Coming Soon! The Return Of The Republicans!

Sometimes I don’t know whether to kick the Supreme Court or kiss it.  As America  seemingly turns to the left, albeit by judicial fiat,  the Right will have its revenge in 2016 via the legitimate voice of the people, the ballot box.  This is where real change happens.  A few black robed tyrants in narrow decisions on Obamacare and “Gay Marriage” may impose their  will on the American people for  a spell, but we the people still have the ultimate check on a court run amok and now have a rallying cry to overturn these political/judicial decisions.     Such revolutionary change to our… Keep Reading

Elections Have Consequences; Time For GOP To Be Consequential

The SCOTUS decision in King v Burwell is like this: On the eve of the Super Bowl, the most respected and experienced analysts declare that not only will the underdog team from the small-market city lose badly, but that their ability and skills are amateurish, their quarterback is ugly, their coach is a lunatic and their team’s owner is filthy degenerate. Our teachers lived in the same neighborhood as we did back in elementary school. There were also the Catholic kids (we didn’t know them because they went to Catholic school) who were from blue collar union… Keep Reading

Why Do TPA Opponents Trust Obama?

Most of the recent discussion surrounding Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) has focused on the overwhelming distrust of the President from, well, pretty much everyone. Many fear that the President plans to use trade agreement back-doors to compromise US sovereignty and ram through environmental and immigration policies that would not have a chance of making it through the GOP-controlled congress. The most consistent critique of those who support TPA (other than the criticisms mistakenly applied to TPA, that were intended for the TPP… read this to clear up that confusion) is that we should not trust this President with more power… Keep Reading
