positive economic impact on the lives of everyday Americans. The China trade deal allows American beef to be imported into China for the first time in 13 years. It also allows for the importation of Liquid Natural Gas. The financial sector will also benefit as American banks can now compete for China’s credit card processing business. While these three industries will benefit, Americans will also benefit. Are Parents No Longer Teaching Respect?

Berkley continues allowing liberal snowflakes to rule their institution. And why wouldn’t they? Universities are businesses. They need to keep customers happy. Otherwise, they take their business elsewhere. School administrators don’t approve of the property damage caused by student’s outbursts. Yet, those students have parents paying huge loads of money, funding their education. Which, in turn, finances the institution. These temper tantrums, in the name of social justice (of course), could represent a more serious problem which has been happening for decades. Our parents and our grandparents were held responsible for their bad behavior growing up. Back then, parents sided with school administrators, reminding their children that teachers were not their babysitters. However, a complete cultural 180 has taken place, and not just with liberal dominated schools like Berkley, but across the nation. When kids act up, it seems parents question why school administrators are so hard on their kids.  Then, in situations where a teacher or principal attempts to handle an out-of-control student, parents make claims that their… Keep Reading

The Betrayal Of The American Youth

Modern academia is downright shameful. Is this nothing more than exaggerated hyperbole? No, I mean this full stop. Academia has abandoned an entire generation and geared them towards disaster. What used to be the marketplace of ideas is now a nursery of anti-intellectualism. Academia was once known as a place for a young adult to develop his own thoughts by hearing new ideas and contending his ideas with others. It was not established to be a home. Its purpose was to be an intellectual arena, a boot camp for the mind. The decline of academia came when relativism took over. Relativism is the idea that knowledge and morality are all subjective. Which is why you hear the phrase, “Everyone has a right to their own opinion,” uttered so frequently, and while most certainly might be true, it does not mean that everyone has a right their own facts or truth. When you make every argument relative, when moral standards become subjective, you begin to erode our society. Because when… Keep Reading

America’s Inconsistent Relationship With James Comey

One of the most controversial figures in American politics over the last year didn’t run for President. Now former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey has repeatedly drawn the ire of either side of the political spectrum. Undoubtedly, given the stakes in a presidential election, his position was a no-win scenario. He was faced with allegations of mishandling classified information involving one candidate and improper foreign connections involving another candidate. At what point does the F.B.I. intervene with its progress and when does it decide to stand back from potentially influencing the election? For Comey, these questions likely weighed heavily. Yet, for many observers across America, it was more about Comey’s relationship to their respective candidate or political party. Over the course of several months, he went from being loved to hated and back again. One moment, Comey was a shill for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and another moment he was protecting President Donald Trump. Keep Reading

Libertarian Party Vice Chair Releases Controversial Anti-Military Manifesto

Libertarian Party vice chair Arvin Vohra released a divisive manifesto last night deriding the institution of the military, promising a coordinated effort to counteract “the lies and bluster military recruiters use to dupe young men and women” in the months to come. “If you were tricked by military recruiters, help prevent the same thing from happening to others. Share your experiences, and speak out boldly,” Vohra said in a Facebook post that immediately generated a polarizing reaction with most of the feedback being resoundingly negative. “I don’t think someone is innately evil for being in the military, but I think that a lot of the military’s actions have been evil,” Keith Thompson said in response to Vohra’s sentiments. “Seems kind of collectivist to paint with that broad of a brush.” “As someone who thought you were quite intelligent and informed, your comments remind me why the LP will never be a relevant party,” Rumman Kay replied. “Disappointed in you, bud.” Keep Reading
